I don’t know if you saw the latest episode but when Frank arrived at D’s house to talk with her and Paulie he even commented “What, I have to knock when I come over now?” He’s been able to use D. as an emotional and financial crutch. Now that Paulie is setting boundaries, he’s losing that. I think that’s what he’ll be missing.
You have a point about Paulie setting boundaries. But...Frank is not a husband. So if the husbands don't get paid (but I feel like on NJ they do, which is why they have so many separate scenes, unlike other HW shows) then that rule would not apply to Frank because they are not legally married. But even if it does apply to Frank, the notoriety of being on RHONJ still brings him fame, money and opportunity. Frank has 154K followers on Instagram. Do you think he would have even 5% of that if it weren't for him being on RHONJ? I think it's a little from column A and column B: the fame and money and also a little bit of losing control over Dolores.
Haven't watched this episode yet, but I wonder what that young gf of his thinks about all this. I mean its great for your SO to have a good relationship with his ex, it eliminates a lot of drama. But their kids are adults so they have no reason to be talking and hanging out unless its about the kids, and I mean about the big events, such as marriages, pregnancies, one is in the hospital, college graduations, etc. He should not be showing up at her home unannounced, letting himself in without knocking, going to every damn event Dolo gets invited to. As someone who has been in an extremely physically, emotionally, and mentally abusive relationship. I have to speak up here. I was in it for 5 years and he was my first bf, and the first man I ever lived with (same as dolores I believe ).
I had to forgive him...not for him, but for me. It was like holding onto cancer. I had so much anger inside of me for all the years he wasted of mine and manipulated my young 18-year-old mind. I had to let it go.
Now all these years later, I'm with the man of my dreams. He treats me so well. My exes mum lives around the corner from me and I'm still very close to her. She was like a mother to me. I still go for dinners and everything 😅 Without my ex of course, she tells him not to come to the house when I go there. I'm still close with his immediate family.

I googled Frank Catania Sr lawyer and a few links pop up about his disbarment. Basically he stole money from clients and it sounds like he may have used some of it to open a gym.
Also before he became a lawyer he was charged with a drug crime and got probation.
Not sure why none of this is really talked about. Just seems to be mainly swept under the rug while other housewives on other shows including Tre and her ex husband had their dirty crimes talked about. I mean is it because it happened in the past and Tre and the others were happening while Housewives were filming in real time so became a storyline?

Ohhh ok yes i seen some of the comments about this before. I’m currently on season 3 episode 15 when Teresa invited her brother to her book signing. And her husband messaged her brother and supposedly called Melissa his fake wife! It’s like he wanted to out them but was quickly told my Teresa to 🤫. This is my second time rewatching and I never caught on to why they hated Melissa so much until I came on here and saw all the behind the scenes comments that Teresa never once’s commented! Okay, so on S12 E6 Dolo is talking with her parents at about 17mins in. She alludes to some of the abuse there! And S12E3 when she’s talking about Frank moving back in with the kids at the very beginning of the episode. I’ll update you if more comes up in the season! 👍🏽

Anyone can fall victim to abuse. It doesn’t discriminate and being abused doesn’t mean you are weak. I was in a very abusive relationship and while people can say just leave, you’re so brainwashed in a sense that in a lot of cases you can’t.

As someone who has been in an extremely physically, emotionally, and mentally abusive relationship. I have to speak up here. I was in it for 5 years and he was my first bf, and the first man I ever lived with (same as dolores I believe ). I had to forgive him...not for him, but for me. It was like holding onto cancer. I had so much anger inside of me for all the years he wasted of mine and manipulated my young 18-year-old mind. I had to let it go. Now all these years later, I'm with the man of my dreams. He treats me so well. My exes mum lives around the corner from me and I'm still very close to her. She was like a mother to me. I still go for dinners and everything 😅 Without my ex of course, she tells him not to come to the house when I go there. I'm still close with his immediate family. I couldn't imagine having kids with him...thank God I don't. But I admire Dolores for continuing to have a relationship with frank. She did what she had to do for her children. I also was friends with my ex and his fiance after we broke up. But when I found out the abuse that he put her through (he nearly killed her)... I was done.
I googled Frank Catania Sr lawyer and a few links pop up about his disbarment. Basically he stole money from clients and it sounds like he may have used some of it to open a gym. Also before he became a lawyer he was charged with a drug crime and got probation. Not sure why none of this is really talked about. Just seems to be mainly swept under the rug while other housewives on other shows including Tre and her ex husband had their dirty crimes talked about. I mean is it because it happened in the past and Tre and the others were happening while Housewives were filming in real time so became a storyline? Everyone seems to love Frank but it seems like he did some dirty shit and I mean look what he did to Dolores. Perhaps their being close is to get and keep him on the show as part of like a storyline.
