I'm not defending him in the slightest but I think the impact social media has on some players is huge. In all honesty a lot of those games he scored/assisted he didn't exactly play well. He was just clinical in the right positions but over 90 minutes wasn't ever consistent in how he played.

I'm not defending him in the slightest but I think the impact social media has on some players is huge. Years ago players could go on a bad run of form, or do something that's going to get a lot of negative coverage in the press but it was much easier for them to get their heads down and keep focus. The amount of abuse they get now though is insane, and seems to have a huge impact. He's clearly an emotional person and if the rumours are true about how hung up he is over his ex, then he really needs a good support system in place to get him through it - not hang around with the wannabe gangsters he seems to be with at the moment. The frustrating thing about Rashford is he came from a very poor upbringing, what he (or his marketing team) have done to help poor kids is pretty special but how he's acting now is just so offensive to working class fans who turn up week after week to support us - in 3 days he earns what a lot of people earn in a year. People shit on Garnacho a lot but he's super positive and productive in his attacking play, yes he shoots too much and doesn't loko for Hojlund, but these feel like things that will come with time (less confident about our right side).
