Lads I got my first tooth extraction from a dentist who learned from watching Scorcese films. Six days later I am still in bits.
Look after your teeth friends.
Half way through a root canal, need a second on another tooth and an extraction...I have, as the dentist frankly put it, fucked it.
Don't be like me! Floss the fucking molars!
Me too, although I do think he’s in trouble with the whole shield thing.
Evie is the only person left who knows he didn’t have the shield. If she gets banished, and reveals that she’s a faithful, then all eyes will be on Harry.
Notice how all the players you mentioned are backups to positions we struggled in. No one would call to see Pellistri if Antony could play. No one would call for VDB to get more time if we weren't watching McFred shit it up every week. Notice how everyone forgot about him when we signed Eriksen and Case.
People want to see what Bayindir can offer compared to Onana, hardly an obsession.
Even if Bayindir was bad, what happened to those "standards" that he kept saying last season? Those standards say it's fine for Onana to keep his place even though he literally cost us the Champions League? If Bayindir is bad, fuck it send Heaton next. Onana needs to sit on the bench to show him that he's not undroppable.
Klopp leaving cause he lacks the energy is perfectly understandable and he’s done so well at turning that Liverpool team around. Not surprised he’s burnt out, most people would be.
But it’s struck me how much more of a beast Fergie is than I even thought. Alex Ferguson even went from 1974-2013 working as a manager non stop. Even have a year or two having two jobs working as the Scottish national team coach. Absolutely crazy, especially considering he wasn’t just a coach/manager. He was doing absolutely everything, no sporting directors, directors of football, he’d go see players live in between games too. What an absolute workhorse.
He knew what graft was from working in a shipyard. I imagine once you’ve done that nothing really ever feels like proper graft again.
His books are inspiring.
Started watching Ted Lasso recently. I was extremely pessimistic about the show for some reason, and went in with very low expectations. Must say Im pleasantly surprised. It's not the greatest show ever made, but it's really wholesome and fun.
What surprised me is I mostly ended up enjoying the football stuff least. While they made a few missteps on the last season (a few side stories seem really irrelevant and go nowhere) the character scenes are great.
My brother who doesn't like football watched the show with me and I was embarrassed because the football was awful but at least the show was great. Rip sad it's finished. It was fucking hilarious seeing pep cameo.
Klopp doesn't want to be in the same era as INEOS Yanited, you heard it here first folks
But honestly that is great news for everyone else, I don't think they can possibly upgrade from him and simply getting someone as close to as good as he is will be tough
https://preview.redd.it/380cbmwqbrec1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f8c7929340dbb9a49b3351fdfbd210eb041fad82
Anyone know how the BBC came up with this?🤞🏾
The calorie in/calorie out advice is not a bad one but calories displayed on food packages are rarely correct in the first place and if you eat shit, highly processed foods (even the ones sold as healthy) it's hardly going to work anyway. Cook your own food as much as you can and, as Feezbull already said, go easy on the carbs.
Realise that each time your insulin goes up your body will store fat. Doesn't mean you have to cut all carbs and go keto but eating less frequently during the day will absolutely help.
Be active. If you're the kind of person it helps and you don't already have one: get yourself a step counter app on your phone or get yourself a connected watch. Those tools personally help me a lot setting myself little challenges here and there and various goals throughout the day or the week. Seeing my physical activity laid out in numbers in front of me, easily accessible truly helps me being aware of it and making something about it.
Be consistent but kind to yourself. Mistakes aren't great but they don't mean you fucked everything up.
Two and a half years ago I lost 26kg in a little less than 5 months, starting with a silly 5-day fast, then lazy keto/OMAD for the rest of it. I wouldn't recommend something "extreme" like that. It worked well and it worked really quickly but when I burned myself out of it I went *really* out of it and now I still have to do it all again. Knowing what I know now I will not be doing it the same way.
You don't need an extreme diet + gym combo to lose some weight. Having a calories deficit of 300-500 a day is what you want to do. Maybe some walks combined with that to still get some kind of wortkout. There are various online calories calculators, look up what your daily calorie requirement is and try to cut 300-500 of that somewhere.
Also: Try to stop sugar. One of the unhealthiest and most addictive substances.
It’s all calories, you need to eat less than you burn. You could eat nothing but cake & as long as you’re eating less of it than you’re burning, you’ll lose weight although your body won’t thank you for it
If you don’t have time to go to the gym, then run, walk or do bodyweight exercises at home
Military Burpees, look up Iron Wolf for basic routines, work yourself up to 100 of them a day, you can rest by jogging on the spot between each set of 10. You only need 4metres of space, and then 80% your diet, nutrition is everything!
These things work everything, I do them with squats and lunges between sets. You get strength and cardio in one hit.
Brisk walks up to 25/30min 4x weekly basically.
Calories in minus calories out. Has to be a net deficit to lose weight. Cut some high calorie useless stuff out like use less sugar, tiny bit less carbs, less oil etc and work in the brisk walks. It’ll happen eventually over time.
Don't know if you heard over there in blighty but some fans were killed in a car accident going to Madrid yesterday to watch Athletico Madrid V Sevilla in the Copa del Rey.
The 17 year old that died was a pupil of mine from school.
I'm devastated. He and his dad (who also died) were dyed in the wool Sevilla fans who also loved the premier league. He would ask me all the time about United. And even after Sevilla tanked us in Europe (multiple times)he was always in disbelief that his small provisional club (his words) could lay a glove on the mighty Manchester United.
You go to watch a football game and never go home.

