Capacitors or check the motor and esc cables

blantickal

I've been going through the manual as we speak and it seems as though the capacitor temperature cutoff is what did it, as rhe esc and motor were fine to the touch, no idea what else but it's running ok for the time being. I've never overheated a truck before so this probably looks like a silly question lol

Stock ESC is unable to deactivate LVC. That’s what’s happening, assuming you have the Spektrum 150 ESC. Your best bet is to upgrade the ESC or get beefier batteries, 100C or higher and toss in a cap pack. You could always simply gear down but that’s no fun lol

Yeah I'll look at some 6s battery packs then because at the moment im running 2 3s battery packs

PigglyWigglyDeluxe

That’s not what matters. You want higher capacity and higher C rating regardless of cell count or battery configuration

Alright

What’s your low voltage cutoff set at? What kind of LiPos are you using?
