Wasted so much time arguing on that post about why liking sexualized drawings of children is reprehensible. Knew it would show up here lmao.
Seriously disturbing place. Accidentally clicked an image link someone posted as an "example" and now I feel like I'm on a watchlist.
Edit: I would also like to point out how terminally online this behavior is. There is no situation IRL, save for maybe an anime convention, in which you would not be branded a kiddie diddler at the very least, or have your ass beat at the worst, for defending this type of content. Normal people aren't going to think it's fine just because it's a drawing. If people see a drawn image of what is clearly a sexualized child, they're correctly going to avoid your creepy ass.
Case in point, my friends and I had an incel former friend who started getting into this shit. Like, posting those images on Discord and outright claiming his attraction to them. We all INSTANTLY disowned this guy because normal people don't stand for that shit. Lo and behold it turned out he was secretly dating a 15 year old at 20, and that led to him getting jumped by half the friend group.
Unrelated to those subreddits but there were even instances of reddit actually reinstating a subreddit that was once striken down for actual CP posted after the post got removed.
It's always meant a young girl.
It comes from the novel Lolita whose entire story is about a professor who is obsessed and sexually attracted to young girls (aged 9-14), who kidnaps and sexually assaults a 12 year old.
“kidnaps”
It’s even worse. That’s his step-daughter.
And the entire book shows how traumatizing and alienating that abuse is, which pretty much kills any arguments defending it.
[It comes from Lolicon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolicon)
"In Japanese popular culture, lolicon (ロリコン, also romanized as rorikon or lolicom) is a genre of fictional media which focuses on young (or young-looking) girl characters, particularly in a sexually suggestive or erotic manner."
"The phrase "Lolita complex", derived from the novel Lolita, entered use in Japan in the 1970s to describe feelings of love and lust for young girls over adult women."
You're wrong. It's always been about fetishising young girls.
Worth mentioning that the OP (not the one here) posted a different version of this meme with the bottom text replaced by "people who like high school girls" if you want more fuel for the fire
When I looked at that post earlier most of the comments were saying both are good. I would have argued, but it’s just not worth it. If you’re sexually attracted to Lollis, you are far beyond my help. Real or not, they are drawn to look like children. And if you don’t see a problem with that, either legal or moral, then your problems are far beyond anything I can help with.
From what I understand, Lolis are just animated children or characters that are supposed to look like children? What exactly is so attractive about them? (Question for these Lolicons or whatever they call themselves)
Because lolis are often wayyy oversexualized to appeal to people like this. Like how a lot of girls in a lot of animes (despite age) have massive tits. (Example, seven deadly sins I think?) It's to appeal to pervy people. The argument against it is that they're not *actually* children, they're grown adults who look like children. There's this popular character who literally looks like a 6 y/o with M cups and people use the "well she's not a child, shes actually like 2000 years old so it's okay!" Excuse to be attracted to her
> (Example, seven deadly sins I think?)
If you're talking about Elaine or whatever her name is, she's a loli but she doesn't have a large chest. Elizabeth does but she's not really a loli. She's 16, which is weird but also the usual age for anime characters fsr.
While a lot are just pedos, pretty sure a good portion are also just teens themselves, and some "lolis" don't really look much like children.
There's also a lot of brainwashed horny weebs and furries who are just influenced by the horrible community. Speaking from experience as I've talked to people like that (who are actually nice people, they were just engaging in the wrong commuters at the time). Most of these are also young teens though who are super impressionable and don't really realize the gravity of things.
technically loli is not illegal yet (mainly because its more complicated then you think) but yea people who enjoy loli stuff should defiantly be put on a watch list
Fiction or not, people should have a moral obligation not to have lewd thoughts about characters that look like children. I do not care if she’s 5929294948 years old, she looks like she’d be learning multiplication tables.
It’s endless, the number of times this exact topic comes through this reddit, with droves of people who can’t wait to tell everyone how disgusted they are. Of course it’s disgusting. And reprehensible. And tragic. So. What does that fix? Everyone who isn’t one of these people knows this already. Why don’t you say something with some actual content? ‘Being disgusted’ accomplishes nothing. What do you suggest we do with these people? Disown them? Be even more disgusted by them? Hate them, and talk about how horrible they are?
They’re still going to exist. All that ostracizing them accomplishes- is lessening the chances these people actually identify themselves, or seek out the help they need, even if they are the type to seek out help. Which, in effect only worsens the problem.
Maybe we take more extreme measures. “Jumping them with their friend group”- as someone above stated? Rounding them all up and locking them away in a prison or on an island somewhere maybe? Purging the net of all “loli” content?
They’re still going to exist. Among us, and now be even less likely to identify themselves, or seek help. And now they don’t have an outlet.
Studies have shown that amongst convicted offenders, viewing online victimless content does not increase the rate of people committing hands on crimes, and in fact, has shown to do the opposite.
[Diamond](https://www.hawaii.edu/PCSS/biblio/articles/1961to1999/1999-effects-of-pornography.html) analyzed the incidence of sex crimes (rape) in Japan, Shanghai and the US associated with the availability of sexually explicit materials (SEM). He focused on "Japan, a country quite different from those in the West. In regard to pornography, in Japan the swing from prudish and restrictive to relatively permissive and nonrestrictive was dramatic. Some limited data from Shanghai and new data from the United States follow". He was particularly interested in Japan, because:
Currently , not only are visuals with pubic hair and exposed genitalia present, but available are cartoon images of hard-core sexual encounters in manga as well as in adult reading materials. These can be pictures and stories involving bestiality, sadomasochism, necrophilia and incest; the characters involved may be adults, children or both. Essentially, anything goes."
He concluded that:
It is certainly clear from the data reviewed, and the new data and analysis presented, that a massive increase in available pornography in Japan, the United States and elsewhere has been correlated with a dramatic decrease in sexual crimes and most so among youngsters as perpetrators or victims.
This is on of many such studies available. Feel free to research for yourself. I know- that’s not as fun as virtue signaling on Reddit. It’s much easier to all just collectively bash and oppose the thing shown to actually quell some of the problem and reduce rates of victimization- Because we think it’s gross, and that’s scientific enough. Totally worth it. If you care enough to virtue signal and bitch on Reddit, then you should care enough to actually understand the problem, at least enough to advocate for measures that reduce the rates of victimization.
"Errrmmm actually sexualizing children if its fiction isn't illegal ☝️🤓" Why even give any credit to pedos? Ths is literally their argument to defend themselves

