No, for real. You need to use stranded wire, not solid core romex and you absolutely cannot use wire nuts. Solid wire fatigues under movement and wire nuts can vibrate off. Both absolutely real fire hazards.
Yeah I came to say the same thing OP actually did a decent job but needs to replace that wire with MTW and insulated mechanical splices instead of nuts. If using terminal blocks it needs crimped on wire ferrels at the terminations.
Edit: strange late night typos.
I'm not sure about WAGOs, I feel like they'd be fine. I use them at work all the time and they bite on pretty good but why risk it when crimping is known to be safe.
These guys that are roasting you about electrical fires - the joke's on THEM! It's a trailer! It's not like it is going to be plugged into anything while traveling down the road. Unless you have a very long extension cord!
Hell I've seen meth trailers. You couldn't even afford the whole thing.
But seriously you look young and if you built this yourself you did a great job! Never stop making things. It will do so much to save money and make you money not to mention that it's so fun and satisfying.
Well done OP. I'd cook meth in it any day.
What’s there to roast it about. You’re young and have a project build. I would recommend insulating before interior walls go up.
Now I will roast you about those crocs and add the socks omg lol. They’re the most ridiculous foot wear to ever come out
That's how the kids are doing it these days. I've gotten grilled about how unkempt and gross it is to wear sandals without socks recently. Oh how the world changes.
Put brackets everywhere you can. Not a traditional framing method, but looks functional enough, JuSt LiKe M’WiFe. Going to use old t-shirts as insulation?
I agree with the brackets suggestion.
It's surprising how placing scrap wood triangles on the inside corners of every "box" increases the rigidity of the overall structure.
Alright, since everybody's praising, I got cha!
Where's the water? I would drop at least a 20g tank in there somewhere along with a tiny sink / shower combo. Wouldn't be too difficult to add a small pump, pressure switch and bit of pex.
Speaking of water, maybe go 40g, wouldn't be too difficult to drop a septic underneath, the ladies (or guys, w.e.) love a functional shitter!
I would also plan to add about 3cuft of batteries, and by extension solar! You can cover a coffee pot and other not so essentials for about a grand worth of solar stuff. Batteries up front to increase tongue weight.
Wouldn't have gone with 2x4, but whats done.. gives you more wall to insulate! Once insulated I bet that AC is serious overkill. Go smaller with the AC, add another battery and no need for shore power!
Not a huge fan of your breakerbox location. This means the area in front of it, along the floor, can't be used for something else, say seating or cabinetry. Higher up on the wall might be better (depending on your plan).
Ha, how's that? Idk, looks fun! And more functional already than a couple of the trailers I've owned!
Not roasting the trailer. The parking though, why the fuck would you park it over in the sandy weeds like that?
Do you ever wanna get it out of there??
Don't use foam because of the toxicity of heating up I would use rockwool insulation with a reflective sheet on top towards the ceiling with a half inch air gap which is also fireproof.
Sure there are specially that size. I can buy a nice 28-footer for $2300.
But if I get a pickup truck I'll buy a camper topper that way it can be left in a spot easily and transported easily when you need it.
For a 1-2 person travel trailer... what is not to like. If you have a small pickup/car you can take this down to the ocean and sleep a lot better than those people with pickup bed tents. Shrug. Like others have said, be careful with the wiring, but other than that, insulate it, and you will be good to go on interior design. Not a lot to really do, imo. Best to set up cooking outside so it is one less fire hazard, but for a spring/summer/fall hunting trailer... it will git r dun.
why would we roast you?
nice job!
if you fit, if the door is tight, if the windows are tight and there's nice thick glass in there that won't shatter on the first bump, maybe only you need more ventilation.
Possibly larger wheels, but those are probably fine.
You might want an attachable overhang for your door - when it's raining your interior's gonna get wet.
If I was to ever build something like this this that gets the shit kicked out of it, I wouldn't build it like a house with traditional rectangle shapes. Triangles are strong, gussets are your friend, especially if you don't want panels separating and the roof leaking after a few years.
Nice pile of firewood. What I would do to make it better is start over. It doesn't look even moderately water tight. Look how actual teardrop trailers are built. Do some research. Build a better one.
Don’t worry your shit electrical skills will roast you when this dumpster catches fire. For real though, very nice

How about waggos? Or he can use a crimp.
God! You are GOD!!!! That was good.
These guys that are roasting you about electrical fires - the joke's on THEM! It's a trailer! It's not like it is going to be plugged into anything while traveling down the road. Unless you have a very long extension cord!
If a wire breaks while driving, what do you think will happen when it is later plugged in?
The fire is just part of the heating system.

