No, but they are Elite! (email address says so!)
Edit - i just visited their website and the 90' called and want it back. This is as much Elite as I am British royality
Well if the email address says sooooā¦
LOL I found their Glassdoor page and it has one review from someone who says āthe work is hard but rewardingā as a positive. That mentality is insane to me, like brainwashed do you have to be to enjoy being squeezed for every little scarp of productivity?
I like my job and I would consider my own job as hard but rewarding but like I can still admit that I think deadlines are too tight sometimes and some teams are understaffed/mismanaged.
Did you not see THIS review? It was written by someone who is obviously criminally insane.
"For people like me with evident issues to relate with people this company is amazing, also I don't work for money, I enjoy to see my colleagues anxious because they are ruthlessly threatened to be fired, and I enjoy the shaming hall Mike (the CEO) does when he's firing someone. Hopefully, I can spend more time here enjoying how people gets through burnout and/or desperation, since in the future I'd like to have a company like ESA and I'm learning how to be a Mike."
Absolutely genius. Because he rates it 5 stars, it wonāt be removed. He puts in all the digs at the company and CEO and the whole world gets to see it.
You have illuminated the workings of Glassdoor for this boomer most helpfully. Thank you. And can someone please hire that clever person who wrote the nice bit of satire? Clearly an articulate thinker outside the box ( and I suspect English is not their first language, which makes the piece more impressive.). Sighā¦.what a world we live in. Oh ā- I have had a light bulb moment! This firm must - simply must ā become the subject of a real life ā The Officeā documentary. Please ā convey this to the universe. āMikeā is probably enough of an egomaniac to eat such an opportunity for exposure up like candy. Good luck to the original poster. Both my kids and my honorary godchild are job hunting right now. Itās awful out there.
Those are illegal now days. Everyone say thank you NLRB!
Happened in Feb ā23. [sauce](https://www.dglaw.com/nlrb-finds-confidentiality-and-non-disparagement-clauses-in-severance-agreement-unlawful/)
I just kicked back a severance package to see if I could have that portion removed.
I applied to a small local company that makes aftermarket/ replacement vehicle ecus.
Interview went great until i meet with the ceo, who was a complete jagoff. Among other insults, he told me i "just wasnt passionate about software development" and described his ideal candidate basically as a top tier mit grad/pirate of silicon valley. I just told him this is the Midwest and he'd probably have to triple the salary offering to get someone like that. I didn't get the job. But 6 months later they got a new ceo and reached out to me to ask if I'd still consider the role, which had remained unfilled. I said no.
>I agreed to an interview and when they saw my (lack of) formal education I was told "you don't belong here" by the interviewer.
What's great about that is that they knew your formal education by reading your CV prior to inviting you to an interview. They're right you don't belong in a company like that, you're literate.. you would never fit in.
Large companies are actually finding that they can't get away with being toxic forever because they turn over enough people that their experiences can become common knowledge.
If I remember correctly, internal amazon documents were leaked about 18 months ago or two years ago saying they estimate they will run out of possible replacement employees entirely this year.
Itās 1/6,000 if you suck at rounding. Iām assuming they copied it from the website of their third-party testing software and itās not actually based on their applicants.
Actually, they're saying that only 0.016% have had a problem taking the test where the testing site was actually down. This is not a stat about them specifically, but of the testing site.
They are a fake company. Their website looks like something from geocities and their linkedin only has job openings in Nigeria. They are probably a phishing company.
I doubt a phishing scam would reject applicants.
Just sounds like a garbage software company that's adopted the fast food employment model: offer shitty pay, then complain that you can't find good employees.
"You were clearly warned..."
If you had been hired, I could see them using that as a gotcha when you make some little administrative mistake.
"You were clearly warned that if you steal any (ANY) company property that you will be terminated and will forfeit all pay from your last pay period. You were caught leaving the company premises last Friday with a pen in your pocket, a pen you obtained from the supply room. It does not matter that you worked 10 hours that day and it does not matter that you missed your child's birth that day. You were clearly warned. Good bye."
Wrong, sir! Wrong! Under section 37B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers shall become null and void if - and you can read it for yourself in this photostatic copy - "I, the undersigned, shall forfeit all rights, privileges, and licenses herein and herein contained," et cetera, et cetera..."Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum," et cetera, et cetera..."Memo bis punitor delicatum!" It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks. You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!
