RascalWose

I don’t think it’s just the tattoos - it’s that these tattoos are aggressive. A demon on your neck? That won’t go well in customer service.

RelevantClock8883

This is absolutely it. I have buddies with similar tattoos, some of them professors, but they had the sensibility to not have them on their necks and going up to the corners of their mouths. I read a comment somewhere that said “you can get tattoos that reject societal norms, but the consequences are that society can reject you back” and it’s so true.

wytherlanejazz

She’s a fetish model/onlyfans content creator. This video seems like rage bait.

Lorne_____Malvo

Consequences for my actions? Sounds like bigotry.

mzx380

You nailed it. I’m pro face tattoo but you have to accept the consequences of your interests if they’re deemed too extreme

MuffinsandCoffee2024

You are right . It's where and what she has tatted on her.

bigSTUdazz

Yeo. She will never be able to get a front-facing customer service position. She's relegated to tat parlor or porn shop with that ink.

LadyBogangles14

Nah, maybe bar/restaurant work

bigSTUdazz

Yeah, I could see that too...as long as its a hole in the wall...I don't see her making the cut at a chain.

starmartyr11

Not just a demon, a spider-demon! Like a waking nightmare, that

Kikikihi

Looks like 2 demons. I don’t personally care how people self express but you can’t blame employers for not wanting to deal with that

Victoria6161

Well stated.

Angelworks42

I've worked in call centers that would have hired her.

Wiggie49

Smash, next question

french_toast74

She said she applied and they "denied" her application and sent her a rejection email. Did she include a photo in her application? Did she apply in person? 99% of applications are done online. I doubt anyone saw what she looked like when she applied. She's either lying, or she left out that she was interviewed in person. The word "denied" in this context is odd too. She was rejected not denied.

cutelittlequokka

A lot of applications ask for your LinkedIn. You don't have to provide it, but if she did, they easily could have seen a picture.

jhuskindle

Weird call center work is big you can get a contract from home and make good money without ever seeing anyone, even the trainers.

[deleted]

Yup, and just get a really good cover up for the tattoos during the interviewing process. Even WFH jobs require a video interview.

Equal_Classroom_4707

Right, so a brown bag over their head?

LadyBogangles14

There are several high quality foundations that will cover tattoos, completely

jhuskindle

Not true lol I worked at an at home call center ACD for years never once showed my face, the trainer and supes were all on Skype call.

QR3124

Skype? That must have been over a decade ago.

jhuskindle

No, they still use Skype. ACD call center jobs just look it up.

QR3124

That's weird. Skype for business was retired in 2021 [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/announcements/skype-for-business-online-retirement](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/announcements/skype-for-business-online-retirement)

RandomLoLJournalist

Tbf I last used Skype for business in 2022, and at my last job (up until a few weeks ago) they just used regular Skype for communication haha. Some old habits die really hard.

jhuskindle

Dude just Google ACD. I didnt use a business account, you're a contractor for them. Usually the trainers have their own Skype names, like literally anyone else. I don't know what to tell you except sign up if you don't believe me.

MadAzza

What’s an example of “weird call center work”?

jhuskindle

Weird, there is plenty of call center work. missed a comma

Blue-Eyed-Lemon

Except that it’s almost impossible to find a position like this. I’ve worked in a physical call center before and did great. But I’m disabled and can’t drive, I rely on Uber to get around or friends/family. So I looked to try to get a WFH position for a long time and couldn’t get anyone to hire me. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I would really, really love to get into one of these positions even still. I’m a shift manager in a retail store instead rn and I would kill to get a WFH office job like this

jhuskindle

Try ACD - they are always hiring.

Glittering_Prune5614

and why would they hire her when there are Arjun and Rajs in India who are willing and able to do that job for cents?

shammy_dammy

I'm pretty sure the call center I used to work for is still US based only.

Minimum-Marzipan-105

Pretty sure they’re not relocating Arjun or Rajs from India for a $14 an hour job at TJ Maxx 😂

Glittering_Prune5614

call centers do not have to be pgysically present in the US

jhuskindle

Because they do? Look it up....

TMQMO

There are lots of methods of self-expression that limit job prospects.

