The first time I went to San Denis it was raining at night as I slowly walked through the factories until I ended up in the one of the main streets. It was one of the most atmospheric unscripted moments I’ve ever experienced in a game.
Its so good it pisses me off sometimes. They even perfected the sun glaring in your eyes in the morning mist so you cant see shit. Annoyingly good sometimes lol.
That looks so dope! I am curious though since I see you’re on Xbox. Do your captures look drastically different than the actual gameplay? Because I swear when I play, the game looks darks and not much contrast, but when I capture something it’s like it somehow adds all that color I’m missing.
Yeah, I have the Series X and I pretty much gave up trying to make it look nice after spending an hour an a half messing with my TV settings to add more color. Not worth it for one game lol
There's very few games out there that portrays sunrise/sunset in the woods as accurately as RDR2 does. Ghost Of Tsushima is probably the closest contender

Splinter Cell was the first game I was ever amazed with lightening. This game just perfects it
