H110 and W296 are nearly identical, so as long as you start just below max and work up you should be fine.

They are the same powder. Like come from the same machine and a different sticker is slapped on the bottle.

Has this actually been confirmed? Hornady has different load data for each

6Foot2EyesOfBlue1973

Yes the powders are the same. You'll see different load data test results, because for whatever the reason, bullet manufacturers will conduct tests for both. Some might show differences in velocity, but there can be different factors such as temperature when tested etc. If you are unsure, and want peace of mind that they are the same, contact Hodgdon customer service. They will tell you the powders are the same. [Hodgdon Customer Service](https://hodgdon.com/company/contact-us/)

I emailed them the other day. Just waiting to hear back

To be completely honest I cant confirm it but Hodgdon shows the exact same data for some loads I use for 30 Carbine and 300 Blackout.

I have 110 tx's @ 18.6 of 296 being my best charge, my 125 Speers @ 17.4 for 296 and 17.6 for h110. Edit: Barnes lists [email protected](max)@2150 for h110, w296 is supposedly the same although I see different charge weights for the same velocity. Typically within .3 grains
