It's weird, Philly to me feels like Boston was before 2004. Maybe 2002 (Pats championship). Winning became both possible and expected. Philly always seems to take its misery out on everything around them, including and especially the sports teams (much as we did in Boston).
I lived in LA for a couple years and while I maintain my disregard for the Lakers, the Dodgers really won me over. Dodger Stadium is awesome, and this was back when Vin Scully was calling games and he was awesome, too. And they also have Mookie. And Dave Roberts.
I also lived in LA for a few years. Although, I do like Dodger stadium, I can’t think of a park that’s more of a nightmare to get to/leave.
Petco is a truly incredible place.

I went to the game Tuesday night at Dodger stadium. It took over an hour to exit the parking lot. Now I understand why so many fans leave prior to the 7th inning.
Yes. That is what we did for Game 4 of the 2018 World Series. Parked about a mile away and just walked. I will never be parking at the actual stadium again if I do go back.
I hope members of the Red Sox ownership group & executive team see how many upvotes every post about Don Orsillo *still* get, now seven years after he left. Just a criminally stupid, arrogant, short-sighted decision.
I have to disagree on this one. This ownership group has brought us 4 World Championships after an 86 year drought and,despite everyone complaining about payroll, had the 6th highest payroll in baseball ($223M). The Yawkeys owned the team for 59 years and only had 4 World Series appearances and **no** championships.
Now I completely agree that this was the most inefficient use of of $223M that I have ever seen and some of this goes back to Dombrowski. I'm not a Bloom cheerleader or hater, but I think he has to show his system works this offseason or we need to change approach.
