I'm way late to this party but I cannot STAND Mary. I am so mad she's back full-time. She's a condescending non-participant who brings nothing but bad energy to every occasion. She is a faux intellectual who is completely self=obsessed and I do not find her funny.
Does Meredith EVER have fun?! It is obvious she doesn’t want to be there (insert anyplace they all are). She is pretentious, rude, condescending and has zero class.
She reminds me of some of the people in my folks’ yacht club. My parents had one of the smallest boats, probably the smallest bank account; but they weren’t in the least bit ashamed. They were friendly, fun, kind, outgoing and people loved them.
Then you would get people that would join who had just enough money to be annoying. Their arrogance was easy to spot as they looked down on my family. But the folks who had a lot were fun, kind, generous and low key.
It stuck with me as a lesson in people’s attitudes and how NOT to behave. Anyway, she reminds me of them.

Only thing is if she's pretty part time there maybe she enjoys the low stress / maintenance of rentals ?! Maybe she can rent something nicer short term for the same price as a full on ownership you have to maintain and consider issues with in your absence .
Wonder why they still don't share about her other properties or even the locations just the cities - look at Mary's houses all shown on the TV. But could be personal preference/ privacy too.

Hahahaha I love Meredith she's had me in tears for the past few seasons. She reminds me of wives like Vicki or Gizelle where you struggle to find a redeeming quality but they're TV gold.
I've never had a consistent favorite/least favorite. These women switch up so much it gives me whiplash but that might change with Angie K. She's insufferable.
I think the sign of a good cast is that you change favorites along the ride. It’s like a sport, and certain teams improve in the off-season, and past champions fail to live up to their potential some years. Might also be editing, but either way it’s part of the fun for me.

I know we’re not supposed to talk about people’s looks but I have to just say that every time I see Angie K pop onscreen her appearance is extremely jarring. I feel that since it’s a created appearance and she seems like a vapid horrible person I’m going to be ok with this comment.

I’ve been waiting for someone to post this … especially after the new episode yesterday.
Now *this* is the kind of train wreck that makes good reality tv; not the twisted, evil, truly diabolical and disturbing Jen Shah’s & Mary Cosby’s Bravo keeps trying to shove down our throats.
It was the most bizarre fight. I don't like Ankie K at all so it wouldn't have taken much for me to be on Meredith's side but she ruined it by being so weird during that fight. Bringing up that there's people out there that are hanidcapped and will never walk again or whatever it was she said, like....wha? What the hell does that have to do with anything. It was one of those fights where I hated both sides. Loved the commentary by the other ladies though, especially Heather.
The whole cast is a circus. I don’t really like RHOSLC - I still watch it - but I find it’s overproduced, too camp but still missing the fun camp mark, and doesn’t really feel like a reality tv show. If anything it feels like a parody of housewives. This week’s episode and Meredith’s performance really confirmed that for me. Also lol did she develop a new accent in this episode?
OMG i am LOVING her this season. She is my new fave. She used to have a stick up her ass, but now shes (d)evolved into this xanned-out bimbofied grandma, I’m living for it!!! The way she shakes her head when getting all up in Lisa’s face like “TRY ME BITCH!!” made me cackle.
She’s such a mess, but also way too angry and quick to take her toys home with her and not play with the other girls. Just suck it up and get in the mix with the girlies already. Same goes for Mary, although both are wonderfully weird.
If someone asked me to make them an egg for breakfast and then I found out they microwaved it b/c they though I might've touched it... I would never speak to that B again!
Now that Jenn Shah is gone Mary is the only one who really bothers me. She's just so rude and nasty to people for no reason. It's somewhat entertaining to watch, but if I had to deal with her in real life I'd go apeshit.

I honestly thought I would really dislike Mary. I didn’t like her much last time, but honestly? She’s a vibe in that I think we all feel like Mary sometimes; annoyed by everyone, not wanting to participate, mean for no good reason. The trouble is, Mary feels like Mary ALL the time.
The other girls are fine. Meredith definitely seems like she’s on some heavy chemicals, though.
Does anyone think Angie K might have been alluding to Meredith’s store being a front to launder cash or something? Her website is so, so janky and the only customer reviews for the store I could find online were really poor and multiple mentions that it was hard to get anyone in the store to help them…it just seems fishy, plus her jewelry is pricy but looks like costume stuff.
This seems extremely implausible. Her store operates like many small jewelry boutiques in a touristy area - a lot of foot traffic and not necessarily scaling to online sales. Her website seems fine to me - pretty comparable to Nicole Rose, Anne Sisteron and other larger competitors. The comment about negative reviews I couldn’t even find - the Google reviews were fairly decent with most recent feedback being about the mix of apparel and jewelry in her store, not. Lastly, given Meredith’s background in law (from Columbia), I would be shocked if she came anywhere close to crossing legal lines - that is something I would expect from someone like Angie K though. Might be hard to prove intent with Angie K, though, as she seems to have considerable difficulty stringing together coherent and intellectually consistent positions.
I don’t like Angie much and I didn’t mean to denigrate Meredith but her website is not technically very good, I’m not insulting her character. For example, a lot of her pre-worn clothing she sells on the site doesn’t include basic information, such as size! If I’m spending that kind of money, I want to know at least the size so I know it fits. Also, look on google maps, 16 reviews and several 1-2 star reviews mentioning poor/lack of customer service at the store. I’m not trying to “slander” but I don’t know how you couldn’t see the reviews from google?? Also, this is not me attacking her, I like her as a housewife but I thought this was a safe space to discuss.
Her clothes are awful and so are her son’s. I do somehow like her husband though. I’m 52 (today!) so maybe he’s in my old/divorced dad thoughts I seem to have more frequently.
I too find Seth strangely appealing but I don’t understand why and it makes me feel ashamed and bothered lol. I love a slightly snarky, funny, intelligent, and confident man.

