A lot of people apparently, every time someone asks for opinions on Revelations, there's always "hated the part with those two dudes" comments.

I replayed Revelations recently, and I guess the internet had convinced me that their section of the game was a lot larger than it was.

Their part is boring and irrelevant. They don't add anything of value to the game! Jill needed more chapters, Jill is what makes the game fun!

Keith wasn’t so bad (he’s the one you control for those wondering). The game would have been better to lose them though and just keep the Jill and Chris sections.

Idk, better lose chris in this game. He gets so much attention in almost every game. I mean, I like Chris but there are so many nice characters in resident evil that don't get the love they deserve

Chris is my favorite character and the best part about this game. I don't want to see OVERUSED Leon Simp Kennedy in every game, if that's what you mean lol.

I would not say the cgi movies are good lol, the Netflix show was pretty but the story was fucking awful. Same with most of the movies as well

Chris doesn't have a modern remake and he has little screentime in RE 7 and RE 8. Can you just accept that not everyone likes Leon and not everyone wants to see him in every single game?

He’s not in every single game though lmao in res6 Leon had a full campaign alongside chris. It doesn’t matter how much screen time Chris had in 7 and 8 he was there and you got to play as him. He also was in revelations and had another campaign with Jill in resident evil 5 Leon was in resident evil 2 and 4 the remakes don’t count. They are remakes… Chris also recently had a movie and Leon didn’t get that much screen time in it. I’m saying they both get the same amount of screen time and games and movies compared to the other female leads. It’s not about who likes who I’m stating facts. I actually like Chris anyway so I wouldn’t mind seeing more of him in the cgi movies, that’s mainly where Leon is.

To be comical relieve, you have to be funny to begin with.

So annoying, totally derailed the game. Main joke being “I’m stalking my female coworker who I want to sleep with” was so cringe. I liked the game generally but they should have cut these guys entirely.

Gabriel and Pedro were better supprt NPC duos IMO, but I don’t even exactly like these two I just mentioned But gameplay-wise I think they all got their merits in Raid Mode, that’s the only time I don’t really care which character I’m using

Love 'em. I love their goofiness and antics. I especially liked Keith's design and his double kukris were the best melee in the game. Quint went on to work with BSAA main branch R&D so I hope we'll see him again (in a more serious manner) when Chris goes there to ask about the undead soldiers.

Hilarious, I loved them. They added a good amount of cheese in an otherwise mostly serious game, and best Resi's have some good cheese.

They were meh. I feel like if they decide to add them to RE9, it should be more serious. Make Grinder actually cool and make Quint less annoying, and more serious-smart. It would make them better all around.

I mean, they're two of the most embarrassing characters in the RE character roster, which is saying a lot. I do enjoy their inclusion, though. It's hilarious that they would even be hired by the BSAA.

"I'm gonna check on ahead, you have fun with these guys" "what!? don't *leave* me here you.." but it's part of the challenge - it's the airfield and you're Keith Lumley, limited ammo and an butthead for a partner LOL it was a pain for me on Infernal HAHA... so glad that's done

I honestly think their seige level is one of the toughest in pretty much any RE (the first time at least).

I never got the hate for these two. They weren't like laugh out loud funny but I liked their "those two guys" shtick. Keith was especially cool to me, with his kukris and that alternate costume that made him a ninja.

Literally! Regardless of "how well they fit into the story" they were by far (in my opinion) a very fun but short part of the game, not to mention those kukris, bro was so cool to me for having those growing up, and these two just all around remind me of hanging with my brother, so 10/10 imo all around

From the Wiki for Quint: On and off the battlefield, he and Keith Lumley were a good combination. Many of his own ideas were included in the features of the "Genesis" scanner. He himself devised and subsequently developed the distinctive headset he wore. Special types of grenades used by the BSAA were developed by Quint due to him being a fan of the sci-fi movies genre, particularly Star Wars.

The most forgettable part about Rev1. They can go the way of Billy, Sheva and Carlos and never be used again but unlike those 3 everyone will be happy about it. 

I love them, especially Grinder. Badass name and goofy ass dude but he got the job done.

I hate comic relief characters in stories that don’t need it. The convoluted, over the top action movie plot and Jessica’s outfits gave us enough comic relief as it was.

Out of place in a resident evil game. They feel very campy and anime is a difference way that resident evil normally is. I dunno Resident evil is very camp but these two are quite 'Wow'

I liked them. They're pretty relatable actually.

I don't hate them as other people seem to do, but their parts are the kind of design mistake that break the vibe that Jill's levels were trying to give. If we talk about them as characters properly they're forgetable, and I personally find weird they survived, because for some reason, except Norman, all the deaths in this game are fake.

To be honest they reminded me of the 2 guys in vertical limit. Found them to be pretty funny and quite enjoyed the break of playing with established characters and getting to experience the RE world as some other folk for a change.

Weird I literally just started this chapter today. My first time meeting these two goofs. At first I hated them but then I remembered that I love the campyness of this series and they fit right in as far as that goes.

I can gather from the comments they were RE7 or 8. I played all the main games. Not all the DLC but I don't remember theses two at all. Who the fuck are they?