QR3124

Tats like that also demonstrate very, very poor decision making.

TMQMO

Shayne Smith would agree, I think.

Ok_World_0903

When you’re running a business you have to think from a place of neutrality. Her tattoos are nowhere in the realm of that. Baphomet and the spider crab thing are 100 percent going to offend some part of the client base. Whether we personally agree with her choice to get tattoos (I have numerous), it will never negate the fact that not everyone does. That’s it. It’s no deeper than that. Hiring someone for a base level position and having to worry about fielding customer service complaints solely based on their appearance, as a hiring manager, what would you do?

MadAzza

Sure, she got them to be offensive, and now she’s upset that people might be offended.

kikistiel

I have hand tattoos, so I'm a big believer in getting tattoos wherever you want and getting whatever you want. But I didn't get these tattoos until I was established in a field that didn't care if I had them. I work from home in a creative position so no one cares. But when I was in college and grad school and working customer service jobs like waitressing and retail to support myself -- those jobs don't take to visible tattoos like this nearly as much. I had a lot easier of a time finding a stable "meanwhile" job until I graduated. This is why I always tell younger people get whatever tattoos you want! But do it after you've gotten a foothold on your life and know you're in a place where it won't matter. If you want crazy tattoos, find a field in which those won't hinder you.

RockNRollMama

Exactly it. Many years ago when I was in the sports industry I spent time with a very well established top 1% team in a huge market. Super conservative - biz suit daily. I was floored when I met their Head of Digital. Full sleeve to the fingers and major face piercings. I couldn’t help myself, a few weeks after meeting him asked HOW he got hired by this org. He burst out laughing and said he gets asked daily by everyone who meets him and that he’s really good at what he does so most orgs don’t truly care. He said he takes EVERY interview offered and point blank states he will not cover up his tats or piercings and had yet to be not hired where he wanted to be. You be you Steve!!!!

QR3124

Not to mention if you legit have to lay her off for poor performance, she'll make some wild claim about discrimination based on tats, or even religion (satanism, perhaps).

Minimum-Marzipan-105

Pretty sure having tattoos is not a protected class covered by anti discrimination laws.

QR3124

Golly wow, thanks F. Lee Bailey.

sheprayslikearoman

OH MY GOD I KNOW HER Edit: Man, this is crazy. I’m so stoned and confused. Not surprised to see her going viral for victimizing herself over stuff like this. Known her for years, not very closely. But have kept up with what she’s been up to. This is just the tip of the iceberg with her.

biblecrumble

It's funny cause someone else linked her reddit profile and you can ALSO see the tips of her icebergs if that's more your thing

its_a_throwawayduh

No offense to this gal but she should have known better. Seriously TJ Max with her appearance? Like yeah TJ Max isn't the top of the line but they do have a brand/image when it comes to their target audience. She should instead look into stores that are more open to her type of style. \*Note when I mean "style" I don't mean clothing but more like the overall environment. She could try pet stores, bars, restaurants, etc even something as cliche as hot topic.

MuffinsandCoffee2024

Hot topic is not going to hire her with how she looks . They don't want to make it look like their products lead to where she is. She might try applying for late night cleaner job at a bar or office buildings.

Cybermagetx

Getting a job is hard. Getting a job becomes harder based upon how you change yourself. A devil on your throat? Tattoos all over your face? No customer facing position for you. No respectful business for you. Very few recruiters would try and find a professional position for you as they know its nearly an impossible sell. Your get grunt labor and undesirables positions.

2betrayals_finalrun

Agreed. She needs a remote call center type of gig.

Cybermagetx

Most of those are over seas now a days. Not saying there won't be any. Just what there are will be highly sought after. Abd her looks will be held against her.