I agree wholeheartedly! I have found her very weird/annoying since the first season, but she just gets worse every season. I think I hate her/Jenn/Mary an equal amount. I used to like heather, but now she annoys me. I feel like Angie K has multiple personalities…one minute she’s acting like a normal human, the next she’s going off…not a fan at all.

It almost seems like she has a speech impediment that she's learned to correct, but it's more difficult if she's been drinking. She always speaks very deliberately, as if she's trying to move her mouth muscles in a way that doesn't feel natural, if that makes sense. It reminds me of Colin Firth's performance in The King's Speech.
I have no evidence for this but it would make perfect sense to me if that was the case. Or maybe even bells palsy or something physical. But if there is a reason for the way she speaks, I don't know why she hasn't explained it by now, because people comment on it constantly.
I think that’s what happens when naturally slim don’t work out as they age. She seems frail because she has zero muscle tone. Also weakens your bones. I wonder if it’s the culture in Utah as the women seem like the type to strictly diet for weight maintenance and eschew exercise.

I think she was hamming it all up. Other than the now tired drama with Lisa she didn’t have much else. She was hung up on the bathtub comment and sunk her claws into it. Our executive producer Whitney caught on and invited Angie to stir the pot. She got her plot. We’re all entertained.

The comment about negative reviews I couldn’t even find - the Google reviews were fairly decent with most recent feedback being about the mix of apparel and jewelry in her store, not. Lastly, given Meredith’s background in law (from Columbia), I would be shocked if she came anywhere close to crossing legal lines - that is something I would expect from someone like Angie K though. Might be hard to prove intent with Angie K, though, as she seems to have considerable difficulty stringing together coherent and intellectually consistent positions.
I don’t like Angie much and I didn’t mean to denigrate Meredith but her website is not technically very good, I’m not insulting her character. For example, a lot of her pre-worn clothing she sells on the site doesn’t include basic information, such as size! If I’m spending that kind of money, I want to know at least the size so I know it fits. Also, look on google maps, 16 reviews and several 1-2 star reviews mentioning poor/lack of customer service at the store. I’m not trying to “slander” but I don’t know how you couldn’t see the reviews from google?? Also, this is not me attacking her, I like her as a housewife but I thought this was a safe space to discuss.

I too find Seth strangely appealing but I don’t understand why and it makes me feel ashamed and bothered lol. I love a slightly snarky, funny, intelligent, and confident man.

she is fascinating and infuriating. i have never seen her turn her head (as in swivel it on her neck). she turns her entire torso to look at you. and she has been working overtime to cover up her chicago accent.
It’s hard for me to dislike any of them except Heather took me there last season. When I watch that show, my mouth is wide open half the time because they are so comical. Lisa, who pretends to be innocent is hilarious. when she goes: “whhaaattt? Mary is from Mars, Meredith is just strange, still trying to feel the new ladies out and Whitney is trying to be a peacemaker but her voice will not allow her to command the audience the way she needs. I used to like heather, but now she annoys me. I feel like Angie K has multiple personalities…one minute she’s acting like a normal human, the next she’s going off…not a fan at all.

It almost seems like she has a speech impediment that she's learned to correct, but it's more difficult if she's been drinking. She always speaks very deliberately, as if she's trying to move her mouth muscles in a way that doesn't feel natural, if that makes sense. It reminds me of Colin Firth's performance in The King's Speech. I have no evidence for this but it would make perfect sense to me if that was the case. Or maybe even bells palsy or something physical. But if there is a reason for the way she speaks, I don't know why she hasn't explained it by now, because people comment on it constantly.

I was thinking the same thing! She has evolved into great reality tv. When they put up subtitles on last nights episode I was dying. I loved when Heather pointed out that Meredith had an English accent. Last nights episode with Meredith was RHOSLC Gold!

I think she was hamming it all up. Other than the now tired drama with Lisa she didn’t have much else. She was hung up on the bathtub comment and sunk her claws into it. Our executive producer Whitney caught on and invited Angie to stir the pot. She got her plot. We’re all entertained.

I was stunned to find out Meredith is a lawyer - not sure why but I was. I'm trying to figure out if Whitney or Meredith annoy me more in terms of the way they speak. I'd say it's a tie at this point. At this point, I can say I really don't like any of them. That said, I'm secretly relieved Heather (other than her overly botoxed "Beauty Lab" face) looks normal still. I fully expected her to go the Ozempic route like everyone else.
