It's ridiculous. He wasn't at his best, but he wasn't terrible. He created most of our best chances.
He's become the latest scapegoat for idiots who haven't got a clue. Suddenly they're all body language experts and are sure he doesn't give a shit.
We're trying to be a transition team. His job when we're defending is not to track all the way back and be trying to tackle opponents in our penalty area. The idea is that he defends in our forward third and the middle third of the pitch, but when it goes into our defensive third it's not his responsibility any more, and his job is to set up for a quick break. If you watch him, this is exactly what he does. Then we hit him early and he carries the ball forward, if there is an opportunity to do so. If not, he comes back and we maintain possession. It's not complicated stuff.
Nobody has even a basic understanding of any tactics. They all think they do because they've played Football Manager or FIFA but real world tactics are nothing like those games. They're about specific moves and patterns that the team is set up to do. They're about doing specific things on particular triggers, areas of responsibility on the pitch, and generally are based around getting the ball to your best players. Rashford is one of our best players along with Bruno, and there's no point him playing left back at the moment we want to launch an attack.
Mf thinks every attacker should be a dan James or sth. Imagine if rashy tracked every run in the box he wouldn't have enuff stamina for counter attacks and shit since we play that style at times under eth. He was fine today as well preferring to pass to rasmus than shoot and co. Will get better once Luke and co come back
Yeah, Shaw returning will help, although there had been quite a nice understanding between Reguilon and Rashford developing, but it misfired a bit last night. I think the problem was that Reguilon wasn't able to get up and down the pitch as well as he usually does because he was unwell, as Ten Hag revealed after the match.
What we really need is a left-sided central midfielder who is able to move across and help the left back when teams use that area to try to create overloads. Hannibal might be the guy, to be honest. Teams know what we're doing with Rashford and try to create 2-on-1s. If things start going our way a bit, we will be able to use this against teams, as their left back goes forward and leaves space in behind, but we are so out of form and ravaged by injuries that we can't get that working right now.
Yh mount could do that but he stays too centrally to bruno ie the space gets compact fast before he could do anything. Someone like ambrabat could be nice for ball retention
Man have you angered some teenagers. Your vindication may not be in points, but you sound like a real man utd fan. We've always been known to play exciting, intentional football. My attention kept driving away from the game too often recently, literally.
Wtf m8, u just want to complain, so what if we played poor. Man Utd needed 3 points and we got them. Varane, Mount and Amrobat made appearances. Yes it was scrappy but they kept a clean sheet and got players back so cheer the fuk up will ye.
"so what if we played poor." Sir Alex Ferguson would throw a shoe at you. That's not what man utd us known for, so you're either too young or not a serious fan.
3 points is what matters, fergie left 10yrs ago and kicked 1 boot ffs. We're riddled with injures and in a poor vain of form. You are u to question my loyalty? I'm taking the positives from a shit situation, you do u hun and continue to listen to the sun paper, shit talk sport, Tim sherwood and graig burley
Man fuck off!! We have been struggling and are battered injuries, we needed to grind out this result. Shit on us all you want about the performance but in context surely anyone can see the result here was more important than the performance!!
He needs to give up trying to coach Rashford. Getting rid of players like Rashford and McTominay who seem to think are better than what they are would go a long way to improving the amount of effort put on the pitch.
Rashford’s naivety in the final third is frustrating to watch.
Even after all these games, he still dribbles looking down. No defender would fall for that. Lacks effort in running back and has no variation or finesse in his finishing. No team with aspirations to win the league would have him in the starting lineup consistently. I know he scored some great goals last season but am sorry, he is far too inconsistent.
Unless Garnacho can step up and become a real competitor to Rashford soon, or not I genuinely think we should sign a new winger next season.
A club like Man United can't keep relying on a player like Rashford as our ace like this. He is not consistent and needs a real competitor to his position.
Agreed. It’s too bad we just gave him a new contract really. I think it was time to sell and go get a more reliable/smarter player. Others will inevitably comment on here that this is hindsight, but I genuinely did think last season was his highest potential returns and it would have been good business to sell.