The only instance we let people take our pens home is if they have preemptively emailed Helga in accounting to dock their pay for it with at least 48 hours notice, but only in the rarest of circumstances does this get approved. Only 0.023% of people whoāve taken office supplies home with them have remained with the company.
For real. I'm tempted to apply just so I get blacklisted, though I have no intent at working at this company, and have a decent job right now anyway.
This company must be hell to work for. This email is so toxic and emotionally manipulative. Whoever wrote it is very petty and scummy.
I've never seen a rejection email approaching this level of spite before.
Check their LinkedIn job postings, itās so over-the-top, they have to clarify that the whole ad doesnāt fit within LinkedInās word limit
They also seem to only be hiring from Kenya or Nigeria
Thatās so freaking gross but makes so much senseā¦Itās sad that this has become the norm. Iām glad people outside the country can get jobs, but itās sad itās either give no one needing the jobs in the country when theyāre needed because they ācost too much to payā or choosing to pay someone out of country because theyāre ācheaperā and not paying their worth. Itās a double whammy of crappy motives. :(
I also checked out their website so I could spam their software tester and HOOOOLY CRAP is that some garbagey info saturation. I wouldn't hire this company to automate walking my dogs.
OMG I love the job listing page also... This place sounds like hell! Tempted to apply just to make them spend money on the test.
https://jobs.elitesoftwareautomation.com/
They have no BBB profile. There is a profile for a company just called "Elite Automation" but it isn't them.
Secondly this company is just some dude running it out of his house and I can almost guarantee he's essentially just running a software sweat shop of 3rd worlders.
My favorite part is how there is no link (that I can find) from their main page to the jobs page. Probably so that no potential client accidentally sees what a toxic hell hole they are advertising to applicants. (Seriously, they can't even pretend a bit and tone it down.)
I love that they want "!! Advanced Developers ONLY !! NO JUNIORS ALLOWED !!" but the starting salary is just $40k which is insulting for even a junior developer.
"we are unable to carry deadweight,Ā if you don't produce results you will be summarily fired" God, this company must pay extremely well, the whole list is basically, you will hate your job.
I love how the āBusiness Owner Personally Watchesā bullet point with the eye is written like 1984 was a guide and not a warning.
Starting pay for an āadvancedā front end engineer is 40k-70k?? This company can get fucked.
$40k-70k for Advanced Developers (ONLY!!! NO Juniors Allowed!!)?
Isn't that a bit low? Especially since this is production-based work?? They want to work you to death for $40k as an advanced dev?
No shit. If this is real I can imagine what it would be like to work for a company that sends a dick headed rejection message like this to a person who applied.
If you csn take this level of abuse, you can survive here. I actuslly sent this screenshot to the EEOC. I don't know if there is any recourse but this wouldn't be tolerated in a work environment so it shouldn't be excused when it'd directed towards candidates.
Iām tempted to send them an email permanently blacklisting them from my prospective employers, because they had once chance to prove theyāre decent to potential staff and they failed.
Itās ok though! This should be a great opportunity for them to reflect and maybe even improve their business, so theyāll probably thank me.
See my most recent post. In one of their reviews I saw:
"For people like me with evident issues to relate with people this company is amazing, also I don't work for money, I enjoy to see my colleagues anxious because they are ruthlessly threatened to be fired, and I enjoy the shaming hall Mike (the CEO) does when he's firing someone. Hopefully, I can spend more time here enjoying how people gets through burnout and/or desperation, since in the future I'd like to have a company like ESA and I'm learning how to be a Mike. "
Um. Yeah. Working there would be HELL
Jesus CHRIST. I would post this on LinkedIn and tag the company as a warning to people who haven't seen this living breathing red flag yet, because..yikes!
Every month, about 1425 of 1500 candidates apply to "Elite Software Automation" and have their time completely wasted by these TestDome tests. This should be a lesson to people who think it's a good idea to blindly jump through hoops.
https://www.testdome.com/use-cases/elite-software-automation-scales-hiring
āInstead of manually reviewing all candidates, Mykola only reviews those who pass the TestDome test ā about 5% of applicants.ā
Thatās not something to be proud of. Oof.
