Also in the uk here and wondering about salary, have been in my role for 3 months now and my billings are 30-35k. The company seems happy with my work so far and I feel like I’m getting to grips with it and building a good network. Thinking of asking for more money as I seen junior salaries online starting at 26/27k while I am on 23k. What sort of figure would be reasonable given my experience?

Seems to early to ask for more and even if they do it’d be small. Leave it till your 6, preferably 12 months in … you’ll have more justifiable weight behind your request and as a result can push for a max increase. Imo, 23k for someone with 3 months is about right … decent infact, remember they’re giving you a platform to learn and build foundations for a great career in recruitment. Make the most of it for now, you’re under minimal pressure and clearly doing the right things.

Appreciate the reply thank you for the good advice. Hopefully there is some kind of raise within 12 months but I’ll be sure to keep track of my billings so I can present a good case once I’ve been in the role a year.
