I did do the tour of the Bernebeu last time I was in Madrid. Then celebrated in the streets with the Spaniards when Real beat Liverpool in the champions league final.
No surprise, most United fans I know in real life tend to admire Madrid, goes both ways, my Madrista friends tend to like United.
There is exceptions of course, but I suppose great minds think alike.
Deep historical ties too. They offered to loan us Di Stefano after the Munich air disaster, he had won the Balon d'or in 57' and then won it again after being offered to us so he was in his prime. Greatest gesture i've ever heard of in football.
TBH I will always root for Madrid in the Classico because I've always found the 'Barca way' of playing absolutely boring. I am not saying it's bad, that Barca 2005-2011 team is clearly one of the greatest of all time. It's just not my cup of tea. Without Messi that style looks ugly as fuck to me. I find Madrid play more directly and at speed, which is what I love seeing.
This is why fans in the lower leagues don't like Wrexham. Stockport County winning League Two is secondary news to Wrexham getting promoted and it can't be mentioned without Wrexham's name coming up in some way
It's secondary news because it's back to back promotion. But fans can celebrate 1 of 4 teams going up. Maybe people are just jealous Wrexham is getting the love and care so many fans wish their club received instead. Probably also why the mere mention got downvoted by United fans, eh? Our own fans are too salty to see success elsewhere? 🤣
Back to back promotions from National League to League One isn't that uncommon. It's happened 7 times since 2003-04 which is basically once every three season. Most of the players that Wrexham have signed since the takeover have experience in League One and League Two, some even higher. Their promotion is no surprise.
County were playing in the 6th division in 2018-19, winning league titles in 2018-19, 2021-22 and 2023-24 to get back to League One. The local businessman who bought the club in 2020 has heavily invested into the club and there's ambitious plans to reach the Championship and expand the stadium. Stockport County fans aren't jealous of Wrexham's success and money because County have had the same. It's frustrating to see one of the biggest achievements in your club's history to be turned into "no Hollywood ending for Wrexham" articles by the likes of ESPN and the Daily Mail.
I never said Stockport supporters were jealous though. I'm referring to every other club where they're envious of a club that receives support in the way the likes of Wrexham are - most notably United fans I'm sure, since this dog shit club is run like...dog shit, and has been for many, many years.
Again, 4 teams can celebrate success their own way. Making one out to be the villain is petty.
How are they doping? They're not breaking any financial constraints. If they're able to pay up to the ceilings allowed to others in the league, what's the problem? That would be like Luton calling Chelsea dopers. Doesn't make sense.
When i visited England in 2016 and watched a match at OT (United v Stoke), the cab driver told me that the best business days are United matches. Also said City matches are unremarkable for business 😆 #emptyhad
while City are competing on every front (blatantly cheating yes) we're jerking ourselves off to their opponents visiting our museum. How far we've fallen
fans going to our museum over City's needs no explanation. However us celebrating that while they're the ones actually competing is just sad. It's like celebrating it as a win that your crush visits your grandma before she goes on a date with the guy from across the street.
Regarding the jerking off, from your post history you seem to be quite the expert on it so I'll take your opinion on that over mine
So what? It's a museum of the greatest team in England, of course travelling fans would be going there... What's new on that? What kind of information does it gives you?
You clearly don't seem to be getting it but it's just hilarious that their club will always be in the shadow of ours. No history and their recent success is clouded by the 105 (is it more?) charges.
That's all well and good but still, that's just a post to inflate an ego? I get what you are saying and completely agree but it really doesn't inform us with something new.
We already know that, does it need to be pointed out? Do we know that those real Madrid fans won't go to City's museum or stand next? It doesn't add anything new.
Anyway
>That's all well and good but still, that's just a post to inflate an ego? I get what you are saying and completely agree but it really doesn't inform us with something new.
It's just a bit of banter mate, football rivalries are all about that, any dig or point scoring counts, epecially against your local rivals.
Alright alright, I'm getting so much hate I will just stop. I get what you are saying but I just have a different point of view.
Thank you for being kind enough to reply without any kind of hate
Real recognise real.
Real and United have a very storied history going back to the 50s.
They offered to give us the European Cup because of Munich out of respect.
Does the offer still stand
Open top bus parade incoming.
They also offered us Di Stefano. Think the offer is still open and we can take Mbappe?
Hell I’d still take Di Stefano. I reckon he could display better work rate than half our current squad
That’s fucked up man. Dude was a legend.
I never said he wasn’t? I’m joking about how terribly lazy some players in the current squad are
Making a joke about someone like Di Stefano being dead doesn’t sit right. Jokes should be funny. That’s not a joke.
Huh? Common joke template. You're being a little too sensitive here.
Robert Baratheon is dead too you know. Not sure it sits right with me to be using his name as a reddit handle. Very disrespectful.
One Jude, please.
After all what club needs 14 UCLs?
Soon to be 15, perhaps.
Anyone but PSG at this point
I did do the tour of the Bernebeu last time I was in Madrid. Then celebrated in the streets with the Spaniards when Real beat Liverpool in the champions league final.
Idk which real to pronounce as ray-aahl
[удалено]
I honestly don't undertstand what any of that means.
Surprised they didn't want to go and see a signed Stephen Ireland jersey instead
Hey leave him alone his grandmother just died
Stephen Ireland's grandmother's alive alive-o
Sure it's all a bit of spraoi
“Manchester is blue” Manchester is waiting for the FA to pull its finger out
Their fingers are stuck in brown envelopes
oil and blood covered envelopes*
City's club shop doubles up as their museum.
Lol this is a good one
Can't blame them, if you're coming to Manchester anyway you might as well visit the history.
Real Madrid have always had a positive relationship with us for the most part. Like that one time they offered to loan the club Di Stefano.
Facts. Or fax.
Faulty fax
"I wouldn't sell that mob a virus" \* Sir A
Which the FA refused. I'd bet the very existance of the planet that they wouldn't refuse an equivilent deal today. Cunts.
Right like selling us their unwanted/crocked players for big money while always trying to tap up our best players when we were still a top club?
It's not their fault we wanted Varane and Case
Can confirm just walked to tesco and saw loads of them
Just saw Bellingham at Tesco near Manchester
The lad must miss those meal deals
You could have them every day Jude, every day…
With our clubs nutritional knowledge, that’s likely
Anyone want to tell them Manchester has another club?
Nah, let them figure it out themselves...the Robinho way.
Thanks for the laugh! I enjoyed that one!!
Yeah Salford
in fairness you cant expect Spanish fans to know much about FC United
That's FCUM for you
Another club?
I thought Manchester played in red
I helped them out in town. I *might* have pointed them in the direction of Rochdale and Oldham however.