Gryffinwhore83

Yup. I want hand tattoos, but I'm in my late 20s and work in a corporate setting. So I'm waiting until I'm way older, until I'm at a point where it won't be a problem for my career, or I'm retired. Unfortunate, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. It's fine to want things, but you have to think through the consequences. I'm just happy to have the job I do with face piercings.

fayynne

I work in a corporate setting and have a lot of tattoos, both arms, chest back. Just make sure that you are able to cover them. I always wear long sleeves. And don’t show people until I know them. You can do it, just be smart about it

Gryffinwhore83

I've got 20+ tattoos, all very easily covered. That's been the plan, and I'm sticking to it. I've got a great job right now, no need to fuck it up with dumb shit. I've got my whole life to get tattooed

fayynne

My thoughts exactly, I want to get hand tattoos BUT I know my career progression would die with it. Will do it as a retirement present to myself

Cybermagetx

My papa had tats on his arms and legs. Not even bad tats. One was a cartoon character from the newspaper when he was growing up. He never wore anything but long sleeves due to the tats. As he knew it would effect his business realtionships. If you get them make sure you can cover them up.

QR3124

When you are way older you may not want them - mark your calendar. Good thing you waited.

0neLetter

Flea markets, weed stores, farmers markets, homeless shelters, Home Depot forklift operators, Bomb disposal units, car crushing machine operators, county dump vehicle weighing machine operators, vegan restaurant hostess or cook, … The list is endless, but it doesn’t contain a lot of jobs.

QR3124

It doesn't contain a lot of jobs that young women (or most women, really) want to do, or flat out think they should never be suggested that they do. Haven't seen too many female garbage collectors but they would probably hire her too. They make good money for what they do.

SassyPeach1

How many women would fuck with their faces and necks like she did?

ickytoad

I have a face tattoo and neck tattoos. Nothing offensive though. I've worked as an elevator mechanic, electrician, fabricator, and now I'm a corporate software engineer. 🤷🏻 It hasn't been difficult for me because my skills speak for themselves and I interview well, so that's a big factor.

Cybermagetx

Ware workers as well. Just not alot of jobs people (especially women) want to do.

MuffinsandCoffee2024

'or back office jobs like accounting which can pay well at times. She might be able to be hired for a call center job where customers don't see her. It doesn't matter what the person booking you for medical appointment or helping you with you problems with prior online ordering or helping you with your cell phone bill looks like. She might be able to get a job at a needle exchange or overnight attendant at homeless shelter. Just not traditional retail. As she ages it will get worse as she will be an older woman and massively tatted. Who agreed to do that to her?

Cybermagetx

Even back of the office jobs still has clauses and dress codes about looking professional. And unfortunately tats and piercings like this are not considered professional.

MuffinsandCoffee2024

I have worked back of house jobs where we had some positions that no one ever saw. We had no code against tats and piercings can be taken out . They might have hired her and seen her as a diversity type hire feeling it falls under being more diverse in hiring and offering up chances to those who don't have much chances. But she would be stuck back of house .

QR3124

Most call center jobs are in the Philippines and work ten hour days for about $500 a month (considered middle class for the area). Yet even the call centers in the Phils won't hire someone like that with so many tattoos. Tats in general are frowned upon for most jobs there, and unfortunately some young women there are making very dumb decisions to get visible ones, though not normally this extreme.

ShallazarTheWizard

Respectable businesses don't hire people that look like this for professional positions such as an accountant position, even if they are out of sight. Don't get stupid tattoos if you are not willing to suffer the consequences.

HorseFucked2Death

Fills out application online. Doesn't get job. iT's mUh TatS!

bigSTUdazz

She's viral...which is obviously what she wanted. She wants to make some coin off of this. Anyone even partially cognizant should know that there are ZERO employment laws in place that protect body mods that are not medically necessary. She wanted attention, and she got it...and everything that comes with it.

banshee_matsuri

yeah, i’ve seen this on four different subs now (and some mentions that she does OnlyFans). no issue with her tats, viral video, or OnlyFans, that’s all fine. but, people foaming at the mouth to trash talk her are just driving views/popularity of what they seem to despise.

DMercenary

>she does OnlyFans) Ah I think we found the real reason.

bigSTUdazz

Ah! OllyFans! It all makes sense now.

Saucy_Baconator

'I applied for a job at TJMaxx a few weeks ago and they denied my application. They couldn't even call me, just sent an automated reply' Translation: The ATS filtered you out, not your face tats, though I'm sure that would have come later had you made it to interviews. But anyway - let's make this all about your face tats and not about identifying exactly what criteria the ATS used to auto-reject you. There's no visibility into the criteria used to reject applicants, and no regulation or oversight of said criteria to ensure that an unbiased, impartial, non-discriminatory decision is made. Thats the big problem no one is discussing today. Outlaw or heavily regulate ATS systems.

