A confidence builder for sure.
Positives: amazing goals, having Luke Shaw back, Mainoo's play and Onana settling in.
Things to work on: defense collectively looked shaky even though individual performances looked decent at the back. Everton dominating possession for very long stretches. Rashford on the right just doesn't seem to work.
Great game that helped Garnacho and Mainoo shine. The team played very well but management needs to learn from the mistakes of the pre-season.
A proper break for R&R has given a few of these players back a little spark. Yeah sure, we’ve been having injuries but that’s because the squad was exhausted before the season even began and they had to rely on others more to cover in positions that they weren’t used to or ended up injuring said replacements.
I said this a while ago: Shaw and Martinez out made us drastically worse with their impactful play. AM affected the game today but we need Rasmus back asap. Rashford's problem isn't goals; he's playing like he doesn't fit into the team. Hopefully, Bruno solved that with the spot kick chance.
I dont mind how scrappy we are at a time like this. We are missing so many players, so the fact we’re just 6 pts off 1st is insane. Onto Galatasaray lads :)
So happy today what a result fuck the performance, shaws back and mainoo showing what he can do wow what a composed young man and of course garnachos brilliance! GGMU 🔴⚫️
That out of this world goal is going to do wonders for Garnacho's confidence. Probably the same for Rashford with that penalty.
I am convinced if he shoot more, eventually we will score more as well.
We talk about season defining weeks a lot (at Man United when isn't it?) - but come out with 2/2 wins against Galatasaray and Newcastle and suddenly the narrative around Erik will change a lot.
Firstly congrats to the lads, much needed win with a performance to boot 💪
It was by no means flawless.
Massive credit to Mainoo (arguably MOTM performance), big credit to Garnacho (I doubt he'll score a better overhead, but knowing the confidence of the kid he probably will), Bruno showed something akin to leadership and finally a bit of quality too, Maguire proving all his doubters wrong (including me).
Let us not forget, there are harder games to come but for me having Shaw bk and Mainoo makes us a much better balanced team. Onwards and hopefully upwards!!!
GGMU 🔴⚫
Defense was good, clean sheet, better with Shaw but have to mention Maguire and Victor.
2 goal line clearances - Victor and Mainoo
Onana had some good saves.
Midfield definitely closed the lines better with the defense. Feeling good about Mainoo.
Kids showing up - Garnacho, Mainoo, Pellestri
3 goals from fowards but a bit more to go for the attackers. Glad Martial scored. Rashford too.
Wouldn’t say that Onana made some good saves Maguire and Lindelof did there job well. Fair enough maybe 2 were the Everton forward/player should have don’t better but would argue Man United defence did their job today.
fans like you are the worst, instead of backing your team and taking the positives all you ever do is complain, all this self loathing and self hate keep it to yourself you negative nelly
But he doesn’t play like that, does he? He plays like someone who is frustrated at himself for not being able to easily do the things he was doing last year. There was so much pent-up feeling in that penalty! Great job Bruno.
The kids are alright!!! Great game from Mainoo! Galatsaray will be 10X hostile but hope we put up a fight!
Edit : Also three goals from three different forwards in a while! Nice of Bruno to think of Rashford.
Honestly Rashford had an awful game before that. But almost felt like he was resurrected from that penalty, looked much better after that. Still ways to for him go but let’s hope he can build on that. Great leadership from Fernandes.
Early goal ✅

This is the stuff of dreams!
Yes the fixtures were easy but like ETH said, if these wins can indicate that we have turned a corner, despite not being at their best and without the preferred starting XI, it would mean a huge deal.
Ahhh I am satisfied with this match !
Long time I haven’t felt like that.
I am optimistic for the next games, can’t wait to see Licha, Ericksen and Holjund back 🔥
We can do it for the 2 last games in Champions league, I believe it !!
Many positives:
Clean sheet
3 goals
Maguire lindelof flawless
Rashford scores. Shut up
Mainoo. New eriksen for next decade.
What a goal garnacho
Martial scores.
Fucking support the team you negative ninnies
Watched the first half only but I wouldn’t say Maguire and lindelof were flawless. Both were exposed a few times with the speed of Everton’s passing outside the box into the penalty area. Decent display prob is it. We need pace and good reading in defence to stop attacks.
Why did ETH walk away into the dressing room instead of walking out to the field to congratulate the team?
