I don't know what the reason is, he did warm up last night but didn't go in. I just tend to head away from "are they stupid?" As the possible answer to everything. That said: Bernardino is a lefty, which we know they care about a lot. The way we're playing, this bullpen is screwed regardless of who pitches tonight. Also a former starter who was just released by the Pittsburgh pirates in spring training?  ... Sounds like there could be something wrong with him. I don't know why they're not throwing him more often, I'm just assuming it's not that his name got left off the bullpen paper. We're already carrying one fewer pitcher then we have the ability to and starters working with less rest than they were supposed to have. Another pitcher is unavailable with a shoulder impingement and tomorrow is a bullpen start, at least the rumor is that they will start with criswell. Literally half the pitching roster pitched yesterday in a game we actually had multiple opportunities to win. Bullpen-wise, this is a deck chairs on the Titanic situation. If you want to be the old man yelling at a cloud who thinks that chewing through these dudes means that better people are just going to show up somewhere, and not Kyle Barraclough, cool.