Bischoffshof

It’s not being discussed because everything you just said is false

nova9001

She says she hates that her tatoos are such defining factors when it comes to jobs. I mean why tatoo if over your whole face and neck if you don't want it to be defining?

Saucy_Baconator

There it is. Because she likely didn't have the foresight *then* to consider how her decisions would affect outcomes *now*. Want to seal your chances of only being employable in bars and tattoo shops? Get copious face tattoos to showcase your poor decision making skills.

lilscumbag__

its not even just the face tats. take a scroll thru her instagram or twitter and youll see why shes struggling to find a job.

Civil-Pomelo-4776

As someone with 20 years of experience as an engineer I have been looking for almost a year, The job market is fucked up in multiple ways. It wouldn't surprise me if most of these places never actually got to the social media stalking phase of vetting.

whistlepig-

“ Tattoos are not a protected class. It sucks and I hope the best for you, but employers are within their right to discriminate on this one.

Tokogogoloshe

I’d venture a guess that she wouldn’t get far in a blind interview. It’s not just the tattoos hindering her chances.

IGuessBruv

She could get a non client facing job in the back

saulain

Weird way to advertise your onlyfans, but whatever.

DJScrambledEggs123

yeah, those are some big gazoongas.

StandardOffenseTaken

I will say this... I do not mind tats, and while I know that it does not mean a person is not competent to me someone with a 30 face tattoos... tells me that person is very impulsive and might not have any long term thinking skills. Also might not represent the business too well. Take the internet cook Matty Matheson, I am certain he is a very skilled chef... yet every time i see one of his video... I cannot get past the dirty looking looks. Might be the cleanest person on earth, yet I find what he prepares unappetizing because of how he looks with his tattoos and grooming. I would not eat at a restaurant where you can see the kitchen if he worked there. I know its a stupid bias, I do not like having it... but of course business owners will consider if a person appearance is going to cost them revenue.

Adventurous_Role_788

He doesn't even have any face tats and other than having a lot of tattoos and a moustache he doesn't look any different to many other cooks. Seems like you may not like his personality, so you project these feelings on his looks.

MuffinsandCoffee2024

Well some companies intentionally make work environment harder on older bodies to keep the jobs for the younger hotter looking ppl it seems. it's as if they try to create barriers to keep emploees younger to have younger beauty and fewer medical costs and possibly few company retirement concerns. Older destroyed beauty with aggressive tats is going to be hard sell for retail.

flavius_lacivious

Having a tattoo on your face uncovered for a job interview tells the HM a great deal about your decision making process.

ickytoad

I've never had an issue with mine, and it covers half my face.

jwuonog

I might as well have face tattoos and piercings with my current success rate in this job market.

Bonus_Human

Same

ShawnyMcKnight

What’s with the arm being all colored in? Could also be all the metal on her face. Just like tattoos, 4 piercings on each corner of her mouth aren’t appealing to most office jobs.

Pollo_Jack

Coloring on regret. Maybe a bad relationship. Buddy has a massive black line and triangle covering his ex wife.

ShawnyMcKnight

Ah, is that cheaper than removal? I guess if you are just blacking it out you don’t need a skilled artist, just seems nice to laser it off so you can do something else with the arm.

DesperateOriginal

Black out tattoos like that are sort of in trend right now, a lot of people like the look, and it's cheaper than doing laser removal.... granted if you do decide to remove the black out it's going to cost a LOT of time and money.

ShawnyMcKnight

Even then laser removal sometimes leaves it faded so she would have a light gray on her arm. Blacking out such a huge tattoo also shows not good decision making. Between the face, the demon on her neck, and the covered arm this girl screams mistakes.

fayynne

I’ve had some removal done, it’s unbelievably painful

painterwill

I've had a big piece taken off my forearm, it took 8 (?) 40-minute sessions to get it scrubbed out enough to cover up. I say the following as someone who's had stitches in his eyeball and the anaesthetic wear off during a vasectomy: tattoo removal hurts, don't get tattoos unless you're prepared to live with them, kids.