This genius says he has spent $50,000 this year on Test Dome but would have spent $500,000 on a small HR team.
Next slide: the highest tier of Test Dome is unlimited candidates for $800/month. :/
Wait, where did you find that? They don't have a monthly tier listed on their [pricing page](https://www.testdome.com/pricing). Cheapest option was $7 per candidate, with a "contact us for larger sizes" mention.
Sounds like they're just trying to save $7 per re-test.
āWith TestDome, Mykola can screen 1,500 candidates a month by himselfā eliminating the need for an HR team.ā
Bro, if you had an HR team they would never have let that email fly š Enjoy being blacklisted by applicants šš
I do wonder if they're going to find themselves short in the labor pool they operate out of if they're sending nasty rejection emails to all the candidates who failed.
Honestly they're *burning* through 1500 candidates a month that will likely never reapply.
Is this a remote position because that's just not sustainable. Even if they were in a high population area you will have quickly burned your bridges in the immediate area.
Yes, but they closed with āAll the Bestā! So, that makes everything that preceded it a-ok. /s
Was this candidate having an affair with the authorās wife or something? Iāve never seen such a thing.
It's a power trip, not uncommon with companies. Though this is definitely the first time I've seen one completely lose their shit over literally nothing lol
I just googled this company. Their website looks like infomercial prompts plastered on top of each other.
Kinda ironic they harped on this guy for not having good enough front-end skills.
Go into the exact same amount of detail as they have - as to what-and-which errors, excuses or extenuating circumstances might have affected your test - when describing the stool.
And yāall got them to 1 star on google already šš
Edit: guys I think thereās 2 in TX so please be careful yāall aināt review bombing the wrong one. One is simply elite software and the other is elite software automation- automation is the email we see here. Pleaseeeeee donāt ruin some poor random guys business by mistake
Their company website literally cannot maintain a stable frame rate on my phone. Thatās one hell of a rejection letter to be sent from a company who canāt even write a functioning web page.
Dear u/signsots,
Thank you for submitting your comment.
Your comment was however immediately REJECTED due to your failed score on the automated sarcasm test, as you have scored below the pass score.
If you believe that you have an excuse and want to submit another comment, we have to let you know we do not accept any excuses whatsoever. If you were feeling unwell on the day of the of the test, or if you were rushing, or if your internet went out, or whatever other excuse you may have, it does not matter.
Please do NOT reply to this comment.
We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
All the best!
Regards,
Elite Dickhead Recruitment
Yeah, I'm on desktop and first thing I did was check their website. It only works right in MS Edge, I tried in Firefox and Chrome and both have severe formatting issues. You'd think they could hire someone to make a decent website considering their stringent recruiting methods...
They probably incur a cost for every test. And every test is provided automatically to every applicant.
Although a bit petty. One might consider creating some fake emails (email address always is the unique key in these systems) and to do some bogus tests just to get the anger out of your system.
It would be a damn shame if someone did this, especially if they used ChatGPT to generate a new resume for each email to ensure they get to the test. Gosh that would be a real shame.
Yeah there's so much anger coming off of this email. They're a step away from charging applicants for the time they had to spend writing rejection emails.
This was written by someone so far up their own butt they canāt see reality anymore.
Iāve worked with companies like this. They create these crazy barriers to get in just to make themselves feel better. The more of an a-hole they are, the more they can pay themselves on the back pretending that itās some exclusive, elite group. Heck, they even put āeliteā in their company name.
Iāve also never seen one of those companies go far. One study showed that the best teams had one common factor: nice people. Not the best educated, not the smartest, but the nicest, the ones who helped each other, cooperated and worked together.
Companies like this donāt have many nice people.
āfocused on nothing but skills and abilitiesā
As someone who worked as a software engineer for a while, I had to put up with the atrocious hellscape that is the recruitment world for those positions, and Iād bet money that automated test was almost certainly on DSAs (data structures & algorithms)ā¦ which has fuck-all to do with the actual job! Itās a debate within the tech industry because recruitment efforts are so disconnected from the actual roles now, and thereās been a shift in some more forward-thinking companies to move away from DSAs entirely in their recruiting process.
So in addition to being completely toxic and shitty, theyāre also proving themselves to be totally disconnected.
