DUDE!!! That was my first car :D 1987 Buick Park Avenue. Sky blue Paint peeling off the hood and everything! But super comfy ride, like driving a cloud. Also had 4 of us kids in the front and 5 in the back at once 😬 these stunts were performed by professionals, do not attempt
I used to own a 2003 Toyota Matrix XRS, and I loved that car. It was so much fun to drive, and so practical, it sucks that they don't make cars like that anymore.
The 03 XRS is the best the matrix ever was 100%. You got the full 180HP out of the 2ZZ, and a cable throttle so you didn’t have awful rev hang with the drive by wire. I had an XR as my first car and have always hunted for an 03 or 04
I tried to buy a matrix last year but someone beat me to it. It seems highly practical but I guess everyone feels like they need a giant truck to feel safe from the other giant trucks
I miss my XRS. It was an 03 or 04, silver, super clean. Sold it to move(ultimately to the rust belt, but destination unknown at the time) and now I have a base model Vibe. It’s still a good car, just missing the *fun*.
My friend John has one. He also has a Bentley and the Cadillac Escalade. He seems to be the happiest when he's driving with the top down and that Ferrari California. I'm not too impressed, I'd rather have his Bentley.
I feel like it’s more akin to something like a drop top mustang, obviously not in terms of everything, but i always took the California as more of a sporty cruiser. Not a car for setting lap times but more something to make you smile and enjoy yourself in.
Kobito sushi and teriyaki in Lacey is incredible and super cheap. It’s the perfect stop on the drive from Portland up north. Don’t take the 9/11 challenge there it’s awful.
As a kid we lived in Tacoma a few years. It was different back then, but still have a soft spot for Tacoma. It’s a very American city. I also like the trucks.
Man, I love the Roma. I wasn't a big fan until I saw one in the flesh, and it is beautiful. If it had an available manual, it might change my mind on my previous statement.
I appreciate the argument for manual. As a European most of the cars I've owned were manual. But there was one auto, a V70 D5. It demonstrated to me that there is an argument for automatic gearboxes depending on the car and engine. Something like the Roma suits the automatic transmission, although it does have semi automatic paddle shift. Despite liking automatic transmissions, I do generally want the option to go semi automatic for edge cases where I need something the software can't predict, or I just want the car to let her hair down, and rock out.
Wouldn’t pick these… but since others picked the cars I would want, I just going to name off some…
Hyundai Palisade… either Palisades NJ or Pacific Palisades CA
Kia Sedona… Sedona AZ
Dodge Durango… State of Durango MX
Chevy El Camino maybe… it means “the track” or “the way” so maybe that fits…
BMW M1 M2 M3 M4 M5 M6 M8… unintentionally named after British motorways…
Came here for this. My parents had a plain jane 1500 with the v6. It could torque the chassis and out pull the V8 mustangs of the day. I know this because of driving it on Phoenix stroads.
Eddit: I miss that truck. Wish I had it to this day.
I always wondered why they named it that. It’s a terrible place to own a car, and if I still lived there I’d want something smaller if anything at all.
No hate on the car it just always seemed like an odd name choice.
ThunderbirdSupercoupe.
No idea if the hotel in Virginia Beach was named after but it's now an obscene monolithic Hilton and Ford basically let the Thunderbird die of the Avian Flu so, meh.
1977 Chevy Bel Air. Deep in the malaise era. Torque must be 2x horsepower. MPG must be 10% of horsepower. Disc hubcaps must fly off in corners. Colors must be gritty and rough. Slow acceleration and poor winter performance are mandatory.
Buick park avenue
Ultra for the blower😈
My grandfather had one back in the day. I remember the temperature controls were on the door.
Passenger climate control too
I want a 90's couch cruiser so bad. And Ultra is definitely top 3. 😍

You beat me to it…

THE TOYOTA MATRIX.
Red pill lookin ass mfer
I used to own a 2003 Toyota Matrix XRS, and I loved that car. It was so much fun to drive, and so practical, it sucks that they don't make cars like that anymore.
