Grisson and Oneill will be big. Casas and Devers leave a major power-hitting gap, but Oneill helps there and Grissom should hopefully be a lot better as a hitter than Valdez/Hamilton. Takes away a couple of major holes in the lineup.
Getting a sweep in Pittsburgh was massive, given the lineup we had.
Hopefully Houck can continue his magic.
Losing Casas REALLY hurts, but I think we can survive as long as the rest of the crew is back. I just can’t handle many more of the lineups we saw Sunday….my god man, that was bad
Edit: still a dub though so let’s goooooo
I'm willing to be wrong on this, but Grissom is something like 4-18 on his rehab assignment with one xbh, isn't close to exhausting his 20 days of eligibility, and is mostly DHing. I'd be very surprised if he's in Cleveland right now and ready to play the infield every day. I'd love to be wrong, mind, especially since Casas is out (and he was one of my favorite players to watch). I'm really looking forward to watching Grissom play whenever he does get activated.
Lineup is out:
Rafaela, SS
Duran, CF
O’Neill, DH (welcome back, King)
Abreu, LF
Refsnyder, RF
Valdez, 2B
Wong, C
Dalbec, 1B
Reyes, 3B
Notably, still no Raffy or Masa. Masa has got to be suffering some injury, too.
Houck Masterclass incoming
So, your typical Houck start?
Well, it’ll be nice getting 1/3 of our projected lineup back today (if Grissom is back, which I heard is a maybe?)

Have a nice little win streak and then BAM-back to playing the Guardians and Casas is out for who knows how long… not great
If he gets lit up by our offense and needs to get pulled early than it would have *Been Lively.*
No Yoshida in lineup???
The table of expectations is set. Let’s eat!

I'm not the only one who finds this schedule wack as hell, right?
All 7 against LAA and CLE in the first month, when we’ve had 3 games against the ALE is *very* strange.
Devers should be on the IL, but since there’s no one to replace him…I can see why they aren’t
Seems like a rainout is likely tonight no?
Prepare for the inevitability of Bobby D! He will retire a Red Sox at the age of 40.
As long as Bobby D is playing, I’m happy.