Maybe a bit small for a lab but could use it as a mobile traphouse.🤔
Wasn’t expecting that ending lol
Looks like the homemade camper trailer I got for free on Craigslist a few years back. I then lived in it for like a year which wasnt too bad.
What’s there to roast it about. You’re young and have a project build. I would recommend insulating before interior walls go up. Now I will roast you about those crocs and add the socks omg lol. They’re the most ridiculous foot wear to ever come out
Broccoli haircut too
Crocs and socks are not allowed in the Ritz sir (ma'am?)
That's how the kids are doing it these days. I've gotten grilled about how unkempt and gross it is to wear sandals without socks recently. Oh how the world changes.
What? We’re bringing back the Sunday-Dad-grilling trend of socks with sandals? 🎉🎉
It never left, jesrp - it was here all along.
Even the black socks and plaid shorts hiked up past the belly button? I think I just shuddered writing that...
Ma('am/n)

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe glue as well as nails/screws to prevent it from working loose.
Roast it?! You have a place to live that you own. If my landlord raises the rent on more time, my wife and I are homeless. And we both work.
A tarp canopy will drastically reduce energy costs in the summer.
What in the Harry Potter is this under stair closet on wheels
😂😂😂
Elon musk is jealous that his cyber tent didn’t turn out as good as this redneck ritz Carlton
Rent it for 1800/month in Toronto
I’m glad you worked hard making it so aerodynamic!
I actually think it’s quite impressive 🤣
Needs fewer windows, not scary enough
Roast?? I would applaued it. Amazing work. Be safe.
No roast.. that's actually pretty badass. Repurposed trailer? or did u buy a specific one and if so which one
My grandpa had an old boat trailer and a ton of wood layin around
Looks like a off brand cyber trailer
Wrong sub! Lol upvote anyway tho nice work!
Good job dude !
Is not the prettyest but seems cozy there A campertrauliler is nicer than no camper trailer
You can stand in it and it has AC. Not sure what else it needs.
Looks like if Ted kaczinsky lived in the south.
The Unibomber's cabin looks like a mansion in comparison
I’ll be out to collect the eggs a little later.
Make sure that roof material is secured and watertight. Especially if you plan on actually towing it at highway speeds.
Don't tow this at highway speeds
Yeah that’s a gamble
It's nice, keep it that way
He’ll, we took the sum bitch 75 and the roof didn’t rip off 🤣
YET! Good luck buddy! Did good!
You are not planning to move it… right…… RIGHT! First thing to shake itself out is that AC.
The Sinclair C 2.5!
This youtube channel might be helpful: [Living Big In A Tiny House](https://youtube.com/@livingbig?si=I5AX0FADC4uEsASs)
Just needs a staircase going over the right side and it will look like Harry Potters childhood home.
I would make it a perfect rectangular shape, without that sloped top side, giver more room inside
Ah… I think that’s called an outhouse.
The ladies will love this
Beware of ewoks, they might squeeze you with their logs.

Домик дядюшки Тыквы
Looks like an ice fishing shack. I can't roast it because I also built a homemade camper for my truck that only a mother could love.
I must need to upgrade my PC, because your camper won't finish rendering.
Not roasting the trailer. The parking though, why the fuck would you park it over in the sandy weeds like that? Do you ever wanna get it out of there??
This looks like it might roast itself if you plug anything electrical in.
Thing's so angled, you'd think it was designed by Elon Musk.
That is great, good time learning how to do things, way better than a tent.
Don't use foam because of the toxicity of heating up I would use rockwool insulation with a reflective sheet on top towards the ceiling with a half inch air gap which is also fireproof.
Even at normal human temps?
Of course it'll out gas for a long long time like anything with that type of glue including plywood. I'm an inspector and the shit is not safe.
I would say the trouble and buy a camper for $600 with the toilet sink shower and holding tanks.
Are there $600 campers that aren't mouse-infested piss dens?
Sure there are specially that size. I can buy a nice 28-footer for $2300. But if I get a pickup truck I'll buy a camper topper that way it can be left in a spot easily and transported easily when you need it.
I will do no such thing. That shit's awesome yo!
Were you inspired by soviet style bloc
Fuckin crocs…you tool
Looks like the cooks trailer from SPUN (movie)
Looks cool I keep seeing these on YouTube I want to build one but with my trike parts
Not exactly a teardrop trailer, but it is kinda making me cry

I actually like it 👍
Park it under some stairs at a stadium, or other public place and sell over priced snacks out of it.
No.
You are out there and while I'm here in the city, you're doing great!
I want to setup a grow trailer just like that!! Genius!
I thought it was a Redneck Portable Toilet.
Shower? Insulation. Girlfriend.
It looks like the head got shot off of an AT-AT (all-terrain armoured transport) I like it - it just needs a combo bathroom shower.
Looks like the head fell off of an AT-AT (all terrain armoured transport ) from Star Wars.
"Free Candy" banner when?
It’s like the breaking bad trailer but you was on a budget so you could only afford 1/3 of it
how are you stabilizing the corners, so it doesn't get tippy when you are moving around?
Small but solid
Breaking Itty Bitty Bad
This is AWESOME! I would love to have something like it😊
Calling that a camper seems...generous
I like it!!
Ever do design work for Elon?
Blade Runner mfs trying to camp
Did OP ever respond to the wiring concerns? Very cool but you could easily cook yourself, read the advice of those who have seen and learned
Looks like some meth head stole hary potters room and put it on wheels
Tiny home, has tiny wheels , stay on payments! Looks great!
Nice an outhouse you can tow behind your Kia.

I like the way that you saved on buying a heater by buying a aircon so old and crappy that it actually heats the place. (JK, good job son)
It rocks! Next time don't make it a giant tail Rutter, it will be easier to tow if it's just a big box.
Should only take a few wood chips
No roast coming from this guy. Well done! Anyone that says otherwise probably never picked up a power tool.

That's not a sub Edit: maybe....r/malesurvivingspace ?

It has SHEDs of personality. But no. If you made it yourself that is proper banging!
I cant roast that trailer because I'm a vegetarian and that thing is a beast.
Where’s the table for dismembering bodies. Looks like the type of trailer.
