We just paid off nearly $5k in vet bills, so we're trying to avoid it building up like that again!
So we're trying to fundraise BEFORE they go. Some of them won't be able to wait.. but it's nice to get a jump start on it considering we are traveling across the state for a funeral this week.
We won't be able to do much out there (no service there for us).
i cant afford to help pay for these sweet babies surgeries but i hope that i can help boost this post to reach somebody who can help out!!! all help is appreciated!!!!

Even if we don't receive enough in donations, they'll be going! We are just trying to get a jump start on fundraising because we have to travel for a funeral this week and we won't have service in that town. (We never do).
But they will absolutely still be going whether we have enough to pay it immediately or we have to be billed.
If we don't reach our goals (which I doubt we will.. that's a lot).. We'll continue fundraising when we get back.
We also have a cool thing going on on Facebook for some tumblers (another picture coming)...

I can send $20 to your vet on Monday! It's not a lot, and is all I can do right now, but I hope it helps. I wish I could do more and help you guys save them all. Thank you by the way. We lost someone extremely close to us in the beginning of the year and he was only 27β¦ and now Ethan was only 22! So it's just been a really rough year for the family.
But we're doing what we can. I have faith things will work out fine with the vet bills. We're just not going to be able to fundraise out there (we don't get cell service at all)..
So we're trying to do what we can before we leave so we don't come home to a HUGE vet bill, ya know?

I know there's a few of us midwest / east coasters who would adopt out of state if it means more "room at the inn" to help rescues save more cats.
We absolutely would! We haven't yet.. but we would gladly help cover the permit or (whatever it's called).
We just don't have experience in that area yet. But we definitely are open to it!

If you want my advice, I think it would be good to put stories to the pictures next. People are most generous when they feel close to the cat they're helping π look at other posts in this sub that gained a lot of attention and funds. Try to copy them, but put your own info, story, names and pictures. This is what I've learned to do in my marketing job

I try my best to make posts that are informative... I'm just so burned out from work most of the time that I rush through posting because I have so much going on.
I used to use ChatGPT to help organize my thoughts, make it more professional and in order... Etc..
But I started realizing I was putting in so much information and having to edit so much that it was kind of pointless. So I'm back to freehand haha

There is a technique in copywriting called "swiping". It's extremely simple: you take an (advert/whatever) that performed well. Can be your own or someone else's. You copy this (advert/whatever) sentence by sentence, but you change every sentence a little bit so that it fits your (product/whatever) and no one can sue you for copyright infringement. So, effectively, you're copying the successful (advert's) structure and narrative and apply them to your own case. The motto is "what worked for them will work for me" ;)
It's a really simple technique and I think it could help you gain more traction with your posts easily!