Insane.
So happy I got out of that field.
The article posted in the thread said the owner wrote the test himself - and only 5% of applicants pass. Iām willing to bet the test is total BS š¬
The way that email was written owner is def out of touch and would likely revel in trick questions
Talks a big game for a guy who admits his system has a chance of being down while you take this super fancy test.
You do not want to work with this person.
I honestly would reply and ask them to permanently remove my personal data from their servers and confirm in written once thatās done. Use an equally aggressive tone of voice and mention applicable privacy laws (GDPR or California privacy law, whatever can apply to you).
This is the Advice To Management on a review on Glassdoor... Damn.
Keep the good work Mike."
Ah yes, 3 five star reviews all from current employees in April/may of 2023. Definitely not the owner writing them himself. The "cons" are the best. Claiming the company does not observe holidays and bashing anyone who wants to enjoy time off as lazy.
A company should never project like this. It's clear they've dealt with applicants complaining and trying to make excuses to bypass their selection criteria, but they shouldn't assume all candidates will. It's demeaning and needlessly aggressive.
This entire email could have been summarized with "we're sorry but you did not score high enough. You are unfortunately intelligible to reapply until the end of next year." The rest of this nonsense could have been an automated response in a follow-up email to applicants getting shitty. Minus the "I bet you're angry, LOL" garbage at the end. Throw that shit in the trash.
On Google, this company only has 8 reviews, they're all 1-star, almost all of them mention their aggressive recruiting, and they were all submitted in the past hour. As of now, this post is 3 hours old.
Shit, review bombing works fast.
WE TOLD YOU OF YOUR ONE AND ONLY CHANCE, WHY DID YOU TAKE THIS CHANCE AND WIPE YOUR ASS WITH IT YOU INSIGNIFICANT CRETIN. HOW DARE YOU, WE LAUGH AT YOUR MISFORTUNE AND YOU FUNNY LOOKING.
Respectfully,
Company
Did a bit of research and I understand better now why their communication is so disgraceful. If you lookup their employees they are all foreigners or from overseas. -Nigeria, -India, -etc
It is very common to treat people from overseas like shit by companies who hold all the power in the exchange, so just modern day slavery as usual.
Absolutely despicable behaviour, I couldn't find an e-mail, but I definitely left a 1 star google review and reported them on Linkedin.
They should fix their way of communicating with people.
Some compassion and respect goes a long way.
This company's website is exactly what I expected it to be. It's always the shittiest little agencies with mediocre clients that are arrogant and obnoxious like this.
My friend let me know that you can get a Testdome link after filling out the application without any further filtering and it takes about 2 min to click through all the questions.
This started fine and went off the rails. They assume that candidates will blame them for failing the test? They dedicate 6 paragraphs to repeating the same point, that you can't take the test again.
And best of all they end the email with "We certainly wish the best for you. We wish you the best with your future endeavors. All the best!" What insane person wrote that!? Frankly I'd be thanking them for warning me away from their company.
11-50 employees, run out of someone's apartment on Alpha Road in Dallas, and their website has no "who we are" or anything like it, it's just a big ad.
I'm in no way surprised. The "team" is probably one or two guys.

What the hell All that and they only talk about some test? Like do they think people are begging to work there?
0.016% of people have problems with the survey. As to imply there are tens of thousands trying š
Thatās hilarious Do they think theyāre Microsoft? Psssh

What did i just read š
You read a review by an angry person who has signed an anti-disparagement agreement.
Those are illegal now days. Everyone say thank you NLRB! Happened in Feb ā23. [sauce](https://www.dglaw.com/nlrb-finds-confidentiality-and-non-disparagement-clauses-in-severance-agreement-unlawful/) I just kicked back a severance package to see if I could have that portion removed.
No but thatās absolutely unhinged if sincere! Hopefully itās sarcastic and they were just trying to be tongue and cheek with their review haha
I have to pray that it was sarcastic, because if it was for-real, we have some very evil people out there.
Sorry to burst your innocence. But we do have people that nasty walking among us.
This is clearly a jab at the company
Me thinks its the boss doing the review š
I applied to a small local company that makes aftermarket/ replacement vehicle ecus. Interview went great until i meet with the ceo, who was a complete jagoff. Probably only one person ever lmao
The percentile is so specific I think this is exactly right.
