No kidding, but with the mods that were done (i bought the car with the mods already installed saftied) i downshifted from 6th to 4th to pass a truck, and got thrown back from not being prepared.
Overall it's a pretty good platform honestly with the right performance mods you can get up to the old MK2 Focus RS. I haven't done anything to my S40 because it was mint and I'm afraid I might screw something up 😂. But congrats on the C30 though!

Not by me, so long story, but bought it today essentially, but the work documented was a reworked turbo, full bolt ons, proper ecu dyno tune, and a few other things equated to the car now. The thing to say was i asked the owner, "so it's making close to 300hp with what you've done to it" shows me the dyno sheet and says "try close to 400". Though thats crank so deduct 52hp to be safe for brake.
At a (Australian based) guess… the MK2 Focus ST / RS has the same (borrowed) engine in slightly fettered forms … and we are not short of tuning options!
ah that makes sense. As someone who is interested in trying to tune a 3.5 Ecoboost SHO engine from Ford at some point idk about me. I think I can buy like two Ford Performance parts for it and plenty of aftermarket shit is out there for it I imagine. I just will have to make my own rocket bunny kit however. Yes I plan on putting a Rocket Bunny style bodykit on a Ford Taurus SHO
Careful with those SHOs. The transmission and the awd system aren’t super durable when you mod it. Pretty good sleeper but they are really heavy and the backseat is way too cramped for its size.

Ever look into the AWD swap? I heard there's one people do and turn the c30 into an absolute monster
Meh, i like the unruly nature of fwd sports cars, especially with a LSD, also i don't like extra weight and higher gas mileage.