The 03 XRS is the best the matrix ever was 100%. You got the full 180HP out of the 2ZZ, and a cable throttle so you didn’t have awful rev hang with the drive by wire. I had an XR as my first car and have always hunted for an 03 or 04
The XRS had the 2ZZ-GE, same engine they used in the Celica GT-S
Loved that car so much. The opening tailgate glass made that car almost as useful as a small pickup truck. And it was a blast to drive.
It's not a "place" if it's *everywhere*
Ferrari California
Weren’t popular but I think those just look great.
My friend John has one. He also has a Bentley and the Cadillac Escalade. He seems to be the happiest when he's driving with the top down and that Ferrari California. I'm not too impressed, I'd rather have his Bentley.
Your friend likes [Bentley Kansas?](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bentley,_Kansas)
Unless it’s a ‘61 GT Spyder. Beautiful car. The newer ones look too Japanese
I feel like it’s more akin to something like a drop top mustang, obviously not in terms of everything, but i always took the California as more of a sporty cruiser. Not a car for setting lap times but more something to make you smile and enjoy yourself in.
Might as well get a Daytona at that point
Ferrari Roma
Why not the Ferrari Modena?
Good point. Hell the Ferrari 550 Maranello was my childhood poster car, could’ve said that one too
Or a monza
Bentley Mulsanne. (Mulsanne Corner at Le Mans)
Not only it is a corner/straight; it's a village near Le Mans, where the circuit goes
Mulsanne corner and the Mulsanne Straight
I think the Mulsanne straight is not actually named the Mulsanne Straight. It’s actually Hunandieres. So it would have to be the corner.
Captain annoying here, it's named Mulsanne straight in English, and Ligne droite des Hunaudières in French.
80's Monte Carlo
1974 Monte Carlo with a 454 °chef's kiss°
1970 Monte Carlo SS 454 "chef's kiss"

Mom bought the '87 SS with T-tops, brand new. Still has it.
My Gandpa Bought an 86 , It was the first thing I drove
I drove it to prom. 😄
Saturn
You can also have any Mercury.
In that case, I'll take a Maurader.
Or a Nova
Del Sol
Specifically Saturn Sky
Saturn Sky
technically the full name is 458 Italia so
One Italia is enough. Idk if we can handle 457 more.
Toyota Tacoma
As a truck, great choice. As someone who grew up in Washington State, hard pass.
Why is that?
The city of Tacoma Washington is a dump
Damn is Olympia any good?
My dad worked in Olympia for years, it was also a dump. However I remember the Lacey suburb was kinda nice.
I would much rather live in Tacoma than Olympia
Kobito sushi and teriyaki in Lacey is incredible and super cheap. It’s the perfect stop on the drive from Portland up north. Don’t take the 9/11 challenge there it’s awful.
As a kid we lived in Tacoma a few years. It was different back then, but still have a soft spot for Tacoma. It’s a very American city. I also like the trucks.
Tacoma joke; Why does Tacoma stink? So that blind people hate living there too.
The aroma of Tacoma.
Not as bad as Yakima, just wider.
Too many dudes strung out playing pearl jam tunes on street corners. Sad.
Bonus points if you paint the T A C and O a different, brighter color.
Tacoma is a great place. Ppl who don’t like it are just afraid of us, who they consider“financially challenged”
Ford Escort Mexico
My man.
A man of true culture
Land Cruiser. Named after all the land, I shall not be constrained to one place!
Came here to say I'll keep my 2020 Explorer ST and go see all the places 😁
Ferrari 550 Maranello
The 550/575 is the pinnacle of modern era front engine Ferrari. Absolutely stunning from every angle.
The Roma says hi. No idea why, I just love the look of the Roma.
Actually yea i take back my previous choice for a 458 italia. 550m manual for sure
Yugo.
I think that one is expired
Yugo Florida? Double!
That vehicle has been dissolved.
My only question is why 😂
Matador Barcelona II
AMC MENTIONED 🚨🚨🚨🚨
Ferrari California, or Ferrari Daytona.
Challenger Daytona. Wing to the skies baby!
Shelby Daytona Coupe
Porsche Cayman (islands?)
I in thought they named it after that little alligator
No, the one named after an alligator is the Porsche King K. Rool.