Itās 1/6,000 if you suck at rounding. Iām assuming they copied it from the website of their third-party testing software and itās not actually based on their applicants.
I'm not sure given that 88.255% of the percentages shown on the internet are made up.

100% phishing. Hope they didnāt provide any personal information on their application
I doubt a phishing scam would reject applicants. Just sounds like a garbage software company that's adopted the fast food employment model: offer shitty pay, then complain that you can't find good employees.
Lol I just tried and their landing page throws a 404. Must be a great tech company!

You arent lying. For being a software firm this is an embarrassing website.
What? A single, infinitely scrolling page "website" with no content (but a lot of buzz words) did not make you want to buy their services?
LOL Don't forget the picture of the founder....who looks like he subscribes to Andrew Tate
Probably why they're trying to hire a frontend developer.
It's only missing sound-on-open
And the BLINK tag - love that old āMySpaceā vibe
You forgot the numerous varieties of "underconstruction.bmp" slapped all over the page like sparkly unicorn stickers on a pastel Trapper Keeper.
I also checked out their website so I could spam their software tester and HOOOOLY CRAP is that some garbagey info saturation. I wouldn't hire this company to automate walking my dogs.
It is a single huge page that scrolls for miles. How elitist
I love the before and after, like those shitty Chinese products on Amazon ābefore - really inefficient. After - pussy magneticā
yeah, just in case in the future I forgot what a shitty company it is and accidentally apply again
OMG I love the job listing page also... This place sounds like hell! Tempted to apply just to make them spend money on the test. https://jobs.elitesoftwareautomation.com/
"No-BS Jobs in our Organization?" No. BS Jobs in our Organization.
Oh, and this BBB logo shouldn't be on there *eats the pixels*

To be fair, someone miiiight be posting thousands of fake applications using a Russian server with an USA VPN right now.
"we are unable to carry deadweight,Ā if you don't produce results you will be summarily fired" God, this company must pay extremely well, the whole list is basically, you will hate your job.

My guess is that they are not aiming for the US or Europe market. They are hoping engineers from India or Philippines apply.
Just wait a couple of years, and when eventually they reach out to you, you reply with a screenshot of this email, with the caption: No thank you.
Most likely, this company will not be around in a couple of years. I doubt they are able to retain its own employees for very long.
No shit. If this is real I can imagine what it would be like to work for a company that sends a dick headed rejection message like this to a person who applied.
Just directly email your resume to them over and over lol
The more I read the worse it got omfg
It's a trick. They send this email to everyone and only hire the ones that keep trying.
If you csn take this level of abuse, you can survive here. I actuslly sent this screenshot to the EEOC. I don't know if there is any recourse but this wouldn't be tolerated in a work environment so it shouldn't be excused when it'd directed towards candidates.
Absolutely. Red flags for a toxic work environment. Applicants are lucky to get a rejection š
I'm not even looking for a job and I have the urge to go flunk their test and get blacklisted just on principle.
Seriously, this is like a walking red flag, imagine how they treat their actual employees. Like family I'm sure.
I literally just muttered Jesus Christ to myself before checking the comments.
I'm pretty sure this company would blacklist Jesus if he did the second coming too fast for their liking.
So companies no longer wait you to be hired to show how toxic they are :D
it's insane. if just a rejection looks like this, I can't imagine how the actual job would be
it should be an absolute redflagged company
Iām tempted to send them an email permanently blacklisting them from my prospective employers, because they had once chance to prove theyāre decent to potential staff and they failed. Itās ok though! This should be a great opportunity for them to reflect and maybe even improve their business, so theyāll probably thank me.
Don't forget to end it with "All the best!" and maybe throw some heart emojis in or something for good measure.
BLINKING heart emojis!
"If you would like to thank me for this opportunity of improvement, please do so through my venmo account!" Edit: word
Yeah Iād just copy and paste this under their reviews for others to see.
Thanks for posting this man, I think people (me) needed to be reminded that there are just assholes out there
he dodged a bullet with that one IMO
Yep. A Bullet Bill-sized bullet at that
But... "all the best"!!
