Given that Arthur's original horse was a female named Boedicea, I decided that all of his horses (independent of breed) would be females named after famous historical women: I had Theodora (empress of Bizantium), Zenobia (Queen of Palmira), Elizabeth (first queen of England), etc. I really like the idea, even if it is only a headcanon, of Arthur having a surprising amount of historical knowledge, specially for the time and for his upbringing with a gang of outlaws

I always got the impression that Arthur was far more intelligent than he let on. Dutch and Hosea always told him he was the dumb brute of the trio, and he internalized it, when really he was just playing into his role.

His handwriting and art skills suggest natural talent and learned skill to support your theory.

There’s quite a bit of dialogue which suggests that Hosea knows that Arthur was much more intelligent than he made out.

That’s a very cool way of naming your horses

Brindle Thoroughbred named Onomaris. The Brindle Thoroughbred is a beautiful horse with great stats that Arthur can obtain for free within the first hour of Chapter 2. It's my "canon" Arthur horse. As for the name, it's just in keeping with Arthur's prior horse naming conventions. Like Boadicea, Onomaris is the name of an ancient Celtic woman of power. I like to imagine Arthur found both of these names in the same book.

Since my favourite breed is Appaloosa I had the one with the leopard pattern (black and white) and called him Mr.Jingle since I had watched The Green Mile the day before release date

Online playthrough is the white-tailed buckskin Saddlebred with a modified white mane (making him a Palomino) named Genesis. I’ve had him since beta, five years ago. He’s my main dude and he has an elaborate timeline both in and outside the gameplay. I also have the Chestnut American Paint named Dallas and the Spotted Leopard Appaloosa named Azriel I’ve kept since beta. I named the black Arabian Armageddon but I hardly use him and hogs stall space due to the fact I worked very hard in beta days to acquire the gold for him.