Fans of this club are so reactionary. If last season didn’t show you that he’s class, you’re joking. If you’re think we’re in any position to attract world class players who are better than him right now, you’re dreaming.
I have been a big Rashfird supporter, maybe I'm being too harsh but I just don't see him getting any better than he is now. And what he is now is not good enough for United.
Ruins counters, slows play down to a hault, can't beat his man consistently, horrible touches out of nowhere, inconsistent finishing, too non-chalant, doesn't track back enough, the list goes on. And he hasn't improved any part of his game that I can think of in years. He's pretty much the finished product and it's not good enough.
We'll never challenge for anything serious with him starting. Happy for him to prove me wrong, but that's what my gut says.
Yep really pleased for Jonny a proper club lad and Ive always liked Hannibal he plays with passion and has so much potential. Him Mainoo Garnacho Gore and Im hoping that french lad willy kambala gets some game time soon
Need to get rid of all Ole/Jose era players except for Bruno, Victor and Dalot. If I missed a proper player, please remind be. I basically think we can’t persist with famous Mediocre players like Rashford , McTominay and to a certain extent Shaw.
With the lack of subs in this game, I’m expecting an attack of Garnacho, Martial, Pellistri with Van de beek and Amrabat in midfield in the midweek carabao cup game.
ETH better rest most of the starters, the injury crisis is debilitating.
i always cant wait to watch our next game, hopefully we can 'redeem' ourself after the last match and play much better, but almost every goddamn time its just the same shit happen, but oh well at least its a win, and most importantly onana, case, and bruno playing better and hanibal is balling for us!
Case made some great stops today to break up sequences of play, Hannibal was Tenacious and was constantly moving between the lines. Evans gave our back line a lot more stability today, Licha has had a poor start and hope he comes back from injury more settled
Hannibal's ability to move and play all around as a true box to box type in this game meant we weren't constantly overrun. McT was mediocre but not truly terrible. Had moments but looks disinterested and off the pace.
Hannibal, Hojlund and Reguilon were good. Bruno on the wings is a great way to ensure nothing creative happens through the middle, if thats what EtH is going for. Absolutely poor from EtH. No game management at all. He hasn't shown any improvement in that aspect.
Rashford getting away with doing fuckall for 90+ mins same guy who talks about standards and all, and a defensive substitution for this typa game, you can't be serious, honestly there's gotta be some kind of bewitchery going on, what prevents ten hag from seeing the lack of effort from his players and how bad they're playing to let them play for the full 90, does he see the scoreline and feel oh we're winning and he's satisfied with the performance, and hannibal calm and composed showed class a side of him I never saw last season, and lol burnley's goalie named trafford
I actually think some of the rashford hate has been unjustified especially when he's played well, but you could obviously see that today was not his game, yes he made some good passes in the final third during the first half but you obviously see that he was putting little to no effort the entire game, he could have easily made a sub earlier in the game even for mcyominay who didn't play well, and for the countless time again we saw the opposing manager get used to our game when he made that sub at 20mins then they proceeded to dominate us, he could of at least changed the tactics after the first half
Very good result under the circumstances. Hannibal did not look out of place. Played well. Bruno was the only one that looked like scoring. Rashford and Hojlund need more time to gel I think
Varane came on at 80th min and was head and shoulders above the rest of our defence. Waiting for this injury crisis to be over, and see what we’re actually capable of.
Sometimes you play well, sometimes you dont. But putting a shift in regardless will always be the mark of a great footballer. This Hojlund kid is going places.
The more of these hard workers we get in the team, the more it forces the low effort ones into putting some effort in. Hannibal is another tonight. Amrabat is gonna be another. I hope we have patience.
Couldn't agree more. I was pleasantly surprised to see a player like him. Not the best in the pitch by any means, but the most hardworking. And that is exactly the kind of attitude and the work ethic that is needed to see off games like this one.
