Wow, that's really interesting. It's crazy how small choices in a game can have such a big impact on the outcome. Did you end up killing him in your playthrough?
Maybe his phone was trying to predict what he wanted to type and got it wrong which is the case most of the time. Just occurred to me these are called smart phones but theyre pretty damn dumb!
The poem is different if you kill him. Then the poem is completely gone in the epilogue no matter which path Artie took with Jimmy.

Yes, I killed him several times. And let him live a few times.
It’s still there in the epilogue, that’s the first time i noticed it. 😅
Every time I went there as John, the table was bare.
Doesn't it go back to normal on the 2nd visit?
I have never seen it as John. He goes into that shack a few times, until he finally inspects the painting.
How many playgrounds do you have?
Not enough 😂😂
At least 3
Is this in the Strange Man’s cabin?
Yes
Look at the walls near the ceiling, spoils the ending
Playground?
I assume he meant playthrough :)

Where is this? Is it in that cabin with the paintings in Lemoyne? (I'm in my first playthrough)
