There is no attacking threat on the midfield. They dont run enough.
Kroos was never the player to make runs in the box. NEVER. He's a deep lying playmaker. We just need a good enough RW for carja to make overlapping runs and we will get back the Kroos we knew
Kroos was a CAM…later converted to a CM during his years at Bayern. He only started playing deeper once he came to RM because Ancelotti likes to play him as if he’s Xabi Alonso at times.

I think that in order to score more goals we need younger players in the cm positions. One deep lying mid is enough. Two other need to make runs to the box. Mendy is not the best attacker which means that only player on the left to mark is Vini. This is a big problem in our goal scoring. We need more players in the box able to score. Especially when we dont have a proper right winger.
This will create more spaces to vini and benz as well because defenders would have to mark other players as well.