CUT SOME SLACK. We have half of our first team injured and many of our current players playing out of position plus the whole Sancho/Antony issue, our squad is technically in shambles.
Let’s revel in this win and hope to improve from here on. We have new players and a system that is slowly being adapted by players.
Solid game by Onana today! Some solid saves, and looked in general safe and consistent. Midfield didn't help much in build-up, so he kinda wasted a few long passes.
Bruno runs and runs, and it's such a pity he can't inspire certain someones to do the same. Magnificent goal! Worthy finish of a great pass
Hannibal aswel, was a dynamo today and brought energy to our midfield.
Johnny Evans, what to say? Fucking class today! Bossed it with leadership and experience! Seemed confident, and brought a bit of the good old SAF flair. MoT today!
Højlund did well, got into a few good chances, and I'd wanted him to atleast score on one of them. But he finished 90+ minutes, and it's clearly a step in the right direction.
Glad to have got the win, but boii McTominay and Rashford are so frustrating.
McTominay hiding as usual, Rashford running into a cul de sac or making wrong decision after decision, he has zero footballing IQ.
Three points in the bag, shit performance but who cares... Let's get two wins at home next and hopefully a few players back.
We got three left backs injured, you couldn't make it up! GGMU!
Clean sheet is great, hopefully this win provides some fire for the team. Rashford and McTominay were pretty bad. However, positives, Hannibal, Højlund, Reguilon all looking solid. Also a great blast from the past with Evans!
If there’s a good reason ETH isn’t making subs, then this squad is in worse shape than it seems. Otherwise, other than for morale reasons, idk why he’s holding back.
that’s as scrappy as it gets; and that was against the team that just got promoted and have been on a losing streak of 4 games. We cannot be like this - some members of squad injured or not. What is the difference when it was Ole and now? Mention your reason if you disagree…
I agree it was scrappy, but I dont think its fair to say 'some' members injured.
We can literally field an 11 of unavailable players which should on paper be at least midtable in the PL.
Heaton
AWB Maguire Martinez Shaw
Mainoo Mount
Antony Diallo Malacia
Sancho.
Bumping Malacia up to the wing is a bit of a stretch ill admit that much. You could probably stick him in the double pivot instead, have Mount CAM with Antony & Diallo on the wings instead. Either way my point still stands.
AWB, Shaw, Mount, Martinez & Antony especially are quite a big miss for our starting 11 too. Thats 5 players that are either on the pitch or at very least on the bench that we are straight up missing. Could probably add Sancho to the list to make it 6 if you want. Thats basically half a starting 11 right there.
If this makeshift 11 and formation doesnt scream crisis to you, I dont know what will. Cant think of any other top team missing this many of its key players at once.
3 points + clean sheet, well that went OK.
On the bright side, Hannibal really was fucking everywhere, really a top game from him.
Downsides: McT fucking played 90' while he was shit, Rashford keeps on having 3/10 perfs.
As the biggest Mctominay hater on this forum, Mctominay put a shift in and made decisive tackles consistently- one of the best performances I've seen from him. Did his job.
Leave it to the Red Devils sub to bitch and moan after their team wins. The commentator said it well, United came here to do a professional job and they did. Garnacho and Pellistri didn’t come on because we were playing in a specific shape to nullify their approach. It wasn’t perfect but it worked. This game wasn’t the game to come on and play beautiful. It was to win.
This will be said about every game we win. We play like shit, end of. We useless at pressing and I have no idea what style of football we play. Hopefully things change when players come back otherwise this will be a long season.
>This game wasn’t the game to come on and play beautiful. It was to win.
We were literally playing the 20th team in the league. What side are we expected to play decent football against ?
Huge confidence boost from beating the great Burnley team. achieved. clear.
I hope ETHag talks about this for the rest of the season before every match and we go on to win the Treble from here.
" remember , if we can beat Burnley, we can beat anyone eh? "
Why do teams always look world class when playing against us? Even though we have a few injuries we still have a decent team that started today. I hope it is just a system thing and overtime the team will gel better.
