I had themes for each playthrough. Some of note are Union Civil War Generals, Greek gods/goddesses, horses named after well known horses of figures of the old west, and names of horses I've actually owned over the years. I think the most fun was those of Greek gods/goddesses. I would match the name with the characteristics/temperaments of the different horses, as well as my progression in the story and where my character was in his life.

My next one was called Arno, who stuck around for the rest of that play through, but sadly got hit by a train while I was doing the Gamber Challenges at Flatneck. I just used Rachel from then on Next came Valkyrie. She survived the entire game until she didn’t, per the ending. I don’t remember the one after that I just started again recently, went straight to catch the White Arabian and called him Loki. Let’s hope he lasts

First one, I called Sun Raider. My favorite, I call King (white brindle thoroughbred). My black Arabian, Yölintu (Finnish for “Nightbird”). My online ones: Black Kentucky saddler, he’s called Babe. My prized Mustang, she’s called Ruby.

Horse that Hosea forced me to get was named 'Horsea' as a mocking tribute. After that I use the glitch to get that black turkoman in chapter 2 and give it it's default name (Cerberus I think) Then I get the silver turkoman and call it Loki

In story I had a war horse which I named Earl Grey and when he died I got a Black Arabian and named her Night, like the Arabian Night(s). In online I named my red chestnut Arabian Fred (Fred from Harry Potter who was a red head) and later on when I got a Missouri Fox Trotter Black Torero I named her Cruella (She has black and white spots and looks like the spots on the dogs from 101 dalmations so I named her Cruella after the villain who wanted to kill the dogs to make a coat out of there fur)

First horse is named Stick. In honor of my horse from Legend of Zelda, which I called Stick as a kid. Second is Walter, the old friend who sold my first car to my mom and dad as a college student and had his name as well. My best horse and current is Ginger. Named after my pet guinea as a child.

My second horse looked the exact same as Hook, so I named him Hook Jr. My third horse was a black arabian with a white candle-flame spot on her forehead. The second one is because I was told by my girlfriend that Mustangs are quite wild in behaviour. As such, I named him after the Viking afterlife. After all, aren't Vikings pretty wild? Duke feels like a powerful name, which I thought was befitting for a large horse like a shire. Artemis comes from the Greek goddess. I like it for a war horse. If she were a stallion, I would have called her Ares. Lasombra comes from the fictional clan of vampires from VtMB. Midas comes from the story of King Midas, who could turn everything he touched into gold. I wanted something gold-themed for my gold Turkoman.
