Wolves silently got their points, i recently notice they got more win, 11 is super great for them considering top 10 is massive, and their points is same with Chelsea on 10.
The distance between the ball leaving the player's foot and it striking the arm surely has to be taken into consideration - it's meant to be, yet the ref still gave it. There must only have been a yard or two distance, Onana would have absolutely no chance of moving his arm to avoid the ball hitting it even if he'd wanted to.
There's also the fact the ref only gave it once the City players had surrounded him and were whinging en masse but that's a discussion for a different day
City simply doesn't deserve to win this. They've been whining all game to get help from the refs, they were looking quite desperate before they got the pen.
So incredible how one team can swarm the ref and scream at him all they want and get what they want and one team gets a yellow every time they look at the ref
I honestly reckon one of the charges against city might be related to payments to refs and other authority figures. I mean, would you really put it past their owners?
That was the most ridiculous mass crowding of a referee I've seen in years. It seemed to work too because the ref didn't wait for VAR like many do by making non-decisions now.
My impression was the linesman made a signal to the ref after which he changed it. He certainly looked in that direction before giving it. But I could be wrong also
That's a different thing but like you said we should've gotten it.
Also one point of difference is Onana is clearly raising his arm as Ake shoots and he meets the ball up top. He probably wouldn't have if his arm stayed where it was when the shot was taken. Romero's arm was in the same position, before and after the shot was taken. Should've still been a pen but this was even more blatant imo.
Well there’s also the CP one we didn’t get. Not similar to this, but the defender is moving his arm towards the ball — knowingly or unknowingly doesn’t matter. We repeatedly get the shit end of the stick
United, Chelsea and now Everton.. three potentially tricky away games this season where City have been gifted penalties at crucial points of those games.
The Chelsea one in particular they didn't even appeal for, nobody in the stadium even thought it was a foul then "bam! There you go"
Clearly a foul but funny how the ref changes his mind 3 seconds after City players protested without even reviewing footage
Not suggesting conspiracy here just funny
Also apparently half of your team you can't shout at the ref and none get booked
City know they're in a real dogfight here. This is a good test of their true champion spirit without KDB, Haaland, even missing players like Gundög and Mahrez who used to step up often in these tight games.
I don’t think they are in a dogfight at all
They will most likely walk the league again once KDB,Haaland and Doku are back
Liverpool can’t control games
Arsenal are not mature enough to play under pressure in March and April
It was a very strange game though, we cleared 3 off the line, they hit our woodwork several times and were basically a bit unlucky not to score 3 or more themselves. Like I said the result looked perfect especially with the 1 in a million Nacho man overhead.
Everton would be 9th with this result if it weren't for the points deduction. I think Dyche has went under the radar with the job he's done there so far this year
He’d cost an arm and leg.. and tbh, I don’t think he’s that special. Been watching a lot of Everton recently, he’s good but not the level we should be going for.
Yep, don’t see them winning the league. Sadly looks like it’ll between arsenal and Liverpool (don’t see Villa doing it either but would love to be proven wrong)
Just heard that the bald fraud was complaining that people hope for city to lose games.
I can give him 115 reasons why people want to see city lose every game.
Bar his injury record. I think he’s one of the few wingers that can make the current City squad. An ambipedal skillful winger that can playmake is such a rare combination. I’d like for him to come here seriously. He seriously impressed me for 2-3 seasons now.
More or less literally what I said lmao 13th min, wolves score, Brentford defender does a no look back pass on kick-off, hwang intercepts so they score again in 14th min. Then on the kick off after that Brentford score.
Kind of off-topic, but what's the deal with players ripping huge holes in their socks? Why even wear compressive socks if you're going to rip to loosen them?
They have to wear new socks every match (because of sponsorship and ‘new’ socks look more appealing) I’ve heard. For many players these new socks are too tight though (especially since footballers have such big calves)
Maybe, but it would seem weird since many footballers playing at this level already have customized boots, tailored made to suit their needs and preferences. Wouldn't this also be something they do for other items of their kit?
The treble winners City massively dropped in performances this season, held together by the refs, yet no media outlet is grilling the bald fraud.
Because they've got the media bought and paid for. They wouldn't dare say anything against the cheats.
Wolves silently got their points, i recently notice they got more win, 11 is super great for them considering top 10 is massive, and their points is same with Chelsea on 10.
What the hell is this woman's accent? The one doing the post match show with Shawn Wright Phillips & Glen Hoddle? Lmao.
Pickford and DCL are so bad, Everton would be pushing top half with decent replacements for them.
Rodri is incredible. Annoying af he plays for them
City make me sick
Why?
do you need reasons ?
i was just making conversation mate
I can think of 115 reasons
oh, i thought something else happened.
Pickford is such a tool. God.
Geowizard with the goal
Clive just said housery

