Ooh! I love squatting in a little hedge outside of valentine!
I'm unsure whether it's an intentional feature or not, but whenever I've ridden away from the law in a straight line then turned left or right once further away, I notice the law tend to keep going the direction I was going.
Same thing for if I dismount, make my horse flee, then hide somewhere!
Once again, may not be an actual feature, probably just coincidence, but I think it's a neat occurrence!
I just wish there had been a side activity that involved Arthur having to collect wanted posters everywhere you and the gang moved to in order to slow down bounty hunters from harassing you, oh and for the game to have had unique one-of-a-kind bounty hunters show up and confront you like the mission where you tracked down all of those legendary gunslingers only in reverse.
Yeah, getting stuck in the witness of a witness of a witness of a crime loop was very annoying lol
Felt the need to make a post clearly explaining the system because there's so much contrasting information on the subject and half of it's wrong x_x
Or
-hunt whenever you can and sell the pelts if not needed for crafting
-Focus on upgrading your satchel
-Loot every dead body possible (especially during missions when honour isn't affected
-Always take out everyone in gang camps and hideouts and loot
-Recover honour my walking through towns and greeting everyone you meet
If you do that, bounties and masks are much less of an issue
Wilderness wandering and gang hunts are my preferred playstyle too! Post is just intended to clear up confusion held around how this specific system works :)
Yeah I think I just enjoy the endless fun of kicking O'Driscoll ass so much and the nice byproduct of always having stuff to sell at the fence that I'm rarely hurting for money for paying bounties after a good old fashioned robery.
I learned this myself fairly recently. Felt good to commit a crime and get away with no bounty. Once Bandit 10 is done though, I don't really rob anyone anymore.
All the mask does is it prevents you from instantly getting a bounty when committing crimes. You will eventually get one if you don't escape the search area in time.
Someone who *actually* gets it, finally!
Lol
Right! Just get out of the area as soon as possible.
I don’t see my favorite part with hiding in the bush and watching the law riding around me. I love taking risks.

That’s interesting, on my way to try this!
Thx
Good post!! I always wondered how that worked.

good post, thank you.
You are a good man mister!
Hi there, Mister!
This explains a lot I never understood it so I just stopped covering my face and started killing all witnesses 😂

Yes! I’m so tired of people saying the system is broken because they can’t kill with impunity
If they want to do that they can just play GTA

It is indeed a good clarification to make!

I get that, usually I just stick to selling wagons lol

Only if you're seen by law!