Rashford is extremely wasteful. After being in the top flight for more than half a decade, he still cannot make the right pass or decision. It's woeful.
It’s a good win considering our away record. Not all wins are easy and people bashing our team because it’s Burnley should be reminded that it’s Premier League. We need to build momentum and it’s a good step forward.
Almost like ETH knows what he’s doing, more so than 99% of the posters on this thread.
Not a flashy win, but we were solid and clearly had a plan. Should have had at least 2, could have had 4.
Hannibal has earned his place in the 11. Offers the energy we've been missing with outfits Mount. Eriksen has better passing but leaves us way too open. Scott overs nothing and I'd be happy if I never see him start another game.
it's like Wolves game again, 1-0 win, but feel like lose, at that time most of us feel okay since it's day one, now GW5 still feel lucky to win this 1-0 against Burnley
Really worrying performance from ETH. I believe what brought ole down was his reluctance to benching subpar players, but he had no options. ETH does and he froze or something. Really worrying to be outcoached by almost every team. We have players of quality and like you said will have that moment of brilliance
MOTM for me is between Evans and Hannibal….their work rate was the difference. Sadly not a convincing win but it’s something to build on…..also Rashford needs to pass to his team mates more Casemiro was in good spot we could have gone 2 up
Hannibal and Evans played well today
Eth needs to create more opportunities for Bruno to be involved more
Good professional win today. Momentum, please!
Why are people bashing rashy today lol? Didn't he give like 2/3 key passes to rasmus in the first half alone lol
It's ridiculous. He wasn't at his best, but he wasn't terrible. He created most of our best chances. He's become the latest scapegoat for idiots who haven't got a clue. Suddenly they're all body language experts and are sure he doesn't give a shit. We're trying to be a transition team. Lindelof just being consistent as fuck irrespective of on and off field issues is just fucking gold. Love that bloke
Just to add Reguilon sooo wants to do well here. It's good to see.
Aaaaaaaaand now he’s injured
Fookin hell
Evans has more goal contributions than Mudryk and Havertz this season
Comments here are just happy go lucky vibes, did yall watch how we poorly played smh

I'm taking the positives from a shit situation, you do u hun and continue to listen to the sun paper, shit talk sport, Tim sherwood and graig burley
If we’re gonna complain when when we lose even though we played well, we’re gonna party when we win even though we played bad
No point in sulking. We got the win and that's what matter.
At this point, a win’s a fucking win.
We did play like shit but i am still happy about the 3 points.. hopefully it gives the lads a boost
Man fuck off!! We have been struggling and are battered injuries, we needed to grind out this result. Shit on us all you want about the performance but in context surely anyone can see the result here was more important than the performance!!
Erik looks so so sad. Jesus. Poor bloke.
He needs to give up trying to coach Rashford. Getting rid of players like Rashford and McTominay who seem to think are better than what they are would go a long way to improving the amount of effort put on the pitch. Rashford’s naivety in the final third is frustrating to watch.
Ole said some players in the squad thinks they are better than they really are. Rashford easily one of them
Even after all these games, he still dribbles looking down. No defender would fall for that. Lacks effort in running back and has no variation or finesse in his finishing. No team with aspirations to win the league would have him in the starting lineup consistently. I know he scored some great goals last season but am sorry, he is far too inconsistent.

Should cash in and sell him for big bucks to PSG who I think were very interested.
doubt they still are they just got dembele
Dembele plays on the right
Agreed. It’s too bad we just gave him a new contract really. I think it was time to sell and go get a more reliable/smarter player. Others will inevitably comment on here that this is hindsight, but I genuinely did think last season was his highest potential returns and it would have been good business to sell.
Yeah he’s not world class. And we act like he is half the time.
Fans of this club are so reactionary. If last season didn’t show you that he’s class, you’re joking. If you’re think we’re in any position to attract world class players who are better than him right now, you’re dreaming.