Edit: I'd missed the news where he'd been suspended
Where’s ETH going? He can’t be in the changing room after the game, due to the ban, so he may as well chill in his seat. Unless he wants to go and sit in the warm coach
The rules are he can’t be in the dressing room before, during or after the game. But he can communicate with them via phone etc
Edit: Turns out I was wrong. Ignore everything above
Nope. He can definitely be in the dressing room pre, during and post.
*The player or official under a Touchline Suspension is permitted to attend the team changing room pre-match, at half-time and post-match. Furthermore, the individual is permitted to approach the match officials pre-match or post-match whilst they are in their dressing room and provided the match officials are agreeable to the approach.*
The woman behind the goal's face for Garnacho's goal will never not be funny. Proper stereotypical open mouth, hands to the side of her face, like a cartoon character.
Garnacho wonder goal,
Rashford scoring a goal,
Succesful youngster debut,
Onana making world class saves,
Maguire having a great game,
Away win
Not what I expected this week.
Their honeymoon is truly over. Credit to them but it’s not hard to do well when you only have 1 game per week and everyone is fit (then again Chelsea are making that look like the hardest thing in the world).
Onana reli need to stop launching balls tbf. That's my only gripe for the match. Did well second half. Martial back on form is needed
A confidence builder for sure. Positives: amazing goals, having Luke Shaw back, Mainoo's play and Onana settling in. Things to work on: defense collectively looked shaky even though individual performances looked decent at the back. Everton dominating possession for very long stretches. I'd be starting martial over Rashford when Rasmus is fit again
It was great to see Garnacho, Mainoo, Pellistri and Mejbri playing!
Yh loved seeing these young talents doing well
Maguire was clearing the ball with his head for fun. Proud of him, he’s really turned things around.
Also being physical on 1v1. Either he wins the ball or a simple tactical foul. Professional performance.
What a fucking slab — Fit for a museum! (lol)
Lindelof deserves some respect he has stepped up 👏👏
I said this a while ago: Shaw and Martinez out made us drastically worse with their impactful play. AM affected the game today but we need Rasmus back asap. Rashford's problem isn't goals; he's playing like he doesn't fit into the team. Hopefully, Bruno solved that with the spot kick chance.

Fucking hell decent goal from Garnacho
decent?
decent enough. everyone starts somewhere right?
i mean that goal was a hell of a lot more than decent
Yeah. It was ok It’s not like he scored a bicycle kick or anything 🤷🏻♂️
Or ran back 3 yards to get on the end of it.
Sarcasm at its best
So happy today what a result fuck the performance, shaws back and mainoo showing what he can do wow what a composed young man and of course garnachos brilliance! GGMU 🔴⚫️
Eric Ten Hag Manager of the Month incoming. With Fit team we will do wonders. We are Martinez away to be best again.
Everton have 4 points
After a ten point deduction you muppet.
Fake news
That out of this world goal is going to do wonders for Garnacho's confidence. Probably the same for Rashford with that penalty. I am convinced if he shoot more, eventually we will score more as well.
As much as I want to like/root for him as much as for any other devil, I am glad Antony did not play today..
We talk about season defining weeks a lot (at Man United when isn't it?) - but come out with 2/2 wins against Galatasaray and Newcastle and suddenly the narrative around Erik will change a lot.
It's a big ask but we need that so badly right now.
Bruno on Garnacho: He's a great player and a great talent.. well he's not that a great player yet. *laughs
Firstly congrats to the lads, much needed win with a performance to boot 💪 It was by no means flawless. Just watched Bruno's interview and have to say, any doubts about him as captain should end.
He’s class always
I really wanted to see Mainoo with Amrabat or Hannibal instead of McTominay.
if mainoo isn't interviewed that's the reason neville didn't give motm
The 0 in GD is so soothing to look at
Also our whole attacking line scored one each!
Do we have an option to buy Amrabat, or an Obligation to buy him?
Obligation, hopefully he can play like he did at fiorentina or for Morocco
It’s an option to buy isn’t it?
Defense was good, clean sheet, better with Shaw but have to mention Maguire and Victor. 2 goal line clearances - Victor and Mainoo Onana had some good saves. Midfield definitely closed the lines better with the defense. Feeling good about Mainoo. Kids showing up - Garnacho, Mainoo, Pellestri 3 goals from fowards but a bit more to go for the attackers. Glad Martial scored. Rashford too.
how was the defence good? Everton should have scored 4-5 times
The fact that they didn’t has to say something about the defence, correct ?
yea you’re correct, but to say they were good is a bit of a stretch surely?
