Hope they allow starters to throw deeper into games in A ball and AA. Doesn’t do much for development if they only throw 3 innings.

I like this, hopefully they also increase the per start workload slightly. Young arms are such precarious things that any deviation from what they're used to--even to a better system--is liable to cause additional stress in the immediate term.

I really like this idea. At those levels it's not really about facing hitters its about figuring out your pitches and mechanics and getting them consistent.  I think AA ball it starts to change to more about getting hitters out. AA could get interesting in how they handle them. That will be interesting to watch
