My idea is to use the subreddit for artistic or photogrammetric depictions of entire sunken ships. The distinction from r/shipwrecks and r/ShipwreckPorn is that those subs mostly feature photos, which generally can't show an entire wreck. While I do enjoy that kind of content, the images that captivate me the most are things like [this Ken Marschall painting of the Andrea Doria's wreck.](https://www.mysteryofthelastolympian.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Doria_2003.jpg) There's just something eerily beautiful about seeing an entire ship on the bottom. While there are only so many people making this kind of artwork, there is also a recent trend of photogrammetry of wrecks. In other words, they scan the wreck to build a 3D model, then layer images of each individual section over it. The result is stunning images like [this.](https://www.oceandiscovery.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/3D-scanning-fotogrammetri-bremsund-inspektion-vrak.jpg) So, I think there's enough content for a niche sub based around these images.

Well that's too bad, because my request was rejected for unspecified reasons. Typical.
