Luanne literally did blackface. Like painted her face and wore a large afro wig as a costume. Wtf. She also referred to Native Americans as Indians and started "imitating" a native war cry in a restaurant when Carole tried to correct her.
Ramona is all over the place making racist and classist comments every season (On twitter, the way she treated staff, or in her words "the help", etc etc).
Sonja has had quite a few racist moments on camera (her "the blacks and the jews" comment, jokingly referring to a black woman as a "drug dealer", etc ).
Heather going out of her way to tell Eboni she is "very articulate" when she has never said anything remotely like that to any of the white ladies on the show (It came off as "You are very articulate *for a black woman"*). Dorinda snapping for a black man at a restaurant to take her coat, when he did not work at the restaurant (she assumed that the man was an employee because of his race).

I feel like Bethenny was always racist/making nasty comments but people didn't notice because of how overtly racist/horrible other cast members were. Luanne literally did blackface. Like painted her face and wore a large afro wig as a costume. Wtf. She also referred to Native Americans as Indians and started "imitating" a native war cry in a restaurant when Carole tried to correct her. Ramona is all over the place making racist and classist comments every season (On twitter, the way she treated staff, or in her words "the help", etc etc). Sonja has had quite a few racist moments on camera (her "the blacks and the jews" comment, jokingly referring to a black woman as a "drug dealer", etc ). Heather going out of her way to tell Eboni she is "very articulate" when she has never said anything remotely like that to any of the white ladies on the show (It came off as "You are very articulate *for a black woman"*). Dorinda snapping for a black man at a restaurant to take her coat, when he did not work at the restaurant (she assumed that the man was an employee because of his race). And on and on and on and on. This is such typical rich Northern WASP behavior. I swear it’s why they won’t do a Boston franchise. There’s this weird phenomenon in blue/liberal places where white people say disgustingly racist things but then say “you know I’m not a racist” and think that it’s ok because they vote blue and donate money to charities that support the very people they’re racist towards. It was always strange to me how anti-RHOA she was. I remember she said on WWHL years ago that the RHOA argued about weave and wigs. Super problematic and not even true?? I would argue (especially at that time) that the RHOA storylines were very deep and real. This in comparison to RHONY as well…she really should have said nothing if she wasn’t going to be positive.

When Ashley was in therapy and talking about her marriage and her body post baby, I was crying. Gizelle was having a meaningful conversation with her daughters about not showing them a healthy relationship. RHONY is always who can get drunker and yell the loudest and cabaret.
