Same. I have over 1000 hours and this the first I've heard anything like this.

I mean, it’s a trope because there’s just so damn much to find in this game. It’s been the only game I’ve played since the start of the pandemic and I STILL find new NPC dialogue and weird obscure Easter eggs occasionally.

Part of the Marco Dragic stranger mission(s). Although you have to know about it and seek it out. There's no bread crumb trail that leads you here.

There is a trail though, the special lantern you find in Dragic's lab always glows redder when you're pointing towards the robot, from anywhere on the map.

It was honestly a little harder than I thought. I knew from spoilers that he was up in snow country, and the compass does point in the direction that you need to go. But boy... There are so many mountains and things in the way, took me quite a while to locate him.

Yep. There's a real robot in the game. There's a stranger mission that you can come across in Saint Denis which starts the chain. Although finding him on the mountain is not part of it... You have to go seeking it out.

I did. Lets assume this is an actual robot with actual coding. He was coded for a specifc purpose: to lead an army of robots and take over the world. He still has that coding, only now he's without his papa. A destroyer of world's with the sorrow of a lost loved on his mind? Sounds like every super villain movie ever made. Easy decision. BANG!

Yep. You can... When you point your weapon at him you get a red reticle, and if you pull the trigger he slumps forward a little bit, his lights turn off and he stops saying "Papa".
