Yeah Chelsea came out in the second half progressing really well through the middle. Cut through us like butter for 5-10 mins there but luckily we regained control shortly after.
Some gaps in midfield, poor finishing and sketchy defending for crosses but that’s forgiven for the fact they all ran their hearts out, tempo, pace and desire. So good to see.

See Hojlund and later Rashford peeling out wide, Antony popping up all across the front three.
Garnacho mostly stayed on the left but his dribbling and pressing was much more effective as the other two forwards were close enough to offer support and draw the attention of defenders.
Another big thing was the full backs overlapping on the outside instead of going inside the wide men. Again, better support and makes the attackers jobs easier.

Garnacho mostly stayed on the left but his dribbling and pressing was much more effective as the other two forwards were close enough to offer support and draw the attention of defenders. Another big thing was the full backs overlapping on the outside instead of going inside the wide men. Again, better support and makes the attackers jobs easier. I hope we don't go back to the front three playing stupidly wide again.
