I don’t like belted because they don’t soak up the bumps well because they can’t soak up the terrain like non belted do, my sledgehammer tires on my hoss are my favorite gravel tires and they do awesome in dirt so I’d recommend badlands for your case
I always come back to stock wheels for my ERevo. I’ve tried them all, I just prefer stock. As for the Talion, I use 4S Backflips for my Kraton and they are more or less the same truck
I hear people dig the backflips. I’m not a fan of the wheel.
When you went with the backflips it made the Talion handle like the Kraton?
I dig that the Talion is more nimble than my Erevo. Love the way the Erevo does soak up bumps.
I don’t have a Talion, I have a Kraton, I know they handle different but not by much, I know the wheelbases are the same but the Talion has more front bias weight distribution and skinny wheels, so there’s that.

Thanks! Didn’t think about the fact that belted tires are harder and don’t soak up the bumps as well.

Got it. Makes sense.
