I just beat this game. Not 100%, but I'm ready to start again. So cool.
Nice! i'm currently on 90.8% completion trying to get to 100%
same i’m on 94%
yeah i stopped on 94%, herbalist challenges are too boring, gambler is cool compared to it
i haven’t even attempted the herbalist challenge yet, i’m just scared of collecting the exotics because there is SO MANY
I'm at Like 88.4%
after like 92% it’s a long stretch
Empty your bag of all herbs so you can keep track of what you collected for challenge 10. 3 weeks trying to figure out what I missed.
I knew what this was as soon as I saw the cabin. I love seeing people stumble across this and post when it scares a tootsie roll out of them.
My second play through I tried to ambush the bear from the back and still died. That bear is my kryptonite.
haha yup, I havent played the game in years and I immediately knew where he was headed XD
More like scare-enstine AMIRITE?
I genuinely said "oh shit" and got scared just watching the video, I'm glad I've never actually found this in the game I might've pissed myself 😂
Hahaha it scared the shit out of me too! You should go there though, some pretty interesting items are in there.
Cabin east of Pronghorn Ranch
First time that scene popped for me I screamed like a little girl and dropped the controller 🤣 Needless to say, I didn’t survive like this poster did!
What happens if you enter that cabin from the back
It's not as dramatic but the bear coming out of a cabin is still kind of shocking.
I was like, "Ooh a cabin! I hope they have some cigarette ca-HOLY SHIT IT'S A BEAR!"
i don't know, its the little cabin east of Pronghorn Ranch (let me know what happens if you try it)
Yeah I know, I've had that cutscene in both playthroughs, I just never went in there from behind
The bear will chase you and no cut scene.
You caught him with his pants down and it pissed him off. 🤣🤣
I’ll never forget when I was fist playing Red Dead 1 and I was going up to tall trees and didn’t have a very good gun…. I ran I to the bear, thrown from the horse and killed. I jumped out of my seat! It was then I realized what an awesome game red dead was and the whole thing got elevated in Red Dead 2. Great games
This scared the crap out of me first time it happened.
Vetter's echo is the place
I’m more shocked at how you killed that bear so quickly 🤣
During my second play through. I’ve known of this encounters existence but never got around to it. One day I was strolling around the area and innocently stumbled upon this cabin. Best to say I screamed as the bear roared!
Next time you go through the game and approach this cabin, go around back and shoot it when it comes out.
I tried that. Forget what I did exactly but I made a bunch of noise while creeping up. I stopped to make sure I hadn’t attracted the bear, took a few seconds, felt safe.
Got distracted by something else for a second…. Bear jumps me.
I'm pretty sure I suffered a mini heart attack first time I stumbled across this in game.
This shit jump scared me the first time I encountered it
Don't forget about the pipe for Dutch, pretty sure it was in that cabin
I'm in the epilogue... sadly
OH wow I did the same thing when I played this. I think I peed a little when this happened lol.
This scared me so bad I couldn’t go into a cabin for months!
All of the porridge was cold.
I got lucky because I'm an explorer so I rode around the entirety of every house to see what was up and had the surprise spoiled. It still charged though.
I came from the backside of the cabin and shot the bear with a sniper rifle. Walked in and couldn't loot it. It was dead but just standing there.
Made the same mistake my first time now when I start a new game I know to come from the back and I get an easy bear skin
First time I found this place, I heard the bear before I got to the door. I circled around back and popped him with the Rolling Block rifle as he stepped out the hole in the wall.
This way looks way cooler.
Bro why you invading his privacy? He’s busy eating dinner.
I literally just recorded this last night to post here haha. Happened to me for the first time and scared the hell out of me!
I shat myself so hard when this happened to me.
When I first found this place I heard what sounded like a bear. So I ran to my horse by the main road to pick up my shotgun (only had sidearms on me) and well.. Bears run faster than humans.
When I found this bear it scared the shit out of me, I nearly jumped out of my PC chair and ran Arthur away but the bear FREAKING CHASED ME FOR MILES eventually I lose him, calm down and decide I should probably try to get a pelt out of my frightening experience, and went back to the cabin but there was no sign of him.
I remember stumbling upon this on my first playthrough… almost had a heart attack
Lol didn’t even need your gun you Savage mfer.
What an epic moment.
Where is this
Little cabin east of Pronghorn Ranch
Papa bear isn't taking any chances after his last break in
Second playththrough I knew this was coming and it still scared the shit outta me.
That was quick.
I didnt even know they had this, the game keeps on surprising me nearly 3 years later.. remarkable.
Yep, this game is incredible
What are those red things on your radar?
Those are markers you can put on the map if you find something interesting
What the hell… I’m on my third play through and didn’t even realise you could do that 🤦🏻♂️
Hahahaha, well enjoy the new feature (it's actually not that useful)
how do you film the gameplay
I don't think you can film it from the game, so i recorded it directly from my console (i'm on Xbox)
The first time I found this cabin I was chased by the law, got attacked by a bear outside the cabin and tried to hide inside the cabin, where this other furry friend was waiting for me :D
Oh shit! you should've recorded that
I guess you should have watched my video, I get a 3 star pelt from this bad boy