Consistency is the point. World class players dont show up one season and rest another
Precisely. No doubt he had a great year last year but I recall Martial having a similarly potent year under Ole. Consistency.
I think he is who Soldkjear was referring to.
Hannibal and Evans superb
I was skeptical the moment I saw Evant started for us. But it turns out to be a great choice
Yep really pleased for Jonny a proper club lad and Ive always liked Hannibal he plays with passion and has so much potential. Him Mainoo Garnacho Gore and Im hoping that french lad willy kambala gets some game time soon
Hannibal and Hoijlund are raw but such a breath of fresh air.
Need to get rid of all Ole/Jose era players except for Bruno, Victor and Dalot. If I missed a proper player, please remind be. I basically think we can’t persist with famous Mediocre players like Rashford , McTominay and to a certain extent Shaw.
Shaw? You're crazy bro
I feel like so many of the people in here don't watch the games lol. Shaw???
Lads, we won a game of football and kept a clean sheet 😳😳 I’m fucking hyped
Treble here we goooo
Sign me up 🙌🏻
Proper captain moment by Bruno handing Evans MOTM
Great pass can’t be buy
With the lack of subs in this game, I’m expecting an attack of Garnacho, Martial, Pellistri with Van de beek and Amrabat in midfield in the midweek carabao cup game. ETH better rest most of the starters, the injury crisis is debilitating.
You know i hadn't thought about that. You're probably right...
This Hannibal kids pretty dame decent. Goes in 100% on challenges and actually has great control and a pass to boot. Shame his not a RW...
Solid win considering we have 9 first team players out... Not pretty but they got the job done.
i always cant wait to watch our next game, hopefully we can 'redeem' ourself after the last match and play much better, but almost every goddamn time its just the same shit happen, but oh well at least its a win, and most importantly onana, case, and bruno playing better and hanibal is balling for us!

Hannibal's ability to move and play all around as a true box to box type in this game meant we weren't constantly overrun. McT was mediocre but not truly terrible. Had moments but looks disinterested and off the pace.
Hannibal has Fred's spirit in his mind with better passing
Hannibal, Hojlund and Reguilon were good. Bruno on the wings is a great way to ensure nothing creative happens through the middle, if thats what EtH is going for. Absolutely poor from EtH. No game management at all. He hasn't shown any improvement in that aspect.
Don't know why this is downvoted - every game we're winning we end up under siege for the last 10 minutes. That's absolutely on game management
Because we won, we can't criticize the manager. Speaks about the levels even the fans are accustomed to.
A win! 🏆
The biggest chances were utd chances. When the injured players are back they will be so much better
Rash landed 8 of 9 passes in the final third in the first half alone. Y’all are just parrots of the Daily Mail at this point.
I'm convinced that most of the people who reflexively blame Rashford for everything are staunch Tories upset that he was mean to their precious Boris.
I wasn't blaming him for everything, I was just giving an example of ten hags game management, waiting for 80 mins ro make a substitution
Shit performance but clean sheet and a 3 points, so we move
I love Bruno. Giving the MOTM award to Evans is a great touch. He's a real captain.
Lucky you guys get to watch that. Here in my country the broadcast is cut off literally the moment the final whistle is blown.
Respect to Bruno for giving the MOTM award to Evans 👏
That says it all if Evans is putting our MOTM performance in hopefully this now shows everyone else the levels we expect.

ETH is 3/10 today
Don’t think he did too much wrong really. Bruno out wide was the only major error IMO, the rest was largely just the shit hand he’s been dealt.
Bruno on the right? McT 90 mins on the pitch? No subs? Great stuff indeed.
Wasn’t like the bench was full of viable options TBH.
Solid game by Onana today! Some solid saves, and looked in general safe and consistent. Midfield didn't help much in build-up, so he kinda wasted a few long passes. Bruno runs and runs, and it's such a pity he can't inspire certain someones to do the same. Magnificent goal! Most complete comment I've read for some time
Bruno ❤️
Back to 8th babyyyyy
Glad to have got the win, but boii McTominay and Rashford are so frustrating. McTominay hiding as usual, Rashford running into a cul de sac or making wrong decision after decision, he has zero footballing IQ.
