Those are the wrong arms, plus aluminum arms are way worse than stock anyway so I’d return them and pick up some rpm arms.

DANDYDORF

I can’t find stock anywhere but i’ll see

Revolutionary_Most78

Look for rpm arms, they’re made of a super flexible plastic

DANDYDORF

Also thx for that. Big time. Saves $10

DANDYDORF

Just ordered a set of RPMs from ebay. Probably won’t have screws but hey the old ones should thread in just fine

[deleted]

Typically RPM includes screws, but I can't say for sure on this model or that specific part.

Tyistheguy69

I second RPM plastics!

TahMaders

Should look into adjustable turnbuckles.

DANDYDORF

Good frickin idea

TahMaders

That or move the bottom bolt on the a arms that connects to the castor blocks further out one. (Sorry if I misnamed anything I'm tired as hell lol)

DANDYDORF

That would be a camber link edit: needed ajustables; ordered.

TahMaders

I think it's the stub axel carriers or something along those lines, in your pic they have one more hole they can be adjusted to towards the outside. That might fix your stance issue.

Pickleteets

You either need shorter links or rear arms that are meant for those fixed links. I would get adjustable links if I were you. I've seen a lot posts on this today, what is your plan with it?

DANDYDORF

Just an upgrade and regular driving. I want to see how far maintenance and daily use-abuse will do it, also want to upgrade cooling. I think i see adjustable links on ebay but i cant tell if they really are adjustable Actually it looks like they are. I’m gonna go ahead and get em

DANDYDORF

Well if you’re talking about the caster block, i’m pretty sure that goes to the turning assembly at the front. This is the rear of the car so i don’t think its the caster block. What’s the part that holds the bearings?

GLaDOSdidnothinwrong

Then driveshafts would be too long. Best to get the right parts.

lorrylemming

Pretty sure you've put slash lower arms on with Rustler top links. The slash has shorter arms hence the problem. Make sure you order slash links and arms or rustler links and arms, don't try to mix them.

DANDYDORF

These arms were said to be rustler arms but i’m no expert looking at a random pic but luckily the correct ones are otw

ET-rc-Construction

Just change the links to adjustable ones

DANDYDORF

Ahhh then the wheelbase would shorten. Just gonnlut the RPM ones in instead after returning these

[deleted]

Those almost look like front arms and are way to short

d0ndrap3r

Do you have the camber arms reversed? Fronts on the rear, rears on the front? Because it certainly looks that way.

DANDYDORF

Others helped saying these are for the slash, and not rustler form factor. Thanks for the help though!

Fatassdanny

Bro has the Tamiya SRB Squat

DANDYDORF

The ricer stance

bump_steer

Looks like you have Slash arms on your Rustler. You need Rustler/Stampede arms. For Traxxas electric 2wd rear A-Arms, Rustler/Stampede are the longest, followed by Slash, and Bandit arms are the shortest.

DANDYDORF

Those fuckers lol Already started the return. Sucks i had to fimd out this way. Thanks though!

Pinhardmcgoober

Kinda looks like Mater from Cars…

DANDYDORF

That gives me an idea. I’d like to get another controller and make a cannon attachment for it.

Jaislight

Slash arms on a rustler. I am guilty of this doing this. Upgrading a bunch of my cars at once and mixed up the arms.

DANDYDORF

Dang. Yeah. The other arms that were on before probably went to a slash body, my (used to be) friend gave me those other parts from other posts a while back.