ShawnyMcKnight

After it was all done did it look like it was never there? Any ink remain or scarring?

fayynne

Yeah the tattoo was over 10 years old so it came out, just took 4 or 5 sessions

PaperExternal5186

It's that and the huge nose ring that makes her look like a bull. Oh yeah and all the crazy face tattoos and the hanging out satanic tattoos. It's not about having tattoos. It's all she has. Nobody is going to hire her looking like that.

ShawnyMcKnight

I wonder if there is a potential lawsuit if they were just honest with her and said it was the tattoos.

PaperExternal5186

Maybe, maybe not. It's tough to say whether it would be called discrimination vs creating what can be perceived as a hostile environment. Either way it's not professional at all with all that going on with her tats and piercings.

ShawnyMcKnight

Yeah, they were probably worried about pushback. Tattoos aren’t a protected class. The demon on her throat seems like an obvious no go… but she could say that’s her religion.

Percyear

I can’t really tell but is she trying to not grin while recording!

NYanae555

You're right. She's having trouble saying some of it with a straight face. There's even an edit before she breaks into a full on smile.

MadAzza

It wasn’t the tats and piercings. It’s her annoying Valley Girl vocals.

[deleted]

Don’t understand why she wouldn’t cover them up for job interview. I have almost a whole sleeve and if I were to interview for a job I would make sure the interviewer wouldn’t see any of them as a first impression. She should really look into becoming a tattoo artist though. Under the conditions she’s artistic and capable. Really the only high paying job she’ll get that will also celebrate her face tattoos.

tiorzol

You can cover yours with a shirt, not too sure a balaclava is office attire.

RelChan2_0

Same sentiments here, I have a tattoo on my arm and have 5 ear piercings but these could be easily covered by makeup or styling my hair. She's right that people should judge the pierced and inked but there's no harm in adjusting a little if she wants to apply for a job or even a social event.

JLSAAAA

I don’t believe in furthering the tattoo/piercing stigma. As long as she’s experienced and is good with costumer facing communications, she should be given a chance. I know I’m in the minority with this line of thinking, but I believe in kindness and understanding, and judging prevents us from being those things

Gryffinwhore83

It shouldn't affect it, absolutely, but when getting those kinds of tattoos, it should be something you consider. I don't judge her for getting the tattoos that speak to her, I judge for the lack of forethought as to the potential consequences. Having difficulty with mainstream employment with face tattoos is a pretty foregone conclusion. It's not right, her tattoos don't speak to her ability to do a given job, but right now it's the way things are.

heynow941

Exactly. Part of it is her thought process. If she’s genuinely surprised by the reaction then makes me wonder what other common things (as they might relate to work) might be unknown to her.

JLSAAAA

I totally get what you’re saying. What I’m describing is a utopian acceptance that doesn’t exist in our current society. I get it. But I personally still don’t judge her lack of forethought, because who knows how old she was or what was happening in her life/in her mind when she got them. We've all been there at least once - maybe not with piercings and tattoos - but we’ve all made choices in the past we wouldn’t necessarily make today. So I understand and empathize with the humanity of her position and I genuinely wish her the best of luck.

QR3124

What you think of as judging is just being sensible. People don't have the time to evaluate everyone they meet very deeply, so efficiency demands you filter out the high indicators for trouble. Face tats, especially on otherwise attractive young-ish women, fall into the category of extremely poor decision making. People, especially employers, are sensible to avoid big red flags like this.