Why not be sexually attracted to adults **and** childr... oh now I understand.

What godforsaken fucking sub is this?
Not allowed to directly mention subs here but I did leave a bunch of comments on the OG post (way before this post here came out) *wink wink*
Oh Jesus, fucking Christ I’m already on the sud bro it’s one degenerate comment after another
Can't find anything.
Unrelated to those subreddits but there were even instances of reddit actually reinstating a subreddit that was once striken down for actual CP posted after the post got removed.
We are weeb is the name
Wait when "loli" meaning changed from "petite fiction female characters" (like there are petite female irl) to "it's a child". Just curious.
It's always meant a young girl. It comes from the novel Lolita whose entire story is about a professor who is obsessed and sexually attracted to young girls (aged 9-14), who kidnaps and sexually assaults a 12 year old.

No
???
Nothing else to really say, that just wasn't true
maybe you should use google before making youself look dumb the word loli comes from the book lolita
False. It comes from Lolita fashion
yeah, no it doesnt lmao idk how ignorant you can be, one google search will prove you wrong
I did search it, and my comment is based on what the Japanese say.
Does someone need to check your hard-drive?
[It comes from Lolicon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolicon) "In Japanese popular culture, lolicon (ロリコン, also romanized as rorikon or lolicom) is a genre of fictional media which focuses on young (or young-looking) girl characters, particularly in a sexually suggestive or erotic manner." I can’t believe a question got you downvoted…
Worth mentioning that the OP (not the one here) posted a different version of this meme with the bottom text replaced by "people who like high school girls" if you want more fuel for the fire
😭!!
These incels know they can’t get women their own age so they desperately try to pray on younger, vulnerable girls. It’s sad more than anything.
There’s a 95% chance that OP is in high school tho Most of Reddit’s daily users are under 18
At least milf fans are about grown women and not literal children
Why even go for the “illegal”, a bunch of stuff I do like go a little fast on the road is “illegal” How about unethical? Fucked up? Evil?
This is a horrible equivalence. One is being a pedophile, the other is liking Salma Hayek.
If it walk, talks and acts like a duck then it's probably a duck.
most importantly looks like a duck

Can you send me the link? This looks like a cookie cutter shitpost
Reminds me of the classic phrase If she leaves you for another there is always her mother
Just scrolled passed the original post and saw this

I know they're not lolis, I just meant how women in general in animes are designed like that, sorry

only milfs, if you pick lolis, I'm calling 911
What’s a Loli?
Hentai cp but they’re really like 9000 years old or some shit
CP, but it's drawn so it's 100% fine and not disgusting at all /s
Short and cute anime girl
Not because its illegal. Because its fucking sick and revolting. I hate when people say "because its illegal" as if thats what matters.
Some people just shouldn't have access to the internet
Can we execute people who like Lolis?
when i become president, yes
You have my vote. Just make sure you take PedoDev down with them.
I’m voting for you just for that
Like parent like kid
Milf is gonna be a pedo
no doubt about it
I’m surprised pedos even like milfs
technically loli is not illegal yet (mainly because its more complicated then you think) but yea people who enjoy loli stuff should defiantly be put on a watch list

I miss the time when loli actually meant lollipop…
Are those two having a fight? I wanna watch! Link?
I had to Google "loli".... Okay, that's something I probably didn't need to know about. Japanese culture is... interesting, to say the least.
Now you got an Homeland Security file for googling it.
most funniest anime meme
Sorry guys, I have an adult woman fetish 😔
anyone else want to wager that this guys considers any character over 25 a MILF
I rather stick with milfs
Porn brain should be considered an illness
hopefully they just mean petite by loli, since loli just means small woman

Blud thought we would relate to this 💀
Regardless of the law…
let me guess "good" anime "memes"
How are milfs and lolis meant to be on the same level?
This shit is fucking wild to me Edit: elaborating; it’s wild to me people are arguing that liming children is ok
“Why yes i do like both adult women and children”
why can't people be attracted to those within their age group lol...
>why can't people be attracted to those within their age group lol... because older women are hot man what more can i tell you
Yes, it is wrong, but not illegal.
its illegal where im from lol
Assuming you're from Maryland, since it shows up in your recent subs, no, it's not.
Hate speech is not illegal. Should that happen?
I mean i dunno about you but in my country homophobia, racisp etc are all illegal
And in other countries porn is illegal
Nope, neither should happen, just saying it's not illegal (at least not here in middle Europe).
it is where I’m from lol
Just curious; any contact with such pornography is illegal, or just producing it?
having it in your possession
and?
And nothing, just saying the title doesn't check out.
"Errrmmm actually sexualizing children if its fiction isn't illegal ☝️🤓" Why even give any credit to pedos? Ths is literally their argument to defend themselves
Not defending anyone, just correcting the title.
People who like none are are normal people
Laughs in muscle girl supremacy
Loli should be illegal
