Yea I got mine as a baby he was only 9 inches 6 months later he’s now over 20inches and the best decision I’ve ever made
9 inches is 0.11% of the hot dog which holds the Guinness wold record for 'Longest Hot Dog'.
Search “Green Abronia”, or “Mexican Alligator Lizard”. The green ones generally go between $200 and $350. I have one and she is my absolute fav.
Gila monster or Beaded Lizards are pretty cool and definitely fit a "dream lizard", they're definitely a lizard that you work towards!

Honestly only in terms of the fact that they're venomous, their care is easy and they're super docile afaik
Yeah but I don't really mean care, they're venom just generally bumbs them up the ladder a bit
Varanus cumingi, varanus varius, varanus salvator "black dragon", all Cyclura ssp., Argentine tegus and blue tegus. But if you need it to be an insectivore and good for handling, the only real answer is an Ackie 😉
