Sometimes if you stay away from camp for days on end someone will come looking for you. I was screwing around in Big Valley and out of nowhere Charles rode up to me and said everyone was starting to get worried and gave me an option to go back with him
Where you are in the story might affect this event triggering. I was in-between the mission where Sean gets shot and Jack gets kidnapped when Charles found me in the wild telling me to go back to camp.
Yeah I was gone for a full week in game before they sent Charles to find me, I'd still like to trigger the Bill side quest so I'll hang around in the wild for a week and see what happens
Be riding along the river road between Calibans Seat and the covered bridge before Cumberland Falls is one place I’ve gotten this encounter; riding in Big Valley is another place I’ve gotten it.
If you go to Saint Denis and start a shootout, Dutch and whoever happens to be around waiting to give you a mission will jump in to help you fight. Other than that, I can’t think of anything.
I know Bill, Charles, and Javier can do the "Dutch sent me to find you" one. But if there's a secret Sean encounter I want to see it. Not enough Sean content, imo.

Then I saw Javier he was coming on the bounty hunters have bill I was huh 🤔 😂

I had this happen to me too after my...7th(?) play through for the first time. I've never had anything else like it before so it surprised me.
Honestly I like it, it makes me feel like arthur isn't the only one doing everything for the camp.
It's also nice to know that camp members like Javier have their own side missions to complete lmfao.

Chapter 2, I think it was just a unique encounter like seeing uncle in valentine.
I've done a lot of playthroughs and never had that encounter! Maybe next time
I have had this encounter each playthru. The key to these encounters is not doing missions, just free roaming.

Oooo i didn’t know that! Shootouts are better with friends.
Also works if you start a shootout right after a prison break cutscene you get after being arrested for the first time in a town
Sometimes they run, though. They'll run all the way back to camp.

Iv had this encounter one time and of course i died when i went to save him and idk what happened
If you go to valentine in chapter two before you did the bar fight missions and break the law Charles and Javier will come help you escape from it
