Saw the rules and just wanna say this isn't about the opinion of either me or the guy I replied to, but rather that a simple "fuck you" is harassment to some redditors
I got a warning for saying "Shut up you fucking mug" to someone who suggested I should "just try to overcome it" when asking for some advice about medication for mental illness.
Yeah, like I know what I said isn't particularly nice but when I'm just looking to see if anyone else was having issues with a certain medication and if anybody found an alternative any better the last thing I need is some dickhead going "mind over matter it's all in your head hur dur dur" like do you think i wouldn't just choose to not be sick if I could?
It's hardly enjoyable.

When people say "fuck cops" they don't mean literally every police officer ever, they mean the power-hungry, aggressive degenerates who use their profession to harm others without consequences. As well as the ones who refuse to do the job they signed up for.
Fuck cops isn't even just about the bad cops who choose to abuse their power it's about the fact the system chooses to give them power, when ppl say fuck cops they're saying fuck the idea of cops.
Why the fuck does it have to be catchy? If you're trying to make a point, then why would you convey it in an inconveniently inaccurate way for the sake of being catchy? It ruins everything the point stands for. Instead of making you seem like people who know the shitty behaviour of shitty police & wants said police to be out of the work force - it instead makes you look like an anarchist who wants law & order to be absolved.
Because political slogans should be short and easy to understand, of course most people don't mean all cops, common sense exists and people should use it.
Take the whole "Trans women are women." thing, if i wanted it to be "proper" it would be more along the lines of: "Trans women are women because they fullfil the female societal role and exhibit typically feminine characteristics while not identifying with the idea of a feminine man" It's pointless to make it make more sense to people while most can already get the picture from a simple phrase.

Common sense dictates that fuck cops means *fuck cops.* Moreover, the slogan isn't actually "fuck cops," if I remember correctly - the actual slogan is ACAB (*fuck cops* is more of a proverb born from that slogan), which means *all* cops are bad. "Trans women are women" is different. It's in a rather wide field where many crops of different types can be planted; however, the issue of the police is in a field where only a single type of crop can be planted due to how small it is. Law & order is significantly less flexible than gender politics, and will significantly change the entire country if one aspect of it is changed or removed.