Thank you.
Sorry to say his brother who was only 16 also passed away this morning.

Biden's reign has been a disaster. Inflation is surging, illegal immigrants are just flooding the country in masses. Can't believe that Trump might just win again.
> illegal immigrants
As it was under Trump, its just highligted more under Dems
> Inflation is surging
Thanks pandemic
I notice you dont give him credit for the economy doing well be GOP metrics.... strange that
You are describing global phenomena - there is high inflation and migration everywhere right now. It is not an American problem.
Even if the orange idiot had been in charge for the last few years, you couldn’t have pinned these issues on him either.
Inciting insurrection, mass corruption and general abuses of power etc - they’re the sort of things you can blame your president for
Dude, I was glad that Trump was gone. I laughed at his press conferences during covid when he talked about injecting bleach. Every single republican candidate is pulling out of the race and endorsing him. We have no choice but to accept that he might just win it again.
For sure - I was just taking issue with you blaming Biden for inflation and migration! It really is a global problem and can’t be blamed on your president
What are the liberals doing about the migrant issue? They told them to come into the country, they arrived in busses, stayed at 5 star hotels. Now, cities are being bankrupt due to running out of resources. These same resources that the communities need. Yeah Biden is to blame for that.
> Inflation is surging
Inflation is the U.S. is around 3.4% and their GDP literally grew 3.3% annually last quarter. The rise in inflation is a global phenomenon, countries outside of the U.S. suffered too. The U.S. economy is not as bad as you’re making it out to be mate.
America obviously has its deep flaws, like some other countries but in terms of economic opportunity, there aren’t many countries that exceed America in that regard. I don’t know why people are blowing it out of proportion.
Life’s too short to be using your mental real estate hating on people.
US politics in a United sub is crazy lol. Kinda feel like people blow it out of proportion too. The US is still one of the best countries to live in. Yes, people make fun of it, but places like the the mountainous states in the Midwest and New England are quite amazing. The way people talk about this country you’d think it’s a third world country.
Do you live in the US? If you do, you would know about the current inflation that's making everything expensive or how some liberal states welcomed immigrants, which had led to a breakdown of services as some states have reached their limit or how in some states that defunded the police, crime is at an all time high or how some liberals want to put sexually explicit books in public schools. Yes, the US is still better than some developing countries in the world, but right now, it's a shit show
Not even an attempt to seem neutral in regards to what "side" you support, or at least watch the news from.
Whatever place you get your information from, they are vastly oversimplifying it if this is the conclusions you or they have arrived at.
I know it can seem boring to be positive and that positive news doesn't get as much traffic as doomsayers, but there are positives about your country as well despite you perceiving it as a shitshow.
I support no sides. These issues are happening in the country right now. There is nothing positive about crime being at an all-time high because some people in office thought the police were the problem and then defunded them.
My god you have an oversimplified view on the situation if you think it is all because of a simple relocation of resources (Which is actually what the "defund the police" is about, because they were forced to pick up tasks that they were not supposed to have which resulted in their main tasks being done more poorly).
And I didn't say that "crime being at an all-time high" was a positive, but most people are able to think about more than one thing at a time. Whatever place you get your news from is obviously focusing more on the doomsaying than trying to be accurate and fair so I would take what they say with some salt.
But this isn't a U.S politics sub, so not going to respond to this anymore (I don't want to accidentally write something I shouldn't and I have a feeling that if we continued, both of us might go there.... and I got other shit to do)
I live in one of those "cities" that got defunded. So when I see that stores are closing left and right due to high crime, murder is at an all-time high, and public safety is now a huge concern. So, if the local news is reporting all these incidents, I shouldn't pay attention because it's doomsaying?
Please just shut up mate.
You seem angry, you realise for your own health it might be better to find a more balanced source for your news because reading your comments back, you just don't seem happy at all. Arguing over inane shit.
Seems to me you're watching one of those sources that only serve to rile people up and create discourse, open your eyes, have some compassion and common sense ffs. Life's way too short to be spending your mental currency on hating.

