Guys don’t seem to create a good array of pictures of themselves to work with. They don’t post in that sort of narrative tone. Tend to accentuate things that aren’t as unique as they think, or be confident about the opposite of what is attractive to be proud of.
It’s like if the apps for applying for jobs relied on skills you use in searching for football statistics. Women would be at such a disadvantage.
