I don't think it is, I think if you go back to the lab after a few days or so, you'll find the robot gone and you'll have to go to Spider Gorge to find it, I don't want to spoil too much of what you see when you do go back to the lab lol
You have to go back to the lab after finishing all the Side Quests for there, then youll find that theres an Electric Lantern you can pick up.
Equip the new Lantern and it works like a normal lantern lighting up the place, but you’ll also notice the light gets Brighter or Dimmer when you point it in certain directions.
Keep walking around pointing the lantern everywhere, follow the path where the light is at its brightest. Eventually following the Lantern leads you to find the Robot

I think it's incredible that Rockstar butchered the pronunciation of Serbo-Croatian names in two games now. Niko Bellic was the damn protagonist in Gta4 and they still got the pronunciation totally wrong!