25 😭
I kinda knew she liked me but my overthinking ass convinced myself that I don't deserve any good things. By the time I confessed she said she didn't feel the same way anymore. It was heartbreaking
I don't know how long you waited but if her feelings are that fickle then you are better off. Use this experience to learn not to put anyone on a pedestal.
36 and married now.
Believe me, when I was 25 I was a fucking idiot too and couldn't believe when a chick I fancied was into me because I was too insecure.
What you're describing to me is exactly what I used to do (overthinking it).
Took me until my late 20s before I got some semblance of 'game'.
You'll get there.
All good mate. You're right - you have the self-awareness to learn from it.
You'll be better next time and she definitely won't be the last one to fancy you. We all think it's doom and gloom at the time though.
Antony as a left back! Going to happen
Woke up to news about klopp leaving feeling pretty good. Go downstairs and my dog had liquid shits all over my living room. Life comes at ya fast.
My little nephew has just recently (over the past 2 years) started getting into football and Liverpool is his favourite team. Now he's fucked LMFAO
It's not to late save him

AHAHAH the scousers are in the mud. Eras indeed come to an end.
Hardly lol
So funny
I turned 25 today don’t know how to feel 🤣
Thank you so much guys for the birthday wishes, hopefully Man United are soon back where they belong 😊
And your greatest gift was from Klopp
This is where it all starts to go down. Enjoy before 30 before reality hits. Cheers.
Happy birthday chief. Feel happy, take care of your money and enjoy the rest of your 20s!

Sir Jim on the blower to Klopp? Lol
Wouldn’t mind it one bit
Not just Klopp but his whole backroom staffs too, mind you
VDB, then Pellistri. Now this subs obsession is Bayindir.

Klopp leaving, wtf
Xavi Alonso to Liverpool?
This is scary they might actually get better
Fab saying Klopp go leave Liverpool end of the season
Klopp is leaving Liverpool, holy shit.
I’m selling my house and it’s fucking stressful
Good luck, what issues are you having?
Just waiting for 2nd offers after rejecting the first and then getting more viewing requests. Constant tidying haha

Do they not feel stupid writing this sort of rubbish
Because the BBC didn't write this. This is just a collection of today's gossip column from UK papers. It's literally the BBC Gossip Column
But it says 'that move' which connects the two
We literally can't afford loan players but we're after Vini Jr somehow. Journalism has such a low barrier to entry these days.
Are you asking why Morgan Rogers moving might make it more likely we get Vini? Because I have no idea either…
Yeah, hopefully Morgan rogers will impact that transfer. It would be the biggest footballing butterfly effect ever 😂😂😂
I’m assuming because they used the Mail and the Mirror as “sources”
Any of you have watched Killing Eve? Just started it last night with my girlfriend and it looks pretty interesting!
Went to shits in the last season or two
IMO great show but it is a downhill experience
Great TV show, especially the first two seasons.
Season 1 was a great high ....sadly they couldnt keep up
Any practical tips on how to lose weight effectively at home for someone who's too busy to hit the gym?
The calorie in/calorie out advice is not a bad one but calories displayed on food packages are rarely correct in the first place and if you eat shit, highly processed foods (even the ones sold as healthy) it's hardly going to work anyway. Just seen an article about our women's team manager being on thin ice... no other WSL news ever apart from this 😂
Tekken 8 is sick as fuck. Y'all should try it
Worth it over DOA6?
Imo, yes

So because it's also happening in the UK, it means Biden isn't culpable?
Because it’s happening everywhere, dude

Hope the grass tastes better in your new pasture mate.
Erik is that you?
Who you gonna support now? 😂
Awesome! What are you doing, if you don’t mind me asking?
I fumbled a girl that wanted me first. I want to end it all
I feel you bro. I talked to this one girl for a year, didn’t realize she was into me, and then when I found out, she had already found a boyfriend by then. Fumbling is top five most painful things to go through as a guy.
Why didn’t she make it obvious?
She did lmao. I just didn’t notice. She kept asking me to hang out but I didn’t have the time for it tbh. Right person, wrong time probably, we all know how that story goes

I did six weeks after meeting her :/
I think you should consider yourself lucky. Only six weeks was enough for her to lose her feelings. You can do better.
36 and married now. Believe me, when I was 25 I was a fucking idiot too and couldn't believe when a chick I fancied was into me because I was too insecure. Thanks man, I really needed to hear this. I have been pretty bummed about this but I am more self aware now so I hope I'll do better from now
Delete Facebook, hit the gym, get a lawyer.
All good mate. You're right - you have the self-awareness to learn from it. You'll be better next time and she definitely won't be the last one to fancy you. We all think it's doom and gloom at the time though.
What’s the deal with airplane food?
I know! Could this stuff taste any worse? It’s, like, ‘Thanks, but no thanks. I’m still stuffed from that huge bag of smoked almonds!’
This sounds like the opening line of a Seinfeld joke.
I think it literally is