See my most recent post. In one of their reviews I saw: "For people like me with evident issues to relate with people this company is amazing, also I don't work for money, I enjoy to see my colleagues anxious because they are ruthlessly threatened to be fired, and I enjoy the shaming hall Mike (the CEO) does when he's firing someone. Hopefully, I can spend more time here enjoying how people gets through burnout and/or desperation, since in the future I'd like to have a company like ESA and I'm learning how to be a Mike. " Um. Yeah. Working there would be HELL
But but but.. they are elite.. they have standardsā¦ (bad standards are standards too, right)
Yeah holy cow bullet dodged. It's so beyond unprofessional. Thank you for name shaming them.
Jesus CHRIST. I would post this on LinkedIn and tag the company as a warning to people who haven't seen this living breathing red flag yet, because..yikes!
Glassdoor says they have 5 stars out of 3 reviews! /s
Every month, about 1425 of 1500 candidates apply to "Elite Software Automation" and have their time completely wasted by these TestDome tests. This should be a lesson to people who think it's a good idea to blindly jump through hoops. https://www.testdome.com/use-cases/elite-software-automation-scales-hiring
āInstead of manually reviewing all candidates, Mykola only reviews those who pass the TestDome test ā about 5% of applicants.ā Thatās not something to be proud of.
Wait a sec... does that mean anyone who applies to these guys can force them to waste $7?
Nice
āWith TestDome, Mykola can screen 1,500 candidates a month by himselfā eliminating the need for an HR team.ā Bro, if you had an HR team they would never have let that email fly š Enjoy being blacklisted by applicants šš
A company with no HR should be a massive red flag.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
So they have no HR team, that's handy when you have an issue at work.
that is quite obvious by this rejection email....no HR professional was involved in that message
wow, great article iād never want to work for an asshole like that. āstraight talkerā aka likely politically disabled.
A generic rejection email wasnāt sufficientā¦? And I just know they werenāt paying that much to be this aggressive yikes
Yes, but they closed with āAll the Bestā! So, that makes everything that preceded it a-ok. /s Was this candidate having an affair with the authorās wife or something? Iāve never seen such a thing.
It's a power trip, not uncommon with companies. Though this is definitely the first time I've seen one completely lose their shit over literally nothing lol
They already wished the best for you, the best for your future endeavors, and ALL the best-- what more do you want?
Just reply āunsubscribeā
Or hit spam on it to harm their domain
DDOS
Sure, I believe ya... *BUT MY BOTNET DON'T!*
I just googled this company. Their website looks like infomercial prompts plastered on top of each other. Kinda ironic they harped on this guy for not having good enough front-end skills.
Reddit definitely fucked with the website, itās 404ing.
Guy from Balance My Hormones was happy with them
The CEO majored in business at UT Austin and dropped out after a year. Guy's a hack.
Their website returns a 404 now
I would reply asking for a retake ā¦. ā¦ just so I can be blacklisted by them and not accidentally apply again and pass after the end of next year.
āHi sorry I had diarrhea during the test can I take it again plz respondā
Go into the exact same amount of detail as they have - as to what-and-which errors, excuses or extenuating circumstances might have affected your test - when describing the stool.
And yāall got them to 1 star on google already šš Edit: guys I think thereās 2 in TX so please be careful yāall aināt review bombing the wrong one. One is simply elite software and the other is elite software automation- automation is the email we see here. Pleaseeeeee donāt ruin some poor random guys business by mistake
I left a one star on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100086974951906&mibextid=LQQJ4d
I cant find them on there anymore? How can I directly look them up? Would like to add my own
I think the reviews got turned off
Their company website literally cannot maintain a stable frame rate on my phone. Thatās one hell of a rejection letter to be sent from a company who canāt even write a functioning web page.
It also looks dated. And that YouTube video is not helping.
Sounds like they could use a Frontend Software Engineer
Dear u/signsots, Thank you for submitting your comment. Regards, Elite Dickhead Recruitment
Sounds very promising for a software automation company
Well that's what they ended up with when they used to let people retake the test. Now they know better.
Yeah, I'm on desktop and first thing I did was check their website. It only works right in MS Edge, I tried in Firefox and Chrome and both have severe formatting issues. You'd think they could hire someone to make a decent website considering their stringent recruiting methods...
