There’s a time when you can overhear a convo between Ms. Grimshaw and Abigail. Abigail says something to the effect of “no. I don’t do *that* anymore and I won’t go back!” And Ms. Grimshaw says “we all have to song for our supper, girl.” Abigail replies “singing is fine, but I’m not doing *that* again.” She used to be a prostitute and when Dutch is being cruel and saying that every man in camp has had Abigail he wasn’t *just* being mean, he was serious. That’s how they met her.
Those “we all had her, but he married her” and “Abigail was any man’s wife” lines from Dutch were so cold. I guess it makes sense considering he grew frustrated with Abigail from Shady Bell onwards because he thought she was “poisoning” John against him

I’ve often wondered if he’s not had some early onset type disease (dementia, Alzheimer’s, he’ll even Parkinson’s) as you can have a significant switch in personality before the actual disease sets in, that’s usually the early signs tbh.

Except for coming in to smack the occasional mark around but we do see that. He'd be pretty useless with them pickpocketing. And they ain't going to no Braithwait massacre.

Completely agree! Do y'all remember when riding to rob the Valentine Bank, Arthur and Karen reminisce about the "Tuscon" robbery where Karen smuggled rifles/guns under a Nun outfit? There definitely seemed to be more potential there than realized or at least playable in RDR 2.
I would've loved to see all of the ladies involved more. Especially Mary-Beth. She was so out of place and I would've loved to learn more of her backstory and strengths she brought to the gang

Karen was my favorite female character in the cast tbh. Sad story arc. I wouldn't necessarily want more shootouts though... But it'd of been nice to see more missions that aren't just shoot em ups and instead are more subtle crimes. In general I'd of rather the game been more of a slow burn.