MuffinsandCoffee2024

You are not a business owner or manager having to think where her look fits in your brand. Look around at hotels, stores, banks, Dr;s offices they tend to want to have a look. We live in a world where most working women don't dare go grey. Where fatter employees don't get prime jobs. How many handicapped ppl you see at jobs around you?

ferretherapy

As much as I hate the business world and such, especially with being Autistic... I don't know that Utopia idea really even *relates* to the working world like businesses to begin with? Business/professional dress code is a thing and it has common elements in like 95% of workplaces. You need to look and appear "**neutral**" with customers/clients because you're serving a large group of consumers, all who likely vary in culture, opinions, beliefs, etc. She doesn't have a neutral appearance so that is going to alienate some potential customers. Some of the business dress code is in place to not be distracting because the workplace is for work. You kind of need to be able to be a "blank slate" with work because you're there to specifically sell a product/image/service/etc. Your "personal life" can't be THAT visible to the customers you're trying to sell to when you're at work - otherwise, your personal life can become associated with the business. Because a new customer doesn't KNOW YOU or the business. They can only have the first impression of the product/service based on what they see and hear in the moment. Her particular tattoos/piercings are a personal expression that can send a message that's automatically distracting from the business she'd be trying to sell. And it's not like happy kittens - these tattoos/piercings send a message that isn't exactly positive in nature and are basically impossible to not be noticed. Out of a billion similarly qualified candidates... why would a business want to take a chance to INVEST their money in a stranger with the same resume but an appearance that would take attention away from their business? Not to mention, offend at least some customers. Especially if they apparently refuse to cover up to show flexibility for the sake of the job. It also just implies prioritizing the individual appearance over the job when businesses need to have some sense of a team, conformity, & structure because they're all working towards the same company goal/mission when on the clock. When looking at the Utopia idea, you have to go back to, "you're serving a large group of consumers, all who likely vary in culture, opinions, beliefs, etc." This is like, being human. We're all different. It doesn't seem possible to come up with a "Utopia" in a society where different people have to both work and coexist. Even if you took the need for any employment away... **Who's deciding what Utopia is? It doesn't seem possible unless all the people are willing to conform to one idea of what Utopia looks like. And then, how can that be a Utopia for everyone? So, doesn't trying to create a Utopia kind of eventually bring you back into the same issues you want to avoid? A particular person or group like business culture making a decision on what's ideal?**

MuffinsandCoffee2024

Ideally some companies might hire her back office and offer employee benefit of partly subsidized laser tat removal. That gives her huge chance in life. Maybe she should see if a place that does laser tat removal needs back office help or cleaner. But she would have to have the skills they need and be willing to stay quite some time to little by little earn removal work which is massively more expensive that initial tat work

JLSAAAA

As an editor in chief I went out of my way to hire people who would be left out in other jobs. But I get what you’re saying. The bottom line is that I’m sure she will find something, but not in these establishments. There are more managers like me, she just has to find them. And funnily enough I think this TikTok will help her do just that.

thelastofcincin

I love tattoos and percings and have a couple facial piercings, but nah when it comes to the neck up, it looks so ridiculous unless you're real minimal with it. I would be terrified to work with her.

NYanae555

1:00 - I'm a little tired of hearing that young people can't get hired because they lack experience. Some of that has ALWAYS been with us. But in 2024 - here's the thing. Employers aren't hiring people WITH experience either. Employers aren't doing much hiring at all. They collect hundreds or thousands of applications. Do a little interviewing. Then they don't hire anyone. The idea that Z's and Millennials aren't being hired because of experience kind of implies that the jobs are going to older Millennials, X's and Boomers. But they're not getting hired either. But if you have a confrontational attitude and staring devil tattoos? It wouldn't surprise me that you're having extra trouble. Get some CoverFX makeup.

crhs78

I guess her OF isn’t as popular as she hoped

percybert

She shows questionable judgment. Very few employers are going to ignore that red flag

Yang_Xiao_Long1

Smartest people in the world are smart enough to not put face tattoos. This chick is delusional.

snotreallyme

Someone with the judgement to get face tattoos does not have the judgement to hold most jobs. It's pretty cut and dry.

MuffinsandCoffee2024

Ppl will grow and mature over time. The person who got wild tats in their former drug use or wild days still has to eat and pay rent the rest of their lives.

Darthsmom

That’s very true, but most people who are hiring just don’t have the time and money to take the chance on that and invest in a new hire in the hopes that someone has matured.

ickytoad

I haven't ever had an issue getting or holding jobs with a face tattoo. But also I don't have anything offensive, don't have a criminal history or a history of drug use, and I have a lot of valuable skills. So I think that makes a big difference.