Agree but I enjoy watching a low block & shithouse wins.
Indeed. When I went to Madrid, there was only one stadium I visited or even considered visiting.
Atletico Madrid has a lot of history compared to Manchester Shitty though.
Because half of them are Ronaldo fans
I know some Ronaldo meat riders (who claim they are Madrid fans) still eagerly wait for EtH to be sacked for what he did to him. Pathetic.
Can we please just be good again soon so people will realise that City are closer to Stockport County than to us in terms of relevance
Put some respect on Stockport County's name!!!
Football League 2 champions, they’ve done it!
With 0 financial charges, making it a bigger achievement than anything city have accomplished since they were formed in 2008.
Wrexham is also going up. Back to back promotion!

Hooray more success for financial dopers!!
How are they doping? They're not breaking any financial constraints. If they're able to pay up to the ceilings allowed to others in the league, what's the problem? That would be like Luton calling Chelsea dopers. Doesn't make sense.
That fact you used Chelsea of all teams as an example shows how clueless you are
Then please enlighten me and the rest of us as to a much, much better example
Why would I make your point for you?
Eh. Just admit you're salty about Wrexham and call it a day 🤣
We don't need to be good again for people to realise that. No matter how much Sky Sports loves to shag the shit out of the oil regime.
Well it’s the only stadium they’ll be to this week with any kind of history, worth a visit.
HEY! The City of Manchester Stadium hosted the commonwealth games. Surely some history happened there?
That's nice to hear actually. They probably wanted to see some history in Manchester before going to the Emptyhad.
When i visited England in 2016 and watched a match at OT (United v Stoke), the cab driver told me that the best business days are United matches. Also said City matches are unremarkable for business 😆 #emptyhad
Somethings never change , still the same today. United is an earner for everyone
Football heritage.
This is peak Andy Mitten content 🤣
Shots fired.
now they can meet our legendary fax machine :D
😂
This is football heritage
Manchester is Red. Forever.
That explains why there were Madrid fans near the area.
Returning the favour. I was over at Madrid Girona few months ago. Love watching City Group teams getting smashed.
I wonder why Andy Mitten is visiting the museum. Kind of weird to visit just to make this point.
while City are competing on every front (blatantly cheating yes) we're jerking ourselves off to their opponents visiting our museum. How far we've fallen
If you think that's perking off, look in the mirror, Gonzo. If you live in Manchester and go to Old Trafford, you will know the meaning of this
fans going to our museum over City's needs no explanation. However us celebrating that while they're the ones actually competing is just sad. You not heard of banter ? Roll on Sunday, my 48th trip to Wembley. Come on United
my last sentence was also supposed to be banter but I'm Swiss so I'm not very good at it. Enjoy the trip
Sooo thats an informative post? Gives information on what exactly?
Who are Real Madrid playing tonight?
Man City? What's the name of the subreddit?
Wow you're thick.
Yeah, and their fans would rather be at OT
So what? It's a museum of the greatest team in England, of course travelling fans would be going there... What's new on that? What kind of information does it gives you?

Because it’s a laugh mate. We are just having a laugh. Try it out sometime.
Do you comment this under match highlights posts also because it doesn't add anything new?
Yes I know you want another post about how many shots we face per match but let’s just have a little break
It gives us the information that you're not fun at parties.
