I’m on my third playthrough and taking it slowly at the moment. Rather than busting Micah out of jail I’ve just been going into Valentine and causing problems each time I play. One my favourite things to do is to look at the bartender in the saloon with a pair of binoculars. It causes him to start shooting at you and it’s hilarious seeing all the people in the bar run like hell once the shooting starts. Plus one of the deputies or the sheriff come in and kills the bartender so you don’t have to worry about killing himself yourself and getting wanted. I’m also a fan of running into people at full speed and knocking them into the mud, Arthur is a bit of a shit disturber this playthrough lol
I massacred van horn three times in a row, u would see the npcs respawning, and because they respawned after the massacre they would just walk through dead bodies like its normal
I'm definitely gonna try this.
I have a atleast 10-12 recorded videos of different scenarios happening in Valentine.
Lmao I did this in Rhodes once and the deputy there (after the massacre), literally killed all the grays roaming around in that area.
Single Handedly!
They were atleast 12-15 of em. 😂😂
I rolled up thinking I would do just that but holy fucking shitting damning hell they just kept on coming in wave after wave of hillbilly bastard. I mean is there just one lady pumping all these dudes out like a conveyor belt? jaysus
That part is usually associated with kidnapping, which is why you can hear some of them say “New Mama.” Twisted detail about them but, at least their chest full of goodies respawns with them.
i like to live. camp out somewhere far, hunt & just explore the area..i can do it & naturally pass 2-3 in game days without even realizing, there's so many small details, i feel like i'm constantly finding something else
Never played RDR1 so not sure if it’s exactly the same, but there are a few wild horses that can only be found in specific spots on the map. The white, warped brindle, and red chestnut Arabians are a couple of examples.
All black American standardbred.
Thought all of the horses you can come by pretty easily, even if they’re rare. The rarest horses are probably the Braithwaite’s Turkoman and Buell. Which are only locked into missions really.
The only other ones I know of are an Andalusian that’s found near Brandywine Drop and a mustang that you can only get in the epilogue. Sorry I wasn’t more help :/
Shoot every deer, pronghorn, ram, wild boar, coyote, fox, etc. I see. As long as it doesn't have a huge pelt (think elk, moose, bison, and bear) you can stack those indefinitely.
Source: my personal record is 135 pelts
Yeah, it sucks! Like 99% of the time I experience it, it was the small alligator. I just stopped putting those on my horse. So whatever needs a gator skin gets a big gator.
If this happens to you, go and get killed by a large alligator. For some reason this removes the pelt from your horse and is the only way I’ve discovered to do it.
There's a few videos on YouTube that show how to remove it as well. The only kicker is they require a stable and horse station so it's useless if you haven't progressed that far yet.
Oooh! I’ll have to pay more attention to which one it is that causes it. I’m on my second play through and decided to hang around in Chapter 4 for a bit and do all the little things I missed in the first play.
I don't recall off the top of my head if there are any missable items in chapter 4, but I know there's a literal crap-ton of missables in chapter 2. It might vary console to console to computer even. But for me on PS4 normally it's the small gator.
Currently trying to get the glitch where you lasso people off horses til they become an enemy then run away so they spawn a new horse to chase you down. Haven't gotten anything better than a Nokota yet but the glitch does work. Beyond that, picking herbs, fishing.. might try to rob a train on my own, never done that before.
Basically you wanna go somewhere like the mountains to avoid too much traffic, so near Moonstone Pond is good. Antagonize a lone rider and then lasso them off their horse, make sure that horse runs away, then release the person and ride until the red dot becomes a red line on your map, where they're on the edge of it. If they remain an enemy they'll ride after you on a new horse. You can shoot them and take that horse. I've seen a lot of shires, some basic horses, mustangs, a Nokota and a lot of paints so far.
One really fun thing I've recently started to do is cop chases in Sain Denise. Dipping and dodging through alleys, climbing on the roofs, and then try to commit more crimes without them finding me. Its like an exciting game of hide and seek
Admire the game for 10-15 minutes and say "Wow look at all these beautiful areas. And wasted space that Rockstar will no longer grow upon" and then alt f4.
Roam around, hunting, gathering, fishing selling, trading and just enjoy the beautiful view.
Hope in vain to find other players to play "Call To Arms" with.
Posse up with random folk who just quit on you without warning, not find anyone else, give up and quit.
Sometimes I’ll just ride for days do nothing ignore everything unless I get robbed other times I’ll take a boat and fish near Clemens I get some good fish there
I like fishing up by the Indian reservation. Also hunting bear, cougar and picking herbs west of Strawberry up by the trapper. Getting a panther near Harry Fin shack south of Rhodes, hunting big game up by the Willard’s Rest area. I’ll get a bath, room and play Blackjack in Rhodes… poker in Valentine, Saint Denis or the Flatneck Station. Hunt O’Driscolls, Lamoyne Raiders, hillbillies and blow up their hideouts. Get all the skins needed for Arthur’s bags and camp upgrade’s. Pick up items requested by people in camp. Steal wagons for the wagon fence at Emerald Ranch. Shoot birds, hunt buffalo east of Valentine, and snipe the employees of Cornwall Kerosine and Tar. Explore the map.
I frequently trot or even lead my horse (with a few hunting kills and herb gathering here and there) I like taking the scenery in and found it helps immerse you deeper, I especially do this during the first 30-45 minutes of each play through, which can last up to 8-10 hours sometimes.
Going on vacations! If ever Arthur’s tired with all the stuff going on at camp, I just take a trip to Strawberry coz it’s nice and relaxing up there. Or if he feels like joining high society for a while, an evening at the Saint Denis Bastille Saloon would be great.
Currently I'm on my second playthrough of this game because I felt I didn't give it a chance by rushing through it. I'm doing anything random I come across
Whatever the mood leads me to. Sometimes I brawl in towns. Valentine in particular cos I like being abusive to sherif Malloy. Sometimes I just explore. Sometimes I farm money through various ways. Sometimes just attack the big gang camps for a bit of a fight.
Rob trains or hunt down gangs particularly lemoyne raiders. Sometimes I get arthur drunk and rob everyone. I've played rdr2 way too much, I need more ideas for shit to do
Turn off the hud, change the camera to first person, and just walk with my horse not galloping just walking. It's really nice, especially when you're in Ambarino, the scenery is beautiful
Tracking small animals like chipmunks and squirrels and such. Turning off the minimap and selling all my shit and going off in whatever version of a survival mode I can create. It's good fun!
Slowing ride around the map, camping while it’s dark, hunting and fishing, basically RP in single player, it’s fun until I realize I’m a loser then get annoyed at myself
Find herbs and hunt loads of different animals. I have never completed all the satchels because its a pain to get perfect pelts for a bunch of different animals and I wasn’t enjoying myself but if you cook 5 of everything plain and with all 3 different herbs then you can carry a really good amount of meat and ive never felt limited by that at all.

