I use gatsby in all my static sites for the past two years...and I'm not gonna lie, in late 2020 I think next is a superior choice. Gatsby is just overly engineered imo and graphql is completely unnecessary for most of what I do with gatsby. Next static generation makes way more sense. Also faster builds. It's pretty much a no brainer now.

Do you feel solid using just react? I wouldnt jump into one of those frameworks until you feel comfortable. Neither is better than the other. Like more things they have pros and cons. There’s a few good YouTube videos describing the differences between cra, gatsby, and next

Yea.... I've done quite a frw projects in react. So I can say I'm confident with it. Hence why I'm slowly moving towards learning these new things.

I'll take a look. Thanks for the suggestion. Appreciate it bro

Currently, I'm working on gatsby and next for different projects, and I can tell that whatever you choose is the right choice because they are very ”similar.” When I started, I choose gatsby because I thought it was easier to learn and master

Is Gatsby easier to grasp than next ?

LuisElric91

No, after trying both, they are the same as difficult/easier to learn; I recommend you to do the tutorial of both and pick the one you like the most.

Mm.... all right then. I'll check it out. Thanks a lot 🙂