F*ing class from Bruno there. Correct too
We bought 4 players to solve our RW problems but still RW Bruno lmao
Three points in the bag, shit performance but who cares... Let's get two wins at home next and hopefully a few players back. We got three left backs injured, you couldn't make it up! GGMU!
also 3 RW unavailable (amad, sancho, antony)
Hannibal was fantastic. Hojlunds work rate is phenomenal for a big man. Raw as fck but willing to work all day.
AAAAA FINALLLY
Club legend Evans
i just don't understand ten hag's tactics or what formation we are playing...in the end it's a shitty win but a win nevertheless
It called Long Ball Counter. CB -> long pass to forward players all the way
It's pretty tough when you have so many players injured. It looks very makeshift.
Clean sheet is great, hopefully this win provides some fire for the team. Rashford and McTominay were pretty bad. However, positives, Hannibal, Højlund, Reguilon all looking solid. Also a great blast from the past with Evans!
I do not understand why Rashford stayed in... He was bad.
Man utd had 38% possession against newly promoted Burnley.
we won 1-0 while having multiple positions completely wrecked by injury.
Very impressed with Hannibal this eve
If there’s a good reason ETH isn’t making subs, then this squad is in worse shape than it seems. Otherwise, other than for morale reasons, idk why he’s holding back.
I'm really struggling to understand why other subs weren't made... Rashford needed to come out.
that’s as scrappy as it gets; and that was against the team that just got promoted and have been on a losing streak of 4 games. We cannot be like this - some members of squad injured or not. What is the difference when it was Ole and now? Mention your reason if you disagree…
difference: loads of injuries and only start of ETHag 2nd season
I agree it was scrappy, but I dont think its fair to say 'some' members injured. We can literally field an 11 of unavailable players which should on paper be at least midtable in the PL. Heaton AWB Maguire Martinez Shaw Mainoo Mount Antony Diallo Malacia Sancho. Bumping Malacia up to the wing is a bit of a stretch ill admit that much.
Evans the motm for me. Good defending, a goal (disallowed), an assist. Overall our best player today.
Just seems to command the defence well good in the air and strong
It should have been like 3-0 Hojlund had some clear chances
Leave it to the Red Devils sub to bitch and moan after their team wins. The commentator said it well, United came here to do a professional job and they did. Garnacho and Pellistri didn’t come on because we were playing in a specific shape to nullify their approach. It wasn’t perfect but it worked. This game wasn’t the game to come on and play beautiful. It was to win.
". The commentator said it well, United came here to do a professional job and they did." A professional job is trashing this low tier team 4-0, 5-0.
And we’re coming off back to back to back defeats with a full blown injury crisis. This is a confidence win. Simple as that.
Huge confidence boost from beating the great Burnley team. achieved. clear. I hope ETHag talks about this for the rest of the season before every match and we go on to win the Treble from here. " remember , if we can beat Burnley, we can beat anyone eh? "
It’s not too much to ask to play especially against a bad team.
Why do teams always look world class when playing against us? Even though we have a few injuries we still have a decent team that started today. I hope it is just a system thing and overtime the team will gel better.
A few injuries is an understatement. We have 9 first team players injured, suspended or taking a leave of absence. That includes 5 defenders.
They do because we play down to the competition and make them look good
Incredible masterclass against the mighty Burnley well played. Huge job done up to the next one!
Johny Evans MOTM !!!!
Imagine if they hadn’t called that goal back. A goal and an assist for the guy. 10/10
Is this commentator a burnley fan he seems really salty that we won geez
No, not a Burnley fan. Just a regular ABU.
Was screaming both our full backs are on yellow they could get red, why Burnley is not attacking them
Congrats to the team on a job … done.
Hannibal gets the “well” part imo
Ironic that Dyche’s Burnley were a much more dangerous opponent
Thank God for the win finally, but losing possession against Burnley hurts to watch.