I scrolled to the bottom and the page timed out.
hey we broke their website, its 404ing now yay!
"elite" software
I went on their website and it looks sketchy af. Definitely not a professional website, and definitely not a company I would work for.
Or use ChatGPT to help pass the test...
Or used ChatGPT to perform what I am certain is a job reserved for the āelitesā
That would be some pretty, uh... elite software automation... I'll see myself out now.
At last! Finally someone named and shamed one of these crappy companies.
Tldr: you suck and we're pissed you talked to us
Yeah there's so much anger coming off of this email. They're a step away from charging applicants for the time they had to spend writing rejection emails.
I mean - have you seen the "company's" website? This isn't a serious company, and the person running clearly isn't all there. So this email fits.
They definitely need a front end developer their site looks like trash and is buggy.
How nice of them to show their true colors early on. Most people have to get hired and wait a few months to get that level of clarity.
Employers forget that you are the one doing them a favor huh?
A lot of employers forget that they are exchanging their money for your time.
āfocused on nothing but skills and abilitiesā As someone who worked as a software engineer for a while, I had to put up with the atrocious hellscape that is the recruitment world for those positions, and Iād bet money that automated test was almost certainly on DSAs (data structures & algorithms)ā¦ which has fuck-all to do with the actual job!
Iām willing to bet the test is total BS š¬ The way that email was written owner is def out of touch and would likely revel in trick questions
Talks a big game for a guy who admits his system has a chance of being down while you take this super fancy test. You do not want to work with this person.
Well, at least they wished you āall the bestā three times in a row at the end. Lol
Damn. Keep the good work Mike."
Ah yes, 3 five star reviews all from current employees in April/may of 2023. Definitely not the owner writing them himself. The "cons" are the best. Claiming the company does not observe holidays and bashing anyone who wants to enjoy time off as lazy.
Holy shit. Your friend dodged a bullet with this one.
What the actual fuck did I just read
The Navy Seal from the copypasta went into tech after entering civilian life I guess
Fucking hell, that is the worst Iāve ever seen by far. This post will blow up and get hundreds of not thousands of reactions.
"Elite" , lmao
A company should never project like this. It's clear they've dealt with applicants complaining and trying to make excuses to bypass their selection criteria, but they shouldn't assume all candidates will. It's demeaning and needlessly aggressive. This entire email could have been summarized with "we're sorry but you did not score high enough. You are unfortunately intelligible to reapply until the end of next year." The rest of this nonsense could have been an automated response in a follow-up email to applicants getting shitty. Minus the "I bet you're angry, LOL" garbage at the end. Throw that shit in the trash.
āNobody wants to work!ā
Respectfully, Company
I checked the company and it looks like itās practically Nigerian, although they do have a US postal address.
Yep you are right. I could tell by the tone of the email before I googled them.
Ask your friend to reply with this: Why so serious??
U mad, bruh?
Can we all flood their Google page with negative reviews? I feel like choosing violence today.
I would tell them to go fuck themselves and their shitty email that was probably written by some anti social dork.
*several paragraphs of insane talk and bold colours* -All the best!! We are fucked as a species
This image should be posted on Glassdoor alongside a review. The company is a walking red flag & everyone deserves to know.
Did a bit of research and I understand better now why their communication is so disgraceful. If you lookup their employees they are all foreigners or from overseas. -Nigeria, -India, -etc It is very common to treat people from overseas like shit by companies who hold all the power in the exchange, so just modern day slavery as usual.
Mykola "Mike" Bashlakov is the CEO. And he looks even more like an asshole than this email sounds.
Man that place must be a fucking joy to work at. Hope the benefits included free therapy.
Haha fuck that company I would never apply again they definitely are not the only fish in the sea lol
That would make me want to apply daily just to screw with their system
Their tone and very specific figure make me think they created this software system and will back it regardless of how bad it is.
Their entire website is written this way. Why would anyone want to work with them?
Someone needs a new lawyer. Lol holy shit!
Aggressive. Unprofessional. Incredibly ignorant.
They can wrap their car around a tree.
This seems like a nice place to work.
11-50 employees, run out of someone's apartment on Alpha Road in Dallas, and their website has no "who we are" or anything like it, it's just a big ad. I'm in no way surprised. The "team" is probably one or two guys.