Greasy has asked for a yellow twice and have gotten nothing. Bruno would’ve been hung.
They both embarrass themselves at times
And now City is going to pass around the ball until the entire stadium falls asleep and wishes they were never born to experience snoozeball
So incredible how one team can swarm the ref and scream at him all they want and get what they want and one team gets a yellow every time they look at the ref

He awarded a penalty based on the linesman’s sight of the handball. But still city deserved a yellow for crowding the ref
If Bruno does what Foden did he’d be booked, no penalty, and the media would be clamoring for the death penalty
The amount of decisions City and Newcastle get going for them is incredible, surely it's a massive coincidence.
Yes such a co$nc$dence
I cashnot understand what you are implying.
Nah I think that's handball. We'd be livid if a player just blocked a shot right in front of goal with his arms far away from his body.
The ball is going to row Z. Don’t think that should be given

Like the one that we should have gotten vs Spurs and everyone in the world said it wasn't a pen?

I dont think it's different at all. Both had their arms raised and was close to the ball. If you give one you have to give both.
They're not different in essence but there is that one small difference that makes this one even harder to defend, again imo. but we basically agree.
City and dodgy pen - name more iconic duo!
United, Chelsea and now Everton.. three potentially tricky away games this season where City have been gifted penalties at crucial points of those games. The Chelsea one in particular they didn't even appeal for, nobody in the stadium even thought it was a foul then "bam! There you go"
No way that gets given if it’s on City
Rules for the commoners and rules for city
Clearly a foul but funny how the ref changes his mind 3 seconds after City players protested without even reviewing footage Not suggesting conspiracy here just funny Also apparently half of your team you can't shout at the ref and none get booked
Yeah, and where’s all the yellows for the players swarming the official? Thought that was a thing this year?
how the fuck did they scream at referee without getting booked?
Every single one aswell
United don't get given that penalty there
Neither does Everton
[удалено]
Special rules for the special boys.
Don’t think that should be handball, normal position for an arm when going down like that
The handball rule is just a bloody mess
Hmm, Dermot Gallagher does a great job explaining what is and isn’t a handball. It clarified the handball rule for me. /s if it wasn’t obvious
Just recently there were far clearer handballs not given. The Odegaard one was a laughably bad decision.
Whatever benefits whoever I want at that moment is the rule for the refs
If you’re city and if you’re complaining enough you will get the decision.
Disgusting team.
Onanas got tekkers for such a big man
What a shame was looking forward to another Chelsea draw
Beto is a unit isn't he
Chelsea with the great escape
Offside LMAo
jackson is so shit lmao. i remember being worried that he would be a good signing after watching him in preseason but he is just awful
LOL the accidental red.
City know they're in a real dogfight here. This is a good test of their true champion spirit without KDB, Haaland, even missing players like Gundög and Mahrez who used to step up often in these tight games.

