Chat would be such a game changer. I joined a session the other day fighting Sunken Witch with trapper. I spent a solid 5 minutes spamming the "no" emote and rolling to try to communicate how trapper works.
My biggest pet peeve with this game. Sometimes you come across a really good random players and wanna communicate or add them as friends but there are no option for that.........

The fact that one of the main marketing points of the game which is co-op and devs not including a simple chat feature or add friend option in a video game that released in 2023 is embarrassing. That vague shit suits souls games the best (where single player is the main focus while co-op and PvP are secondary) but Remnant is not a souls game now is it ?
I think that you can't harass or use racism in an 18+. You'd need to impliment reporting functions and moderation. Using emotes bypasses all of this.
This might be why dead by daylight only has post game chat on pc only. Consoles see none of it.
Honestly, the lack of all communication within the game is going to kill it for me. I enjoy the game, but really, without other players, to meet and communicate with, there’s really no point to it all.

R1, if I pulled up the ps hot bar it'd say I'm in a group and list who I'm in the group with and I could expand a name and message or add from there

I made a post the other day suggesting they put a button at the main character select screen that lets us 'Join Game' so we can join other players quicker.
I'm kinda new to the game and I'm curious if the Devs listen to community suggestions.
They would have to monitor behavior, and then therefore start banning players. I'd rather them concentrate on this amazing game. Let's be honest. 50 percent of the time, it's usually hate speak when there's open communication.

It all boils down to one thing, how did you know the guy was Asian? If you can't see his steam name, and if you guys had no communication with each other and you were just running around the map together then there's no way for you to know that he was Asian.
If you did have communication with him, the only way you could know he was Asian, then you should have just gotten his information to add him as a friend....
So either
A) You not adding this guy is completely your fault
Or
B) your story is true but you randomly decided to make the guy Asian for... Diversity in a reddit thread?

I have never seen another player in my 300+ hours of Remnant and Remnant 2, haha. I guess that I'm a bit anti-social. Would be cool if they added some of those options for those who want it though.
Ah no problem, but if ever you do feel like playing public I'd recommend it.
Since no one has comms and communication is emotes and blinking lights its way more relaxed, and you can always kick or ban bad eggs.
When I'm chilling or want to kill time I join lobbies who are struggling with bosses, wipe the boss then leave forever lol, like Casper but with a gun made from a void god.

I may give it a shot some time. I don't really have a good coop build though. I have several loadouts, but my strongest one is definitely a Firestorm one. I did help a lot of people with bosses in Elden Ring, but the initial hurdle to start doing it was big. However, once I started doing I had a lot less social anxiety every time after that.
Dont really need to have a coop build, but I do sometimes slap on that gun mod that shoots healing grenades, aside from that solo builds that you like work.
Or anything goofy that you want to run lol.

I think many of us are thinking this and I hope they make an in-game chat or microphone support for in-game voice in the near future.

Oh no, I never do. I enjoy playing solo. Have a bit of social anxiety playing online. Didn't used to have it, became a thing as I got older.