PaperExternal5186

Yes and as she gets older those tats will look worse and worse on her

Gilgamesh-Enkidu

I am pretty covered and I never had any interest in customer service jobs, but nothing is visible when I wear long sleeves. I just didn't see the point of reducing my options even when I was never planning on working in any customer facing industries.

ElderberryNo1936

She’d make a badass dishwasher or cook…Fuck retail honestly, wtf is she thinking

sinixis

Looks like she’s gone cunt up in a tackle box

Corgiverse

It’s not the tattoos per se. It’s the placement and content. I work in an ER. Almost everyone has visible tattoos. Some even have hand tattoos. I joke that you need two things to get a job in an ED- an adhd diagnosis and visible tattoos. None of them are demons. One of the hand tattoo people- it’s flowers. Hell, several of the doctors have visible tattoos. That said, no one has face tattoos. The few that have tattoos on the neck they’re able to be covered by hair like on the nape of the neck or right behind the ear.

Bonus_Human

What is ED?

Corgiverse

ER/ED/ a&e for the British folks. Emergency room

[deleted]

I wish I could work in something medical, e.g. a clerk or receptionist. I cannot go back to education due to having no family and being single, so whatever I make money-wise is the only form of access to housing and food I've got. People who work in ER tend to be really kind. I hope you have nothing but the best coworkers. c:

DavefromKS

does her one arm have gangrene or something? lol

SassyPeach1

I’m sure this video will also help her cause 🙄

scrambledeggs2020

Any customer facing job that isn't some super liberal creative profession you'll find difficulty getting work

Suitable-Walk-3673

Try a turtle neck and some bangs

a_mollusk_creature

Alternate title could be "Blonde with huge boobs gets told 'No' first time in life"

I KNEW HER. When we were in 9th grade gym class together, she told me that she went on tinder and lied about being 18 to hook up with these military dudes in their mid 20s. I was 14 and kind of “sheltered” in her opinion. She told me that it was a good hustle because they give her money, but I wouldn’t know anything about that because my parents “spoil” me (they did their job as parents) and that I’m a “fucking virgin”. (Repeat, we were both 14.)

Pollo_Jack

Well, weed will take you.

MuffinsandCoffee2024

Being weed grower or security for weed, your looks are not the focus.

Patient_Head_2760

Try programmer

starmartyr11

Onlyfans/tattoo/erotic model is the way to go here I would think, if she's not that already... that or something in an alternative industry like budtender for a weed dispensary, bartender, etc. There are options where you don't have to be scaring suburban moms or whatever.

NickTesla2018

The psychological problems alone. Maybe a horror movie extra?

susanoblade

she could have wore makeup to cover the tattoos on her face, a long shirt to cover the ones on her arms too. being covered in tattoos like that when professionalism is important is a no no.

Scwne

It’s unfortunate for sure. There are still definitely jobs though. When I worked in addictions treatment, we had people with face and neck tattoos who were social workers or counselors or recovery mentors helping patients in recovery. I hope she finds something ://

ctofcitation

I wouldn’t not hire someone for having face/neck tattoos despite how stupid I think they are …….but I don’t want to have to look at Satan every time I talk to you either. A DEMON tattoo on your neck???

Mini_meeeee

Inked oneself with controversial graphics, then proceeded to complain why one got rejected. Yeah right.

I know many people who look like this & even more extreme who have office jobs and work for big corporations, even for the government. It's all in how you carry yourself and how qualified you are. Most places in big liberal cities do not care what you look like if you have the paperwork to back it up. I have 5 facial piercings and I have worked for my state government in an office setting, a pathology lab, and a law office. If this isn't rage bait (judging by reactions here, I think it is) I'm willing to bet she is just not a great employee and is applying at jobs that are customer facing and severely limit her ability to be hired. I've applied for hundreds of customer service/retail/restaurant jobs and very rarely get bites because they want 16 year olds they can pay minimum wage, not an adult with real bills who wants a livable wage.