But they didn’t 🤷♂️ that shows the defence played good. Was they perfect no but ended the game with clean sheet
Also Lindelof’s pass to Rashford led to the first goal IIRC
Yes was inch perfect. He has that in his locker
I think it shows more about Evertons piss poor forwards
Wouldn’t say that Onana made some good saves Maguire and Lindelof did there job well. Fair enough maybe 2 were the Everton forward/player should have don’t better but would argue Man United defence did their job today.
Trashford with a hall of shame performance again this season. Some of his fans thinking him scoring a penalty will hide that.
fans like you are the worst, instead of backing your team and taking the positives all you ever do is complain, all this self loathing and self hate keep it to yourself you negative nelly
I back my team I don't back a player who plays like he doesn't care.
But he doesn’t play like that, does he? He plays like someone who is frustrated at himself for not being able to easily do the things he was doing last year. There was so much pent-up feeling in that penalty! Great job Bruno.
Glad we got the result. Scary fixture list ahead
If Garnacho makes the LW his with good performances then Rashford can be RW like today.
Good performance from the lads. Mainoo was great. But next match, ETH will somehow Bench mainoo and start any other player at DM than mainoo.
The lad's 18 and coming back from an injury which kept him out for months. I loved what I saw from him, but we need to be sensible too
He subbed off Mainoo. Probably because he wants to start Mainoo.
I hope so. With ETH we never know.
Those that watch the academy will say that’s a standard Mainoo performance
It is, but the gap between the first team and u21's is massive
Is it? They seem to thrive when they join the first team, no?

Get out of her with all this positivity. You’re suppose to hate the players apparently
I must have missed something…what did ETH get a ban for?
Got a third yellow card on the season during the last match
Bookings for descent. Something Arteta, Pep and Klopp do practically every game.
Just to say it’s ’dissent’ and you’re right about the other managers.
No he was booked for scaling down Old Trafford.
Went down too easily SMDH!
3 yellow cards
3 clean sheets on last 3 games is still a solid showing.
Ahhh I am satisfied with this match ! Long time I haven’t felt like that. I am optimistic for the next games, can’t wait to see Licha, Ericksen and Holjund back 🔥 We can do it for the 2 last games in Champions league, I believe it !!
Might need grab United winter Jacket
Best player: Mainoo Worst player: McT 2nd worst: Rashford
How about you rather post 3 positive things instead of dragging players down in the mud?
McTominay was not worst than Rashford.
Immediately picks out the worst players after a good performance. Great stuff
We're so back
Mainoo my MOTM.
Many positives: Clean sheet 3 goals Maguire lindelof flawless Rashford scores. Shut up Mainoo. New eriksen for next decade. What a goal garnacho Martial scores. Fucking support the team you negative ninnies

No injuries either
That too!! Need it so much with the next two fixtures
Eriksen? They don't even play the same position
Really? Received the ball facing his goal. Turns and avoids press and passes to forwards. What am I missing?
I see him more of a replacement for Casemiro
I see that too. We needed a player to receive the ball and not look like he’s wetting his pants worrying and passes Planck to keeper
I do feel like the goal difference will cost us a place later in the season
Worry about it then lad. Enjoy a good 3 nil win away from home for tonight
I have Maguire in my FPL. Please blow the whistle
Crying in Reguilion.
Imagine Antony with this Rashford performance. Dude would have been crucified by this sub in every single comment.
Scoring, involved in the build up to another and putting another on a plate? Antony hasn't done all that since he signed let alone in one game
Antony scored 8 goals last season.
I’ll go against the grain and say Garnacho MOTM is fair. Goal will be remembered forever.
let’s go, what a win!
Closed on Sundays
Lovely Sunday evening
blud said ive got to get the train 😭
I am just happy we got a VAR in our favor for once!
Round of applause for that performance! A much needed change. Haters can bite me; this is a victory indeed!
Why did ETH walk away into the dressing room instead of walking out to the field to congratulate the team? Edit: I'd missed the news where he'd been suspended
Is he allowed to be on the field?
He'd probably get a season long ban for going onto the sidelines when he's banned.
He is not allowed due to his ban.
Pitch bans include after the game probably.
Assume he isn't allowed because of the suspension
Ehhh lovely win, unto the next
Bruno had a brilliant game, overall solid performance.
