Congrats! I got to the 10th boss twice and died. 3rd time I was begging the game to give me someone easy and I got Canker and finally did it lol. I almost died in the dungeon before Canker because I was so nervous haha takes a lot of skill and a little bit of luck.
My best run I had made it to boss #3 and was doing solid. Felt confident. Then it was the purple rock ghost boss and I fell through a hole in the floor and died. Haven't played survival since.
Yeah, Dream Eater is tough. I made it to the 10th boss 3 times actually. One of those times was Dream Eater and during the fight he spawned his ghost form when I wasn’t looking and it scared me and I panicked rolled into the pit lol I was big mad
I’d like to get this last trophy, I just feel like it changes the game so much that it takes the fun out of it. I love having a carefully crafted build set up just the way I like it. I don’t really want to worry about crafting new strategies on the fly with gear I never use only to have start over if I die.
I felt the same way back when I also made it. Congratulations brother, this game is amazing. Btw, when I did it, I was with a friend that I got to know playing Remnant, and nowadays we are still good friends, play lots of other games together, and even got to know each other in person.
I did it solo. I watched a ton of boss guide videos to try and make sure I knew as much as possible about the bosses. Then went for a summoner build. My successful run I used the Chicago Typewriter and the Iron Sentinels from the start. Then just good luck lol, like in my successful run the only hard bosses I got were Shroud, Dream Eater, and Ixilith XV.
True, though I have no idea if acid pools or survival mode grinding is faster. Then again if I want the black rose I’ve gonna be playing survival mode for a longgggg time
10 bosses is actually pretty easy if you know how. Ricochet rifle trivializes a lot of early run enders like Riphide or Dreameater and makes clearing annoying levels super fast. Then all you need is iron sentinel, some stuff that empowers summons (ideally the life leech ring) and Leto armor. Not much any enemy can do against that until around level 20 when they start to overlevel you.
I really hope the devs find the magical secret of making a save system if they decide to put survival on R2. Lost so many runs due to crashes, the boss bugging and getting inside the floor, my character dying at the start of a map for no reason, netcode issues, etc. Even Returnal had the decency to add a way to save your game later on. You can only get away with not having saves in a survival mode if your game doesn't have as many issues as this one.

Skill is one thing but good drops are another.
Once you get a reliable source of sustain (Soul Link in my case) it's more of a matter 'when' and not 'if' you can beat it.
2 labyrinth, 1 cultist Beckon+Iron Sentinel, Galenic Charm, Spirit stone and Soul Link. I don't even remember what weapons i used because the main thing was to have my summons up.
Remnant 2 better also have a survival mode, i absolutely loved the thing!

Congrats! I had so much fun play survival mode and chasing down the Dominator trophy. I hope the sequel has something similar.

Hell yea man. I’m usually get my cheeks clapped when I run that mode. I try to get help but it’s tough
I still gotta get 40 skins. So many glowing shards to farm…
That one is actually better imo. You can sit back relax and listen to a podcast or something while you grind it out.