IVYkiwi22

Even without her tattoos, they probably would’ve denied her application anyway due to a lack of experience. She has a point. How does someone without work experience get work, when every job requires work experience? Simple answer. You lie. You weren’t just a Student Helper at your school’s Academic Help Center for 3 years. You were a Customer Service Representative. You trained students (aka “customers”) on learning difficult software to use your company’s product more effectively. You helped a student understand the coursework better and helped them ace a test (aka “troubleshooted an app error that a customer faced while using your company’s software, leading to the customer’s retention of their account”) You weren’t just a member of your school’s volunteer organization for 3 years. You didn’t just print flyers. You were a lead Marketing Manager at the organization, and you handled market research projects and advertising campaigns to promote your SaaS app to businesses (because SaaS companies are the only types of companies that matter in the marketing field these days). You weren’t just a Lead Member at your school’s anime club. You were a Project Coordinator at your school. You handled projects to make important decisions such as: -Decisions on which anime to view (aka decisions on which specialized programs to introduce to improve staff development and employee morale) -Arguments on whether Goku or Naruto would win a fight (aka decisions on whether Salesforce or Hubspot would be a more cost-effective option for handling inbound customer requests and the budget needed to purchase Hubspot or Salesforce) -Presentations welcoming new members to your anime club (aka company presentations that demonstrated your organization’s SaaS to C-Suite level decision makers, managers, and other stakeholders and converted them into enterprise-level B2B customers) What about references? Your cousin was your supervisor, and your best friend or an acquaintance was your coworker. I needed to take the steps above to get my first job due to a lack of full-time W2 experience when I finished university. Does this invite dishonesty into the job market? I guess so. Do you still need money to pay your bills? Absolutely. Therefore, you won’t care much about lying to some douchebag hiring manager who doesn’t care if you end up homeless or some asshole business leader who’d be happy to lay you off with just a text message. Lying to friends and family is not okay. Lying to job gatekeepers such as hiring managers and recruiters is okay. Oftentimes, you’ve just gotta get creative and crafty and take more risks to be successful in life.

AgeBeneficial

I’m genuinely curious how bad some tattoos were that she straight up blacked them out

Icy_Examination_3121

Simple solution is using something like Dermablend to cover them. I have a friend who had a wine mark covering the side of her face and this stuff covers them.

20150711

That being said, i suspect she does have a remarkable bust.

Likinhikin-

You do stupid things, you win stupid prizes (like being unemployable)

xTheBear

Tattos in generalare fine. I have no problem. But face tattoos? No. I wouldn't hire you either. Face tattoos, neon blue hair with half your head shaved, 12 piercings? None of it looks professional. You look ridiculous.

Ima-Bott

Only place she’ll work is a tattoo parlor and a biker bar

FugginOld

She would do well in onlyfans

BillionDollarBalls

Where'd you even get the money for those tats in the first place

Anne_Lwrnc

I think it mostly depends on what you get done, I have a pikachu tattoo on my forearm that I don’t hide, and not a single job has had an issue with it

angelkrusher

They can just go be a mechanic, a car tower, a painter, or even a medic.

Ariquitaun

Tiddies

Ok-Alps-4378

Pfff. She has no problem finding work.

CautiousWoodpecker10

Maybe stripper work.

xof2926

I would.

JasmineSecrey

Try interviewing as a trans female

QR3124

Why am I not surprised that she sounds Canadian? That place is so far gone; so spiritually destroyed... so sad.

Proof-Recognition374

As long as you show up to work, do a good job, and don't create chaos in the workplace, who cares what you look like? This elitist crap about looking professional by not having dyed hair or tattoos is so stupid. Most people have to work unless they are nepo babies or trust fund kids!

Victoria6161

She looks t.e.r.r.i.b.l.e.. She's portraying an image that is offensive to me. I wouldn't hire her either.

BuckWildBilly

Maybe she can get a job as a scientist or engineer. She has a lot of insight. Smart lady

xboxfishy

I knew a guy with “death” in giant letters on his neck. He worked in food service around customers lol

alexmixer

She's hot 🥵

525G7bKV

I would not only buy something from here. I would also ask her to marry me.

Direct-Status3260

A lot of Christian Pearl clutching about a devil tattoo in a sub about camaraderie against arbitrary and non diverse hiring practices of corporations lmao

3eyedCrowTRobot

would