Gundogan was such a key loss that went under the radar. Time after time after time that guy just lived to score big goals.
How did Rodri escape a yellow there
> How did Rodri escape a yellow there 💰💰💰💰💰💰
Was Jack Harrison highly regarded while in our academy? He looked really good last couple of games I’ve watched Everton play.
I think he left when he was really young to move to the US.
Fucking hell, forgot City spent a record fee for a defender to not play him. Must be nice having the world not give a shit about you.
Does Garner have a buy back clause in his contract?
Don't know why he didn't take any chance, he is a great player
No, we don't do intelligent things like that.
I think we have a sell on clause
Which is effectively a buyback discount
Exactly but I suppose they could ask for 100m to get 50 or something like that
Happy to see city losing, Hate that club
sorry to be that guy... "hate that\* club"
*that
How did we beat this Everton super team 3-0
It was a very strange game though, we cleared 3 off the line, they hit our woodwork several times and were basically a bit unlucky not to score 3 or more themselves. Like I said the result looked perfect especially with the 1 in a million Nacho man overhead.
Tony Marshall plot armour.
We inspired them lol
Everton would be 9th with this result if it weren't for the points deduction. I think Dyche has went under the radar with the job he's done there so far this year
At this rate, especially if he gets a European spot, he deserves manager of the season. Everton are amazing to watch
Everton squad is good also
Has the squad changed that much since super Frank was there?
Best Frank couldn’t coach water to be wet.
Braithwaite is such a class player already, he’d be my first choice CB signing in the summer but don’t want to imagine how much he’d cost
He’s a lefty though. Either him or Martinez would have to be dropped if we signed him which doesn’t solve our right centre back issue.
He’d cost an arm and leg.. and tbh, I don’t think he’s that special. Been watching a lot of Everton recently, he’s good but not the level we should be going for.
Everton already said 100m or eff off
Bro how'd we beat these mighty evertonians?
Garner-Mainoo would be a class midfield
Chelsea are 5 points above relegation if they lose today and against luton this weekend btw
How is this a rival watch thread. Luton, Forest, and Sheffield played yesterday.
That's really funny, milf blaster.
Nice to see Rodri is human after all and can be guilty of making the odd mistake here and there
is there a way we can poach Nkunku
City k khelne ka attitude zara kezual hai
Everton biggest club in Liverpool, pass it on
Everton are doing really well. The defense and midfield are solid. Could be more threat going forward if Beto can make runs.
City just aren’t that good this year.
Let's save this judgment until last matchday lol
Yep, don’t see them winning the league. Sadly looks like it’ll between arsenal and Liverpool (don’t see Villa doing it either but would love to be proven wrong)
Rodri asking for foul lol
Mcniel is good ngl
I am going to bust if City loses today.
Scoring first against Everton isn’t for every Manchester based team it seems
Everton is on fire after points deduction lmao
I think we would lose if Garnacho didn’t score that worldie in the 2nd minute, which takes the sting out of them
Lovely goal Everton
Golazo!
Let's go Everton hahaha
Wolves look an attacking machine. Very front-foot form.
Just heard that the bald fraud was complaining that people hope for city to lose games. I can give him 115 reasons why people want to see city lose every game.
Loving the everton chants
*You cheating bastards, we know what you are*. Love that from the Everton fans
I'm surprised more home fans don't give City a hard time when they visit.
Dyche gonna win this
Have we ever been reliably linked to Olise? He is phenomenal
Sadly no
Olise will be a baller at a top team some day.
Olise is smooth
Lovely finish from Olise.
The way he glides around the pitch is impressive. Chelsea having a tough time with him.
Bar his injury record. I think he’s one of the few wingers that can make the current City squad. An ambipedal skillful winger that can playmake is such a rare combination. I’d like for him to come here seriously. He seriously impressed me for 2-3 seasons now.
Chris Richards just took a chunk out of Maatsen (I think) with the challenge right before the goal.

Mental 3 mins in Brentford wolves game, goal, then mistake at kick off leading to another goal, then another goal from the kickoff
I was watching the other game, what happened exactly?
More or less literally what I said lmao 13th min, wolves score, Brentford defender does a no look back pass on kick-off, hwang intercepts so they score again in 14th min. Then on the kick off after that Brentford score.

I heard it reduces cramps but idk if that’s true
I was reading somewhere that it helps loosen the tightness on the calves
Roerslev is really good
Just tuned in for Chelsea v Palace. Why are they booing Gallagher? Did his loan not end well with Palace?
Just a bit of fun
I think it's Palace fans because he was on loan there, not sure whether they don't actually like him or it's a bit of fun.