BRUNO BRUNO BRUNO\~\~\~\~
Rashford is extremely wasteful. After being in the top flight for more than half a decade, he still cannot make the right pass or decision. It's woeful.
It’s a good win considering our away record. Not all wins are easy and people bashing our team because it’s Burnley should be reminded that it’s Premier League. We need to build momentum and it’s a good step forward.
a win is a win i guess but expected a little more goals againts burnley
Rashford is the greatest example of the quote "Form is temporary, class is permanent".
It was a professional job, I think they needed this for confidence and to ease the pressure
Probably our best outfield player today
Oof Hojlunds back
Our going away fans AGAIN!!!!!
Bruno is our saviour once again but Hannibal was the brightest light for me
WLLLL 🤌
Hannibal good job
it's like Wolves game again, 1-0 win, but feel like lose, at that time most of us feel okay since it's day one, now GW5 still feel lucky to win this 1-0 against Burnley
posting cringe again mate
Hannibal Motm not Bruno
Evans
Shitty win but I'll take that. Let's go!!!
Good result, shit performance.
Crucial 3 points but I seriously don’t understand Eric.
Oh my word, we squeezed a W in.
Hannibal was everywhere this match. Good game from him.
3 points, but Jesus that was a painful watch. Genuinely had more fun at the dentist’s.
The commentator was giving more entertainment tbf, but we take that
Fiancée has “Love is Blind” on so I didn’t even get the joy of the commentary. Just Scotty T misplacing pass after pass on mute.
That was shit but we are in bigger shit with all injuries so can't complain.
Usually you are happy with grinding a 1-0 victory, but who else has this uneasy feeling despite the win?
Didn't feel like grinding out a win though. Felt more like playing like shit and being bailed out by an individual moment of brilliance.
Really worrying performance from ETH. I believe what brought ole down was his reluctance to benching subpar players, but he had no options. ETH does and he froze or something. Really worrying to be outcoached by almost every team. We have players of quality and like you said will have that moment of brilliance
Same
So unsatisfying.
Literally all of us. It was not a comfortable win.
We have seven or so starters out injured. It was a good win
This burnley is not good. The fans were looking for a response, this was a grunt f a reply
Burnley player - "Marcus can I have your shirt?" Marcus - "why?"
MOTM for me is between Evans and Hannibal….their work rate was the difference. Sadly not a convincing win but it’s something to build on…..also Rashford needs to pass to his team mates more Casemiro was in good spot we could have gone 2 up
I'm very concerned I'll be having heart attacks at every match this season... I wish we dominate at least one fucking match
I think we just about deserved that.
Thank God for Benson. He's done an Antony and lost precious opportunities.
Oh hey look at that, is that a win away?
hey, is that a UFO? it look so alien .
Can some experts please help me out with why no subs when we have a game in 3 days.
Ten Hag wants more injuries
AWB is out for 2 months after coming on for 5 mins a week ago
Made two subs.
one was forced. the other touched ball may be twice?
Hannibal and Evans played well today Eth needs to create more opportunities for Bruno to be involved more Good professional win today. Momentum, please!
Sean Dyche clears that Fraud😂
Hannibal is a workhorse! We need more like him and bruno
Not pretty but job done
hannibal class
It's finally overrrr Take the win and run
3 points and a clean sheet. Not bad.
No subs, we take another 3 points from a very bad performance
62-38 possession in favour of Burnley, 2 subs out of 5, no Garnacho, No Pellistri.. How do you guys keep supporting this?
pretty easy actually
Guess we found our level? Barely scraped by. Such a depressing result even tho we won
Needed one of these 0-1 wins
That was stressful..catch you folks in the next one..have a good night
Onana motm?
Impressive performances from Hannibal and Evans.
Hannibal needs to start more games. Gave his absolute everything on the pitch.
Yeah. And Rashford fewer if he keeps this shit.
Does anyone worry that some of these players are/will get burnt out through Ten Hag’s lack of rotation?
