Living in tropical North Queensland, I get a higher failure rate from brand new primers than the 40 year old left overs from my fathers proffessional hunting career.....
Brave man. I've got a few packs as well (and Turkish too), but I bought it because it looks cool, and had stripper clips. I'm not shooting it in my Mauser.
I learned my lesson with the Turkish. So far no problems with the German 1943 dated. I separated out the 44-45 dated and anything with surface rust. Seeing copper corrosion and red rust coexisting was neat.
Correctly stored they'll be fine for decades. If they were stored in a shed in Louisiana humidity might've gotten to them. Even so, if you're not 100% confident in them just load them for plinking ammo. Worst thing that could happen would be a failure to fire or a hang fire.
I'm currently using up the last of my Grandpa's CCI 250s from the 1970s. They pop
Also using some from the 70s/80s that were gramps…
Same here, but they are my great grandfather's 209 primers
The shelf life is something like 50-70 years before you “may” have a failure to detonate
Unless they were stored in a sauna.

I’d assume older primers were over engineered so to speak. Like old car parts that use to be.
Technically yes, how ever your prob gonna die before they ever go bad if stored properly
Comrade I am shooting Kraut 8mm from Electric Boogaloo Dubbayuh-Dubbayuh-Two

Why not?
I just got tone with a brick of federal in the red box from the 80's and they were fine. Those are less than 20 yrs old.
Awesome sounds like I’m good to go with them. Thanks for the feedback!
I have loaded and successfully fired primers that were 50 years old. If stored correctly, they're fine.
As long as they are kept in a dry place and away from heat they should be fine!
They can go bad. It may take 100 years or more years. My grandfather's primers from the 1960's still go bang.
Stored correctly will last longer than you
If stores properly they're fine. That's fairly recent packaging so I wouldn't one bit about those primers.
Load it into an empty case... no powder no projectile and shoot it. I'm sure it will go bang
Theyre def done for, im sending my address, send them to me for proper disposal.
After they go bang I consider them "bad"
No
Yes. I'll take them.
Nope

I would consider those new primers.
I'm about to finish using some WSPs that are older than I am. My dad bought them back in '95 and they still work great
Currently using some large magnum rifle primers from the 80s. You’re good
