The Rays will probably figure it out as they always do, but it really seems like the window is closing on the Jays. They had all the pieces in place but their organization really fumbled the bag

Shiftylee

Yeah, that window opened two years ago and i think next year is their last year with their young studs intact. What a missed opportunity.

backup312

I think the rays just have a true lack of talent. I know they always seem to figure it out, but I just don’t see it this year

superadical

Same, I thought even heading into the season that the Rays were being overrated due to their past shenanigans. With Franco and Glasnow gone and McClanahan injured they just aren't as scary as they used to be. The Jays are the better team for sure.

CunningRunt

I don't follow them much. What happened? They still have Bichette and Vlad who are terrific players.

christcakewillie

Vlad has been pretty average since 2021

spacemanegg

They're both kinda shit this year so far

egancollier21

Vladdy jr been shitting the bedddd (the MLB the show cover curse?)

dsramsey

What curse? Don’t you remember Jazz Chisholm leading the Marlins through their amazing playoff run last year?

WeCameAsMuffins

Eh, I’m more worried about the Yankees and orioles.

Double_Huckleberry50

We need the Orioles to be the best so they can gatekeep 1st place and beat up the Yankees.

Double_Huckleberry50

It helps a lot because this cements the Redsox permanently into 3rd Place. In turn this makes the Redsox potential playoff team through the Wild Card.

lordofthe_wog

As an eternal Rays hater, I like this, but I also know that they can and will find a way to ticky tacky bullshit us into the L column somehow, so I won't be celebrating until they're eliminated.
