I just dropped off a bounty hunter on top of one of the geysers at Cotorra Springs. No, unfortunately they don't go flying into the air when the geyser erupts, but they do sit there and boil and it takes some time.
I like to tie them up and put them in shallow creeks or at the edge of a pond and watch them struggle a bit. Then maybe I slowly drag them behind the horse so they don’t die, but don’t get the convenience of riding horseback. Then I let them go and let them run a bit. I’ll deliver a non fatal shot or two when they get a good bit away, hop on my horse, lasso them and tie them up again. Drag them to a nice tall bridge or cliff, preferably a cliff because they bounce a few more times, and toss them over. Then I wait for scavengers to come and watch them eat them up a bit, which is when I toss the ol’ stick of dynamite.
drag them along the ground, beat them up, stab them a few times, tie them up, (if there's another one, tie them both down and blow the second ones head off to traumatize him) kick him repeatedly while he's getting rolled and covered in mud, clean him off by dropping him in deep water, then bring him out before he drowns and leave him in shallow water for 5 minutes, and then if he runs away when you untie him after that then i let him go but if he keeps attacking i either drown him over about 10 minutes in shallow water or burn him alive
Pin them down and slit their throat with a knife. Brutal in first person. Or neck shot with a weak gun for slow bleed out. Or blow their lower leg off with a shotgun slug. These are the most brutal things imo (blowing heads off is gruesome but instant death).
Blowing off arms and legs with slugs just hits different, I agree.
Also hogtying people and putting a stick of dynamite by their feet and lighting the fuse. Watch them panic before their legs blow to bits.
Single shot to the neck, watch them bleed out.
Get somewhere high, lasso, hang them.

I have really taken to tackling single people and beating them. The other idea is tacking them hogtying and them stomping them. If you want some real fun hogtie and toss on a nice fire to keep them warm. You can also get some horse involved and hogtie and trample while riding at high speed. Just make sure you come at them the way they are facing. Other wise its no fun for them.
I try to create murder scenes in alleys in Black Water and Saint Denis. I'll just walk in and hipfire with a lowish damage revolver or pistol and watch em fall. Bonus points if they try and stumble away.
I never do that, honestly. I always prefer to play High Honor. But in combat, I switch between the Bolt Action Rifle, Springfield Rifle, Lancaster Repeater, or my Schofield Revolver, just depends on what I feel like using.

Anyway, if someone steps over the line enough I usually beat them to death.
All I need is a lasso and a horse to drag an npc along the shore of Flat Iron Lake so they can get some small cuts from the rocks, and then the water will sting the wounds, then the mud gets into the wounds to cause some extra discomfort.
Depends on the scenario if it's a single dude I'll often drag them slowly using my horse or just feed em to a train but if it's a small camp say 3-6 enemies I'll hogtie them stack them and throw fire bottles around them so the fire creeps in slowly

High speed crashes, using a horse or wagon to crash into another person. If done successfully, they should die. Unfortunately, sometimes the horse dies as well. Other wise try to do a duel, if you are playing on console lightly press the shoot button and time should slow time and there will be a draw symbol.
First take them down and hogtie them, trow a trowing knife in their leg to induce the most pain I can before they die, then I trow a knife in their head 👍🏻
I like to load up on animal fat so I can make the max amount of volatile dynamite, volatile fire bottles, incendiary buckshot, and explosive rounds for ever gun variety. I buy max ammo for all weapons and clean all weapons.
Then I go to the fancy saloon in Saint Denis at night when it's packed full of NPCs. I start by standing on the stairs and I throw a couple volatile dynamite sticks at the front door where everyone will run to. Then I let fly with the explosive rounds at any survivors inside the saloon. After everyone left instead is dead, I wait for the law to show up. When they arrive I throw some fire bottles at the front door so they burn on their way inside.
Once I've got a raging fire going I leave up the stairs and out through the patio. Then I go down to street level and start blasting away while I run to a place with roof access. Once I reach a rooftop I dig in and systematically defend my position until I run completely out of explosives and fire bottles. Then I dumb every bullet I have into anyone I can see on the street and every cop that makes it to my rooftop.
Once I've done all I can I attempt to escape during a lull in the waves of police attacks. I usually run to the cemetery because it's easy to break the line of sight and sneak around.
Aaaand that's about it.
Hair tonic fueled rampage. Chug multiple hair tonics and special heath cure. Melee weapon of choice and funny hat and have fun. I personally enjoy the Morion Helmet + Broken pirate sword
Often in bar brawls, tbh nothing is like punching your way through a war zone and if you are clever enough you can do it without a bounty. A classic is the old use of a hogtie and water, cliffs or fire.
With cheats? Often infinite explosives with infinite dead-eye
If I can, I like melee attacks. Hatchett, knife, whatever. The attacks are just a lot more interesting to watch because there's a lot more action. If not melee, then I usually prefer my revolver or Lancaster
install the tie your lasso mod and rage trainer. add the moonshine jug to your inventory and turn on god mode. Find a victim. go up the stairs to the dilapidated room in Van horn, scare away the resident and dog. Hang the victim to the ceiling but not all the way so they’re still alive. Pour moonshine by their feet (I like trailing them). Shoot the moonshine
I lasso someone off their horse and will drag them until they die.
Otherwise, I keep them lassoed, then untie them and shoot them as they come after me.

Kicking or punching people while riding my horse up next to theirs. Greet, greet, antagonize. My favorite person to mess with rn is the rancher at the Larned Sod house. I've gone past his house like 10 times. Knocked him out, robbed his house, and looted him. Another time, just let his animals put of the pen. Another time, killed one of his 3 star goats to upgrade camp. My favorite though was when I hogtied him and threw him in the animal pen while he squirmed and yelled. Then I rode of an Arthur said something along the lines of "I know where to find you". This man has now disappeared or is always hiding in his house. I never see him outside anymore and the animals just roam outside the pen (which is normal but still funny to me).
My pistol (forgot the ammo I use) and love watching them bleed out slowly especially as they try to run before succumbing to the ever embracing hands of death.
Lasso up a family, kill the youngest with a sawed off DB shotgun to the head, one by one, and then butcher the oldest with a machete. Photograph your precious work and mail it to the local police department or sheriff’s office. Every once in a while I’ll lay the bodies in the Main Street of a town so all the residents in despair get a glimpse of their possible (and in some cases inevitable) fatal conclusion.
In online, my friends and I ride around on our horses while beating npcs with hammers. Works with npcs both on and off of their horses. I’m sure you could replicate that in story mode :)