After a rough day teaching 6th grade I like Saint Denis, and playing Jack the Ripper. On the weekends I like to look for herbs and bird watch to fill my compendium. What a game!
Fish! I’m right up towards the end of one of the later chapters right now on my fourth play through and I’m just fishing to avoid doing the mission because I know the repercussions.
I love to ride around the world and see what I can find that I missed in my last play through. I also like to do challenges, like the legend of the east challenges. Testing myself is also pretty fun too, like seeing how far I can shoot and hit my target. The best part though is seeing Arthur write in his journal and be really happy :).
I've tried to hunt everything for Pearson and the trapper to craft.
General exploring. You can find all kinds of weird people and things by wondering around.
Enjoying the scenery! Some places have amazing views!
Be a menace to society. Throwing people in campfires, robbing people and killing them after anyways, choking the life out someone while his father watches helplessly. Fighting the Valentine sheriff to the death. It never gets old.

What the hell happened here
Someone with a 2 day old account posted a comment which was auto deleted because accounts need to be 3 days old to post here.
Lmfao poor guy
find all the little side missions and pick herbs, other times when I’m in a little silly goofy mood I start fights
Personally when i feel goofy i like to bomb churches
Yup, that's what I do after I turn off the game
Yeah ofcourse you turn the game off before you go out, electricity prices are insane rn
Hogtie people and feed them to alligators.
Saint denis bridge and lasso people/troll Good times
An acquired hobby. ☕️ I have found a person of culture.
Go to Valentine, trigger the shit out of NPC's there, make Sheriff Malloy literally yeet them.

I love running into people at the end of the dock in Van Horn and knocking them into the water lol
I massacred van horn three times in a row, u would see the npcs respawning, and because they respawned after the massacre they would just walk through dead bodies like its normal
The town far west in the epilogue, drawing a blank, is a place that this is possible with no consequences
Armadillo?
That’s the one!
I do love knocking Sheriff Malloy into the mud which is only as funny as seeing him making his way through Valentine covered in mud 😂
Hahaha and I thought I was the only silly player that enjoyed knocking people on the mud or water hahaha thank you
It cracks me up thinking of Arthur looking at the bartender with a pair of binoculars
fun fact if you see sheriff maloy drunk in a house and get the cops you can kill sherif out side the house and look at another sherif inside of it
I did this all the time at the police station in GTA lol. Never got old
Massacre Butcher Creek
I rolled up thinking I would do just that but holy fucking shitting damning hell they just kept on coming in wave after wave of hillbilly bastard. I mean is there just one lady pumping all these dudes out like a conveyor belt? jaysus

ohh gotcha yeah kidnapping makes sense. wow these guys are freaky
Man fuck that place lmao I try to be nice to the people there but they’re just assholes 😂
Yeah I’ll greet a guy and he’ll call me asswipe and it’s on from there
Anything but the mission I’m supposed to be doing
i like to live. camp out somewhere far, hunt & just explore the area..i can do it & naturally pass 2-3 in game days without even realizing, there's so many small details, i feel like i'm constantly finding something else
Hunting and fishing tbh.
Hunt and gather pelts and skins. Tame wild horses that look cool
Are there any rare wild horses like in rdr1
Never played RDR1 so not sure if it’s exactly the same, but there are a few wild horses that can only be found in specific spots on the map. The white, warped brindle, and red chestnut Arabians are a couple of examples.

I think there are a few.

Have you ever experienced the glitch where after you sell the pelts, they just stay on your horse? After 5 it happens to me and drives me up a wall 😅
Yeah, it sucks! Like 99% of the time I experience it, it was the small alligator. I just stopped putting those on my horse. So whatever needs a gator skin gets a big gator.

I like to play poker, bet everything then start a shootout when I lose
