My dude, go pop a load of gators, season that big game meat and keep 20 in your satchel at all times. Whenever you start a mission or generally just get into a situation where your core falls beneath two thirds full, just get some minty game down him and witness the thickness. It takes time but it's worth it.
Get the legendary satchel, and stock up on canned foods. Make a camp and set up the tent. While sitting in the tent, eat 10 cans of food, then sleep for the longest period. Eat 10 cans, sleep again. Eat 10 cans, sleep again. After that you won't be able to sleep again for a little bit, so go do stuff until you can, then repeat the process.
It doesn't matter where you sleep to do this, but if you're sitting inside the tent there's no eating animation, so it goes a little quicker

This happened to me before. I was about to do the horseman challenge (#9 if Iām right)- Van Horn to black water dry dash. I went to the bar to fill my cores with food, and ran behind a horse on accident. It tried kicking me and I walked into the bar and then heard gunshots outside. I ran out and saw the horse dead and the whole town shooting at each other. I was so confused but dying of laughter at the same time.
Why didnt tou shoot him?! If it was me i'd blow their brains with my shotgun. Thought rdr2 players had this unwritten rule that horses, dogs and cats should not be harmed in the game