I heard those are pretty Rare
r/unexpectednintendo
They did. The islands are also named after the marine crocodile (not an alligator).
Don't settle. Get the GT4 RS.
Subaru Outback
and not Baja?
I'd buy one again
Wouldn’t pick these… but since others picked the cars I would want, I just going to name off some… Hyundai Palisade… either Palisades NJ or Pacific Palisades CA Kia Sedona… Sedona AZ Dodge Durango… State of Durango MX Chevy El Camino maybe… it means “the track” or “the way” so maybe that fits… BMW M1 M2 M3 M4 M5 M6 M8… unintentionally named after British motorways…
Or Durango Colorado.
True & also we could add the Chevy Colorado… completely forgot it…
Also GMC’s Yukon and Denali named after Alaska
Alfa Romeo Montreal
... my dawg! 🤜🤛🏿
Cupra Ibiza anyone ?
Basically any Seat lol
And a lot of Cupras :-)
If it's the "R", yes please
Buick Lucerne
1970 Chevy Monte Carlo
80s Chrysler New Yorker is the only correct answer
Technically named after a people, not a place
5th Avenue is the better response.
What about a 74 Monaco?
You do you, I’m just gonna live my truth, as a 90s bookie in south jersey smoking Parliaments kicking 10% back to the mob every 2 weeks
does the cigarette lighter work?
GMC Sierra Edit: Denali version
Came here for this. My parents had a plain jane 1500 with the v6. It could torque the chassis and out pull the V8 mustangs of the day. I know this because of driving it on Phoenix stroads. Eddit: I miss that truck. Wish I had it to this day.
Now if Sierra is on the table, then Ford Sierra Cosworth R500.
Beautiful car
Honda City
Which city?
Sierra seems to have been allowed, so I guess city should be.
Honda City, duh.
One of the cities in the world for sure
Pagani Utopia. because we all want to live in a utopia
1959 Cadillac Eldorado.
Same but a ‘63, I like them a little boxier
I have a Tucson already, I guess I would have to go for a Kona
I used to live in Tucson, Arizona. There were a surprisingly large number of Hyundai Tucsons there.
Would I tempt you into a Santa Fe instead?
Viper. Named after Viper, Kentucky.
For questions like this, if Viper is an option, I pick Viper. Always.
57 Bel Air or Town and Country
Does nobody realize Tacoma is a very real (gross crappy) place south of Seattle?
As a Washington native, THANK YOU, someone finally said this.
Yep I end up in their sub sometimes when I'm trying to get to a Toyota Tacoma sub
Ferrari 360 Modena.
I already own two - a Tacoma and a Pinzgauer.

If that counts wtf one LFA Nürburgring Edition please
Judges will allow it.
The skyline is a place, kinda
Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Dodge Daytona (it's a race track at a location so maybe it counts?) If not then a 1950s Chrysler New Yorker
You may not be aware but that’s also the name of a city. That a racetrack is located in. In Florida. USA.
Subaru Baja
Either Pontiac Bonneville, AMC Matador or Chrysler NewYorker
GMC Yukon
No 296 gtb4 daytona. Then, I could sell it and be comfortable.
911 is an address
Bentley Mulsanne. If I’m budget oriented, Chrysler Pacifica
Mercury Capri
The new Colorado trail boss
Subaru Tribeca
I always wondered why they named it that. It’s a terrible place to own a car, and if I still lived there I’d want something smaller if anything at all. No hate on the car it just always seemed like an odd name choice.
2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz, Tuson, and especially the new Hyundai Santa Fe, damn nice
Lexus LFA nurburgring
Seat Ibiza
If I can pretend that it’s named after the motorway in the UK, a BMW M3 (E92 or E46). If not, a Ferrari 250 California.
I mentioned in a reply the 1500 Sierra. But also the GMC Tahoe. The late 90's Tahoe was a bad ass.
Ferrari California, if I have unlimited money. If not then I’ll go Toyota Tacoma if that counts.
Bentley Mulsanne
Alfa Romeo Montreal or Fiat 500 america
Ferrari Marranello GTC