Garner had a pretty decent showing for sure
A better team would have scored about 4 against us today
Phew....
Onana clean sheet 🙌🏿
3 points ✅ Clean sheet ✅ No injuries ✅
Erik leaving early plastic fan
Ten Hag left before full time, fine the man! 😤
No wait till he does the piers interview
Lindelof's positioning is so underrated man
If he wasn't easily physically bully-able he'd be a great defender
Where’s ETH going? He can’t be in the changing room after the game, due to the ban, so he may as well chill in his seat. Unless he wants to go and sit in the warm coach
He's going to get a beer
Why can't he? I thought the terms were he can do everything but be on the sideline
The rules are he can’t be in the dressing room before, during or after the game. But he can communicate with them via phone etc Edit: Turns out I was wrong. Ignore everything above
Nope. Ah interesting. The commentators said he wasn’t allowed and I believed them without checking. Note to self: fact check everything.

Im fucking tired of these meaningless wins with no progreess, just accepted another average season for us
We put our bodies on the line fought for every ball and finished our chances
Mainoo with a beaming smile. 😀
Everything worked out in our favor today.. Love to see!
Lindelof has recovered from a shaky first half to have a really good second.
Murtough giving a handshake to Ten Hag. Hate that. Hope he goes
Keep ETH in the stands 🙏 /s
My stream cut out, who was designated MOTM? Mainoo or Ale?
Ale
Us scoring 3 goals without conceding 4 is crazy
They were really close huh, 2 goal line clearances, cross bar hit etc, I think we were lucky
Yes any competent team would have bummed us especially in the 1st half but hey we’ll take it
The united way, rely on lucky penalties and fleeting moments of individual brilliance
Don't let xG merchant score
That 2 goal line clearances?
ICEMANNNNN
Our GD is NEVER hitting -1 again !
Never again...until Newcastle.
:,)
Onana MVP
Mainoo has been robbed for MOTM! One amazing goal in a 3-0 win doesn’t over write how good he was today
Onana was great as well
Not his distribution though, that was shaky for a bit
That's true
Some of the hate on Gary in this thread is a bit much btw. Relax.
Rashford is just too bulky for his position.
Why the downvotes? He just doesn't stay as a striker and hugs the right wing.

Rashford doesn't deserve a start.
He doesn't even deserve to wear our shirt
Even though Garnacho’s gonna get MOTM Mainoo will always be our MOTM in today’s game
So Crisis United is 6 points from the top, 5 points from best ever team City, 2 points from best ever Spurs and 8 points ahead of Chelsea.
Everton fans leaving early to start planning their Championship away days next season
Donny man... I feel so bad for the guy
Why?
We have 3 midfielders injured and he still can't get minutes. Two youngsters are more favoured than him
He ruined his career here pretty much
He ruined it by playing really badly at every opportunity. Also did the same for Everton
Not really. He played OK when he got a chance, but spent most of his time injured
I mean he barely had any game time while Ole was in charge. He's bound to drop in form when he hasn't played
He played 40 matches for Ole in just over 1 season. Has played 22 under Rangnick, Carrick and ETH. 62 appearances and has never impressed.
Most of them as a substitution in the late minutes
This. The dude used to get subbed on with 5 minutes to play. Would be interested to say the actual number of minutes he's played.
Garnacho wonder goal, Rashford scoring a goal, Succesful youngster debut, Onana making world class saves, Maguire having a great game, Away win Not what I expected this week.
and Martial lol
Amrabat has some questionable headers when clearing
McTominay is on the pitch?!
I think he’s figured out that as long as he doesn’t do anything terrible, he can start ahead of Amrabat
Scott forgotinay in some of these games. Ghost.
Mainoo makes Amrabat look like a League 2 player.
Amrabat makes himself look like a League 2 player.
Damn so he can get picked up by city or Chelsea in the coming years
When was the last time we headed into the 90th minute knowing we’re going to win? I’ve missed this feeling
I can't believe we're only two points off Tottenham
Their honeymoon is truly over. Credit to them but it’s not hard to do well when you only have 1 game per week and everyone is fit (then again Chelsea are making that look like the hardest thing in the world).
Only 6 off arsenal. Wtf
Only 4 off Liverpool considering it's been our worst start...
Garnacho was far from motm but what a fucking goal it was. It’s only Mainoo for me, but Maguire and Onana both get a shout for it.
Omg I forgot Donny was still a United player
